I book/reserved a truck a week in advance for pick-up @ a location aproximately 5 miles from my house only to be notified that I would have to drive 20 miles out of my way to pick-up the truck. Then the location/business we were given for drop off was no longer a u-haul dealer. I called the customer service line and a very helpful rep listen to my frustration and understood that I would not have time to drive across town to drop off the vehicle. She gave me an alternate location and then another 24 hrs assuring me that I would not recieve a late fee. Then when we attempted to drop off the vehicle on Monday we were given the run around by the agent and the customer service rep that became involved. It became an inquisition and near persecution regarding the hows and whys of the whole situation. The customer rep was rude and the agent was even ruder. We continued to be threatened with a late fee and informed we would have to pay for an extra day. At that point I put a hold on my bank card. In the end the customer sevice rep conceded to not charge us any additional fees but it should never have been up for debate. This is the most inconvienient experieince I have ever had moving and dealing with u-haul. I will never deal with u-haul again.
