Both locations, and all employees I interacted with in person and over the phone, were excellent. However, my over all experience with U Haul was horrible. I had significant problems with the online reservation process and several problems with the over all infastructure of U Haul. When I completed my contract, I called Customer Service to complain, and the representative I spoke to just seemed confused as to what I wanted. I didn't want to be paid or reimbursed, I just wanted the problems to be corrected so I would feel comfortabke using U Haul in the future. He could not understand that I didn't want money and implied that there was absolutely nothing he could or would be doing to help. I then received your link to this review site, but now find that I can only review the individual locations and not UHaul over all.

I was hesitant to use UHaul since many recent reviews were negative but I took a chance and I had no problems whatsoever. The line was long when I entered and only two people were assisting us. More Uhaul assistants would be nice. Also more parking for customers would be great too.

When I came into this location I had no reservation and needed a van that same day. The woman who helped me was amazing! Not only was she efficient in moving things along, but she listened and responded to my questions and concerns. When I came back later at 630pm to pick up the van, another woman was working and she too was great. The man who got the van for me was excellent as well and really helpful in answering my questions. Highly recommend this uhaul location.

I was very upset with the condition of the uhaul I rented. It was very dirty with trash from the prior occupant still in the cab and reeked of cigarette smoke which I am very allergic to and am now sick from being in the vehicle for a long move. I had to go to a store to get cleaner just to make it a little better since I had no other option.

I reserved my truck 6 weeks in advance for 9 AM only to be told the night before that the truck would be available at noon. I had already hired movers for 10 AM, making this last minute change highly inconvenient and stressful. This sort of service makes me question whether I would use UHaul again when moving. Luckily, the service at the actual store was generally cooperative and efficient, but the overall UHaul system needs to make changes - namely, if you reserve a truck for a certain time, that time should be upheld (even if the location has to be changed, etc.).

I think spare keys for all uhauls should be made.We locked ourselves out and had to hire a locksmith. I would understand if there was a fee for having to request a spare key but not having even one seems ridiculous.

Check-out was slow. Line was long and one of the two people working (8/9 at 10am) left the counter for over 10 minutes. The woman that helped me was not customer friendly. I did the express check-out online, but it got me no where....did not save any time at check-out. And it wasted my time the day before filling it out. Not pleased. Then, bill was wrong when I came back. Luckily, the guy working check-in was good and fixed the bill. I'll pay Penske the extra cost next time for a better experience.

the air conditioner wasn't working so I asked for a different truck. the man that assisted me told me that that was not a luxury vehicle it was a moving truck. he was extremely rude. the young lady that check me in was very pleasant and professional

This is the worst UHaul I've ever been to. I made my reservation 2.5 weeks prior and was then called by a rude woman from the office who said I couldn't rent my truck at 10AM like I requested, it would have to be past 11. When I explained that I HAD to have it by 10 b/c I had to be out of my apartment by noon, she said it wasn't her problem and I had to call UHaul's main number. When I DID call UHaul's customer service, they said my reservation was still intact, and I shouldn't have any issues. On the day of my move, I came VERY close to not having a truck for me (the woman before me was told they didn't have a truck for her despite her reservation) and I BARELY got mine on time and this was only because someone returned their truck 30 minutes early. I was also told I couldn't have my truck for 6 hours; it was 4 and I would be fined for bringing it in later. I arrived at 10AM to pick up my truck and waited in line for 45 minutes to receive it; this left me 3 hours for actual use. AND after waiting in line for 45 minutes, the cashier person said, "hold on", and disappeared for about 5 minutes. She was very rude in her interactions with me and other customers. My question is...if this is the moving high season, why wouldn't UHaul sufficiently staff their offices with people and equipment so people can get what they reserved. I will NEVER use this UHaul location EVER again. It was a terrible experience.

We reserved truck online for 8 hours but they only had the truck available for us for 4 hours when we checked in. Counter people VERY rude and not helpful. After waiting on the phone for UHaul central a long time, another person finally came out of the back room and was able to get me a truck for the whole day. Very stressful, but they finally did accommodate the original agreement.

The people at the front desks that were checking out the vehicles in the morning of Thursday July 31st were the absolute worst. They were slow and didn't care about the fact there was a line of 30+ people. They also complained about customers right in front of them. They were argumentative and completely unprofessional. The only saving grace about this location is the gentleman that checked out truck back in after our allotted time, Alex. He was a great help and took the time to explain our total and was incredibly pleasant. Fire everyone else at this location and promote Alex. That is the only way I will ever consider using this location again.
