Amazing location! Process went fast and efficiently. Was very flexible about me returning the Uhaul even after their store closed. 2nd time going there and definitely not the last. I plan on recommending this location to all of my Chicago friends. VERY VERY Friendly!!

I would appreciate an aux input or at least a CD player. I had a 13 hour drive in this truck and the radio is boring. I called about this and the rep said that UHaul did not want to spend the money to put CD players in all their trucks. What gives? Please do not limit the speed of the truck to 75 miles per hour. I was driving across Indiana, where the speed limit is 70 mph, and there were many situations in which I was in a tight spot and could not get out of the way of someone who wanted to pass because i could not go past 75 mph.. This is dangerous.

I wasn't notified at the time of my online reservation that I wouldn't be able to drop off the U-Haul after store hours. As such, I had to keep the U-Haul overnight and return it in the morning. Additionally, there was no parking lot, so I had to cab back to get my car that night. Once I dropped off the U-Haul in the morning, I had to cab back to pick-up my car. This doubled the cost of the U-Haul. I will never rent here again. I was extremely dissatisfied.

This location did not have the truck or equipment I reserved. They were very slow in attending to me, had to go back and fix my order because they failed to include the equipment movers which we part of my original order. I knew I would be pushed for time so came 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up and it still took over half an hour.

The vans are extreme gas-guzzlers. I ended up using more than $50 worth of gas for just 2 trips to Ikea both less than 25 miles from my starting point. Would appreciate it if they were upgraded to gas sippers.

Mr. Flower and Mr. Ping Pong was great, but we had an inordinate amount of problems before we got to this place. About this store, it was inviting, unique, and had a fun gift shop. The owners were friendly, prompt, and professional, and I appreciate their service. I was impressed, and the shop name made me smile. Our service before we got to this store was absolutely atrocious, and so was the customer service process we went through in trying to resolve our concerns. We reserved a truck a month before our moving date and were quoted at a certain price. We were promised our size truck would be available and that the price would be locked in by giving our credit card information. Here the problems began. We found out that Uhaul downsized our truck without telling us (and there was absolutely no way we could have made the move with a ten foot truck). In addition, they chose one of the farthest away locations from us to pick up our incorrectly sized truck, all without asking us. We called customer service to straighten out the location and found out that the truck size had been changed and the date of our reservation was wrong. After waiting on the customer service line and being disconnected, then calling again, we were able to change the location and the date. We went to our second pickup site, and at 45 minutes after we were supposed to pick up the truck, we were told it had no keys. They called a key smith and I found out through asking that it would take another one or two hours at least to get keys made. This should have been taken care of well before I arrived there. After realizing this would make us wait even longer and get a late start, we decided to move our reservation to the next day. We called customer service again and tried to find a properly sized truck somewhere in Chicago. They had told me none were available last time, but this time it seems there was one available. We reserved it. I tried to negotiate our rental agreement with the regional customer service office because of our poor service up to this point, but they added insult to injury by quoting us at a price that was over one hundred dollars higher than what we had originally supposedly "locked in" the price. The customer service representative then offered me a $25 discount off the $100-increased price, and when I said I was dissatisfied, she said that "Well, U-Haul has to make a profit off this rental." As a person who has worked in customer service for many years, I found this to be an inappropriate response. My training has taught me that customers who have received less than optimal service, let alone poor service, deserve a refund or replacement, not to be made a profit off of. We were able to make some negotiations on the price and a new reservation for the right sized truck this time. At this point, I picked up the Uhaul from Mr. Flower and Mr. Ping Pong, which was thankfully a good experience. After having delayed our entire move by a day, we drove to our destin

Initial online order was incorrect and had to spend a half hour on the phone with customer service fixing it. Then was told to go to a different pick up location which did not have the vehicle so had to go to another location to get a different truck. Due to change in size, I initially was going to be charged more for truck/insurance even though the mistake was not my fault and I had to argue for another 20 minutes with customer service to have the price adjusted. Also, on a previous rental the week before, I had my pick up location changed without notification 1 day before pickup, then upon arrival, they did not have the equipment I purchased with the truck and I had to drive to another location to pick up the equipment. This extra 10 miles I had to drive put me over my mileage limit and I had to pay an extra $5 for overage. Overall, I have been very unpleased with my last two UHaul rental experiences and will likely look elsewhere with other companies next time I have to rent a vehicle.
