The pickup is rated to tow 5500 lbs. But only has a 4 prong trailer hook up. You should add a 7 prong trailer plug. Ford truck was great.

Actually picking up a rental was a painstaking experience with many people waiting unnecessarily in a line up to just do updates to the process. The "General Manager" was in a bad mood as she was called in to work because the person required there had a personal family incident. We drive a commercial 1 ton truck with a deck which created a bit of a challenge to secure the safety chains due to bumper design. I secured it by an alternate but secure method and the same GM had to come out verify it as per company policy, OK'ed it and went back to the office muttering away unhappy witnessed by my wife. This is a larger and busy dealer but I the service counter is trying to too many things with one at the same time. I have a safety concern overall about the yard people trying to lift certain trailers tongues with their backs and legs when a simple wheeled devices would lift and move them more easily in the absence of tongue jacks.

Checking the equipment out took a long time because the trailer they hooked up was not in the system. After a long delay, I was hooked up to a different trailer and checked out. I returned the trailer 24.5 hours later and was charged for the two days I had contracted for. No surprise but a rebate would have been fair. Other than the above, excellent.

When u call a # and they tell u. U can tow the van or truck or car and then u get help to go get it. When u get there they tell u. U can not. Then u have to call the main office to get the help so they call the store and tell them to look and they find out that u can. I wasted Pratt almost all day Tuesday to have this done you turn around and tell me I couldn't do it and you found out you could you guys need to get the left-hand know what the right hands doing or the right-hand what let us up but left-hand out what doing guys need to get your stuff straight

We called for information on a hitch installation and apparently we were forwarded to a corporate location because the information we were given was wrong. I called to inquire the cost and what equipment came with the installation and I was told that the price they quoted me included all the equipment needed including the adapter, the ball, and the pin. So I brought in my car to have the installation with only 2 more days before my move, and when I came back to pick up my car I ended up having to spend an additional 70 dollars on the equipment that I was previously told came with the installation. The lady that worked there, along with the gentleman that loaded our trailer onto our car, are the only reason our experience wasn't completely awful. The manager needs to work on a friendlier attitude. When I come to a business environment in order to pay for a service, I expect to be treated with kindness and respect. I shouldn't have the manager of that establishment treat me as though I'm a bother to his day.

Have more than one person working the front desk at 7am when you open. I was the first person in line and had pre-ordered my truck. It was not ready when I got there and by the time the truck was checked in and cleaned and I left there were 5 people in line behind me. Only 2 people were working that morning and the one that was responsible for checking in the truck never answered her walkie talkie so the front desk guy had to keep going in the back to get my order resolved.

Contacting the location was bad. Called numerous times and kept getting national call centers. They left 3 messages for the location to call and they never called on Sunday July 5th. Communication via phone was very disappointing.
