I would like to thank Mrs. Angela for her outstanding customer service as we all know moving can be such a hassle and also a very stressful time but, thanks to Mrs. Angela from the minute I walked in the store she acknowledged me with a friendly smile and let me know that I was going to be well taken care of with no problems and when I returned my rental truck I was greeted once again with a smile. You can start by actually taking care of the customer. This is nothing on the locations but with your customer service center. I was told that they had a hitch and a trailer at the Cedar Hill location. I showed up at the location and they didn't have an installer. Waited 30min for the manager to show up to do the install, however he was not able to make it. Called the customer service center back as I needed a quick solution as my son was broke down 6 hours away. I was told the nearest location to where I was going was 45 miles out of the way however I was assured they had a hitch and a trailer and they confirmed a 1300 install the next day in Lubbock. Called the customer service center the next morning to see if they could check if the location had an earlier appointment. Got no return call so I decided to go to the location early. I talked to the GM there and they checked their stock and they had no hitch. Once again poor coordination from the call center. They tried to help me out by giving me a Truck they had left, which was 26ft. with a trailer and charged me 449.90 and went on to tell me they saved me $50. That's not the case. That truck cost me $170 in gas on top of the fact I still have no hitch. How is this helping me out. I had no other option at the time but to take the truck. Very Poor customer service.

Reserving and picking up the truck was fast and easy. When picked up the truck had very little fuel. The fuel gauge was on "E" with the "low fuel" warning. So, the first thing I had to do was get gas. The U-haul attendant explained I could bring the truck back with the same amount of fuel (none)or bring it back with 1/4 tank of fuel and get a $33 fuel credit. I opted for the fuel credit because I didn't want to guess wrong and run out of gas. Turns out the fuel credit was not $33, as stated, but rather $16.50. Would have preferred the truck have at least 1/4 tank of fuel when picked up and that staff provide accurate information.

Larry is a wonderful asset to the team. Prior to this change of location, I spoke with a young person at 1-800-492-5203. He did not provide his name on the first attempt to change my location, he asked intrusive questions of me that were not appropriate. Then threatened me with a charge for changing locations. hen I tried to tell him I would just leave it at the original drop location. He became defensive, and said, "Wooooaahhh." I admittedly cursed at him, and he hung up. I called him back and reminded him that the "Customer is Always Right no matter what." He then informed me I would not talk to him like I was his child, I asked him to escalate the call, he said no manager was there and hung up. I called back, he hung up, I called back, he hung up. I called back and he responded with, "This is Uhaul, Adrianna speaking," a woman's name. I asked to speak with a manager, and he hung up. I was left to google the 800 number on the Uhaul's overall company website. Where I eventually got ahold of Veronica who apologized and she helped me change stores, with no fees imposed. The young man at the original 800 number should not be left alone to answer phone calls. I am sure I am not the first to have this problem. He is not an appropriate speaker and his words were hardly intelligible. I recommend his discipline from a supervisor, his refusal to escalate the call to a call center or otherwise, is inexcusable.

Great people working there now!!! I was really impressed. Take the dolly and the rag bag out! They really get in the way and can be a safety risk when trying to load. I almost fell several times over the dolly when turning after I was handed a box to pack. Also takes up space that I may need and paid for for something else.

check equipment and make sure its maintenance is done and ready for the customer..in my case the truck should have been maintenanced and ready for my long distance one way trip from Cedar hill, TX to Federal Way, WA but unfortunately it wasn't WHICH costs us more money and more travel time..very inconvenient! But the staff at the Cedar hill, TX was very nice and helpful, just wish they would've checked the truck out better!
