Horrible and slow service. .I work with the public and I would never want to say anything bad about any fellow service people but I have had it with the disorganization of your Gilbert Ave location. .I rent from you often but I'm considering otherwise. .

Small parking lot is the only downside. The service was great and the staff was very nice. Quickly got the contract done and was on my way. Upon return, I just dropped of the key with the lot staff and it all took no more than 2 minutes. Very efficient!!!

After reading the reviews I was a little leery on this location , but when I walked in I got my van and signed and out the door with 25 min. Excellent service and friendly , and left my car there and it was safe. Your in good hands with this place .

The manager has cheated me out of my $ 100. 00 security deposit. I am very disappointed. This place made $800 off of me for an out of town move, then their manager was dishonest with me..multiple calls to the corporate office and call center. Lot is extremely full and unorganized. The younger guys were sweet and at least tried to be helpful. Never again!!!

I was greeted by a hello Sir are you dropping off today. I was also invited inside out of the cold to get my receipt. I was even warned to lock my vehicle because it's not that great of a neighborhood. The people there were friendly and helpful and seemed to care about my well-being. They also asked how my trip was and if the equipment functioned as it should have and asked if I had any problems. I give the Cincinnati guys A big thumbs up and I would definitely go back there again because they have good attitudes

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had renting from UHaul. I don't know where to begin related to the lack of professionalism I received - specifically the "bait" and "switch" actions on your company's part. I provided credit card information to hold the reservation, then when I went to pick up the truck, I was told I needed to swipe that credit card in order to receive the truck. When I asked the agent why, he said he didn't have the credit card information and if I wanted the truck I needed to provide the credit card AGAIN! I didn't have the card with me - since NORMAL companies will bill that you made the reservation with - unless you present a different one for billing. He said if I could not provide some type of credit card, I could not rent the truck. If I had not had one of my personal cards with me at the time, it would have been a giant mess! This is just one example of my frustration. During the course of trying to rent a truck from UHaul, there were several other issues - don't get me started on the "customer service" agent I spoke with regarding the reservation. THAT was a joke. If there had not been a serious need to rent at that time, I would have walked away. However, we were renting the truck to transport 90 Thanksgiving baskets for distribution to needy families. I choose not to disappoint those families.

The truck I rented was very old. I had to travel a total of 300 miles and I was relieved that it made it the distance. Is there a cut off on trucks of a certain age? This truck was 16 years old with 181000 miles on it.

Perform regular inspections of rental equipment. I paid for the use of a dolly, but received one with a broken wheel. The paperwork I had, did not match the truck.. The mileage was incorrect, and the gas level was also. This caused for me to have to put far more fuel in the vehicle than was required. The Uhaul policy is that there are no reimbursements for additional fuel, so it seems that the correct fuel level is rather paramount. I have use this location regularly, and there are rarely the same people working.

First, the attendant working was very nice and completely over worked. He was the only person working that day, and there were many disgruntled customers and so to that effect he did a great job and I felt horrible for what he had to go through. With that, renting from Uhaul was a nightmare. After the reservation was wrong twice I went to get the truck and the person I was renting from was an hour late. I had movers at my house waiting (who were so used to this they didn't seem to mind the issue). So then I was moved to the Gilbert store only to wait an hour to get a truck. The movers and customer service were very helpful, but the business that Uhaul ran/runs and how many issues I had I cannot say this was even moderately close to worth the cheap cost of renting. BOOOOOOOO

The return experience was a bit stressed as there were only 2 people on duty. However, they were both doing the best they could. They were terrific but it took a bit long as there were several customers waiting to pick up vehicles.

Have more than one employee open the store on Sunday, the first day of the month. This employee had a long line of customers and had to do all the paperwork AND pull every truck out for every customer. We made a reservation several days early, we arrived on time for the reservation, but we have to wait in line for an hour even though there were only 5 rental customers in front of us. The employee said he tried calling his manager several times for some assistance but the boss never answered or came in during the hour+ we were there. The employee did a great job handling some very angry customers and completed each task quickly accurately with a great attitude. The management was apalling.

I have had good experiences at the Gilbert Ave location in the past, but when I returned my van on October 31, I experienced terrible customer service. The biggest issue is that there was only agent at the location. It took 45 min - 1 hour to even get service. When I did get up to the desk, the agent rushed me through my bill. I ended up being charged for an extra fuel purchase, even though it was not my fault. When I checked the van out in the morning, a different person noted that my fuel level was below the marker in the system and made a note on my receipt. Unfortunately, in the evening when I returned the van, it all happened so fast that I didn't have time to explain that to the agent and was charged the extra amount, as he believed I had not fueled up properly.

It seems as though this location is not properly staffed. It took about 30 minutes to get our truck and there was no one behind the desk for the first 10. The man who eventually helped us was extremely rude, despite us being very kind to him throughout the process. We will not be returning to this location.
