Service was excellent and reps were knowledgable and thorough with all instructions. Only thing I'd say is the return process should be a little quicker, rep should attend to returned vehicles that pull up into the equipment return area a bit faster, however besides that I give them 5 stars. First time I use UHAUL and I will definitely send all my business your way!

The truck we rented did not have working a/c that worked properly. This was all on a hot and humid day in Chicago and being stuck in traffic a lot didn't make the situation better. When we came to return the truck Antoine was very welcoming and understanding and listened to our complaint. He immediately offered to correct the situation and handled the everything very professional and efficiently. He is a solid employee that notice should be taken upon.

RESERVED A 17 FT TRUCK AND WAS CALLED THE DAY BEFORE MY MOVEING DAY SAYING THAT THAY DON'T HAVE A 17 FT TRUCK ONLY A 14 FT TRUCK WHAT IS THE POINT OF RESERVING A TRUCK IF THAY DON'T HAVE IT AT THE LOCATION YOUR PICKING IT UP AT.

A U-Box was delivered to this location, and I was never contacted about when rent was due, except when I was told my items would be auctioned off. The storage unit I was going to rent had a hole in the wall, 3 weeks later, still not fixed. No business from me ever again.

NIGHTMARE! The 4301 N Cicero location was great and very helpful given the circumstnaces below.....BUT I had booked and had a GUARANTEE email (received the previous day) saying my truck would be the 1200 Fullerton location. I got a call less than 2 hours before my schedule pickup to say the location was changed. The last thing you need when moving is the last minute hassle of getting halfway across Chicago in the rush hour to get your truck! U-haul should have arranged for the truck to be moved to honor their supposed guarantee!

Make sure to check the initial mileage truly is what the agreement says it is. I got charged am extra 25 miles because of that and had no way to prove it all because the first guy read the mileage wrong.

I was there to pick up a pick up truck that I had reserved online on the 30th, a little before 9am. The poor guy behind the counter was so busy running 2 registers and trying to deal with an issue going on outside. I'm hoping his day wasn't intentionally set up like this but maybe had a call in on the schedule or something. Needless to say, there was quite a wait for the customers in line since he was the only one to wait on us. My thoughts are that (even as an infrequent user of storage/ moving trucks) the first and last days of the month would be the busiest and staffing should reflect that. Nonetheless, he was respectful and courteous regardless of the craziness that was going on.

Put in reservation two weeks prior to needing a truck with furniture dolly and when we showed up, we were told they did not have a furniture dolly. After complaining, they "found" one. Next time, either reflect on the online reservation that one is not available or make sure one is on site.
