Remove, or offer to remove, the bag of pads and hand truck from the cargo box. It impedes loading and unloading. It too restricts how much cargo can be transported. This obstruction is not a feature of Budget brand rental trucks.

The price quoted on the internet is not the final price. If you are budgeting your money, there will be tax added to that quoted price. My rental carried a rental tax of 34.00 which I thought was kind of high. Could you please include the tax in the quoted price so customers will not be surprised about the expensive rental tax?

It is too bad that there is not just a flat fee for the rental of a pick up truck. We ended up spending $90 on a rental we used for 2.5 hours. That is very expensive.

People who work behind counter need better customer service.When doing paper work for the truck I ask the girl who was waiting on me if they offered Veteran discounts for military.I told her where I lived buisness's offered some discounts of 5%-10% off final bill,one of the being Lowes.I was told by the young lady that Chesapeake was a military town and if they offered discounts to Veterans they wouldn't make any money .I was shocked and pissed off by her comment.You will not have to worry I won't spend anymore time or money in any U-hauls again. If anyone ask me do I know where to rent a truck,I'll tell them where not to rent one.

Upon picking up our reservation before COB on Friday April 3, 2015 we explained to the clerk that we would need well more than 6 hours to move since they were calling for rain the following morning. As a result he asked that we have the truck back by 3pm Saturday April 4, and if for any reason we could not have it back by 3, then they would simply deduct the applicable fees from our deposit as so as long as we notifed them of the delay. Notification of the delay was given just after 3pm and the lady on the other line was EXTREMELY RUDE and demanded that we have the truck back quote" YOU MUST HAVE BACK ABSOLUTELY NO LATER THAN 4:30". She did not provide any options for us at this time, but instead was extremely irritated towards me by use of a threatening tone. I apologized to her and advised that we would not have the truck back because everything we owned was currently being transported in the truck to the new location and she said that it did not matter and that we MUST figure out a way to have it unloaded and returned before 4:30pm.

The staff was extremely fast getting us checked in and processing everything once we returned the equipment. Everyone was extremely friendly and very willing to help. I will definitely do all my future rentals from this office. Thank you all so much!

The equipment was clean but drove hard! The transmission was dragging while it was in drive! I believe we used too much gas! When we left the truck had 722 mileage last three numbers but on paperwork it had 711 mileage and the gas stated that it had 1/8 (over a half of tank)that's the first thing I looked at when I got in the truck where was the mileage and how much gas! Customer service and the return was great! Staff was very professional!

1st place on reservation closed at 4:30. had no idea they closed that early. why do i have to fill up the tank and pay for mileage? seems like a double charge and greed. Had I known, I would have searched for a company that only charges one or the other, if they exist.

The sales associate Autum did not tell me that I would be charged my the mile, she only asked that I estimate... Well I went from renting a $29.00 truck + your insurance or whatever it is to paying $90.00. When I tried to explain and or get clarity about the previous $62.00 charged to my card the American America. Male with funny colored eyes was so rude, he did not listen but yet told me... "Listen to me and what I'm saying because clearly you are not listening"... Beyond rude and totally uncalled for. So what can be done to improve is to thoroughly go over ALL charges with the customer and explain everything do not assume that we know it all. Have some customer service training sessions for your staff. This was first and last last time dealing with Uhaul.

Staff should notify customers on what to do when you bring the rental back. I was headed inside when a staff member asked for the keys. I handed him the keys and preceeded inside only to be told that everything is handled outside with the person who told the keys. There was a lack of communication because the gentleman who pulled in behind me did the same thing. So this information should be told upon arrival.

I have used this location several time for local and long distance moves. Robert and his staff has always taken care of my truck and trailer rental needs. when I scheduled my rental on line I had an issue with the pick-up location. I emailed my concerns and the next day Robert called me and assured me that he would take care of it and it was ready and waiting when we got there. I would definitely recommend this location, and Thank You, Robert for your help all these years

During the trying time of moving my father-in-law into assisted living, every time we needed a truck to move him or his belongings, we went to U-Haul on Woodlake. The first move due to weather and other issues, the reservation had to change multiple, times and they helped and met our needs every step of the way. Every truck was clean, equipment functioned the way it was suppose to and customer service in the shop by all employees were awesome in their customer service. I will use this location for all moving needs.

made reservation with budget-got there and no truck, no apologies even with confirmation of reservation. I went to uhaul and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful, service was wonderful & equipment was in great condition. will recommend to all !!!
