I originally booked a truck because the van was not available... When I came to the location the customer who rented a van came back, so I asked to change my vehicle to van. The person who assisted me honored my request but did not change the insurance, so I paid $14 instead of $11. I later saw the error and asked somebody working there to fix it; but the error was never corrected and I was charged slightly larger amount. It is not a huge sum of money but I still do not feel they did the right thing... Would not recommend the location to friends.

Over the phone employees were just as pleasent as they were in person. Employees was very welcoming and very helpful. They even took the time to hear my horrid and stressful move. The made everything clear and assured I could call or stop in and they would be happy to assist.

I dislike the fact that UHaul tries to automatically add items to your rental list. I wanted to get a dolly and nothing else, but it was easy to miss that the website added a bunch of other stuff along with that. I had to go back and redo a bunch of my order. This is not an issue with the specific rental place though, which provided great service.

I did not elect to purchase the insurance for a 17 foot truck. I traveled a total of 20 miles. When I returned the truck, another lady went out to check the miles logged and then took pictures of a number of scratches on the passenger side outer wall. I did not hit or scrape anything during my truck usage, and the three different scratches had different colored streaks (different items had been hit). She wiped her hands on the side and showed how it came off, proving that it had been recent. The interesting thing was that she didn't even have in hand the pre-inspection I had completed on the truck, showing those exact scratches. In the end I was not charged, the lady who I checked the truck out form in the morning did not bill me. However, I left with a very foul taste in my mouth. The point of the pre-inspection sheet is to identify damage areas that did not have a black X over them. I felt like the company was trying to fleece me into paying for damage that I didn't commit. I felt like I was a target since I didn't buy insurance. The lady said, "well, you didn't buy insurance...". When I pulled my phone out in the office showing pictures from before I left the lot that morning (with the time of the photos on it) she was exposed. I am unsure whether she was trying to generate additional revenue or whether she thought she was doing the right thing, but it did not go over well with me and wasted an additional 20 minutes of my time. I was not charged in the end but there are so many scratches on the sides of the trucks that if I use UHaul again I would recommend purchasing the insurance. Based on this experience it isn't worth the time and aggravation of having to deal with potentially unethical or unprofessional employees.

My suggestion would be to keep Tonya. She was polite, courteous, and business like. Tonya explained every detail to me. but, you do need to clean the front office up a bit and entry.

Associate was pleasant but did not provide the reserved truck but delivered an alternate vehicle at a higher price. It felt like a bait and switch moment. I would have insisted on a different mode if time was more favorable.

When I returned the rental vehicle, I informed the representative that it was difficult to start the vehicle because the key doesn't turn easily in the ignition switch. The representative seemed dismissive of my comment. I think the vehicle needs to be checked because it makes no sense that the car does not start immediately but requires 2-3 minutes of trying to turn the key.

Was incorrectly charged for gas, and unfairly charged for cleaning. Have rented several u hauls without this happening. The buyer should be aware and avoid if possible.

Improve the conditions inside the building that the rental information and agreements are set up. A piece of the wall literally fell off while we were in the waiting area. The employees and the rental van were fantastic though, making this a great experience.
