Better customer service. Better preventative maintenance on trucks. Friendlier management. These are just a few things that need to change at uhaul. Lance the general manager at uhaul in Coeurdalene Id 83815, is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Not only to customers, but his staff as well. They need more people behind the counter helping. 10 min wait time every time we went in. I have already told everyone we know in the area not to use uhaul. Trucks are unsafe and, the worthless drones behind the counter offer zero help if and when your truck brakes down. They pawn everything off to roadside assistance. Roadside assistance needs to have quicker call back times. I had to call them 3 times to find out if they had a tow truck on the way They didn't. It was going to take them two days to get one to me. Who in their right mind has two days to wait for a tow truck. Especially when you are trying to move. Each time I waited 30 minutes before calling them back. Then I had to start over because I got someone different every time. This was the worst experience I ever had as a consumer. We will also be writing letters to the editors of our local papers. Just to warn people about the hassles and lack of respect you get when dealing with uhaul. You need to change your slogan from "An easier way to move" to "How can we mess up your move".

The ONE elevator in the storage bldg. had broken down twice in one day. We had to carry our last load up the stairs. We were the lucky ones. There were others there to fill their storage unit & the two men in the office were not very understanding. The other customers left frustrated & upset. There was definitely no 'customer service' to help the people with this unfortunate U-Haul issue.

My paper work and receipt only said to take the equipment to Cda, Idaho. So, I returned the equipment to the largest uhaul dealer in the area, I was charged an extra 40.00 dollars with no explanation or reasoning. Also, I was asked to return the truck by 9am, I scheduled helpers thru uhaul to arrive at 9am that day, If uhaul can't communicate between its own scheduling options then what does that say about uhauls ability to communicate between different locations. Might want to review your scheduling options on the website

This location seemed to be quite understaffed for a Saturday morning, and I ended up waiting quite a while. A couple more people came on at 11am, though, and service picked up. Everyone was extremely helpful, despite the wait, and once they had enough staff they were very attentive.

I parked and unloaded the truck into a uhaul storage unit. The employees were moving around trucks and trailers, pinning me in. I could not move the uhaul safely out of the parking lot to fill the gas tank back to beginning level, resulting in my credit card beimg charged $71. This is my 5th time using a uhaul in the last 4 years. I will look at renting through another company next time.

Mr Liberty & jessica were very busy but extremely helpful. They got me a storage unit & was able to refund me my $12 for an appliance dolly (which i did not get) that the place in Oklahoma refused to refund me. Thank u CDA U-Haul.

I had called a month in advance to request a cargo van with TWO keys. I needed these two keys to do a drop off of cargo for a river trip and to coordinate things being picked up at the end of the trip. I called SEVERAL times to confirm the cargo van with two keys. Upon arrival, there was no note or record of my request. I had to take a van with only one key. We had to make arrangements with the entire group to do the shuttle differently. This was a very disappointing experience.

Staffing was insufficient causing way too long of delay when we arrived to pick up the trailer we had reserved. Unfortunately I have witnessed this every time I have been to this location. Staff was courteous and professional and worked hard to accommodate. Check in upon return was fast and efficient.

The vehicle I rented was old, shifted rough and the dash lights didn't work. I I have rented many u hauls in the past and this one was by far the worst.

It took over an hour for them to get the computer paperwork finished. Then the ball on the uhaul wouldn't disengage, so we could load the trailer on the vehicle. Then when we went to unload the door was stuck and fell off the tracks - in general a lot of unnecessary stress.

I made an appointment for a 5 oclock pick up and waited for an extra 45 minutes while the two associates behind the counter scrambled to figure out where my equipment was as the truck they were looking for was literally right outside the front door, if I make an appointment I expect to be able to pick up what ever I ordered at that time. It boarder lined on the ridiculous

Ensure the truck ramp is operable and in good working order. We wasted hours between trying to get the ramp to work, trying to fix it, having to come in and switch trucks, and having to unload a truck full without a ramp. And although I asked several times for a refund, credit, or some type of accommodation to be made for the faulty equipment, I never received any word back. Very poor customer service.

I was told to file my complaint when I dropped off the trailer. This was confusing as well because once it is paid it is longer a reservation so the person had a difficult time finding my information. Again, UHaul's call center and computer system creates very unhappy customers.

The attic portion of the truck was covered in oil and unusable for the duration of my move. My movers warned me that my furniture may smell like oil due to the quantity. Picking up the truck went great and Lance wa easy to work with. The return was ridiculous. Pretty sure it was a 12 year old helping me and after having to smell/deal with the oil I was not in the mood to deal with a child at the end of a long day. The fact that I have to contact customer service a second time to file a complaint is also ridiculous!
