Check out took way too long and too many errors. Our trailer ended up having to be returned to a different location 10 miles further than what we had requested. Very frustrating as we had a much closer option that for some reason got ignored.? Numerous attempts to have working lights on the trailer failed. Sorry to have to report negatives, but unfortunately that's what stands out.

I returned the truck early wanted to leave it over night until we unloaded it in your storage area and was told that I could not. When we did turn in the truck I was also told that we could not recive any type of militay discount. They should have taken care of that at the other end. Not very happy by this time. When we did return the truck we had to wait another 20 mins.

My original reservation was somehow messed up and I had to pick up the van I rented a day later than originally intended. This is despite the fact that I called the day prior to my original pick-up date to make sure everything was set. The customer service agent on the phone who adjusted my reservation was rude and not understanding when it was explained to him that for some unknown reason the local service agents couldn't access my reservation on the original pick-up day. Everything was fine with my reservation after this initial hiccup, but no apologies or discounts or any acknowledgements whatsoever were offered by anybody associated with Uhaul. Very poor form.

Do your maintenance proactively. I'm sure the truck will go out again and pollute more, before someone does the maintenance. Overall good experience. Nice equipment at a reasonable price. I will be back again, Thank you, Uhaul. -John Coelho.

The staff were nice, but you only get to talk to them in the store. I lost my phone and house keys in their truck. They only recovered the keys. Attempts to call them were hindered by always reaching the call center. This was during their business hours. They rented out the truck, and never got back to me about my phone. I tried to save money by moving some of my things myself. Having to buy a new phone negated any savings I could have realized. The call center also set up my reservation to end after the store closed. I was standing in the bed of a pick up truck sweeping it out per their request at night on a deserted street. This whole thing could have been avoided if I was allowed to talk to the local people who work in that store. I could have learned when the store closed. I could have asked someone to unlock the truck, so I could get my phone and keys. I would not have had to be afraid in the dark. I would not have had to wait two hours the next day at the cellular phone company to buy a new phone. This was a very costly and inconvenient experience.

Tires were at 90 psi instead of 80 and tires were from 2008. When a tire blew out and I was stranded for over two hours, the general manager was aggressive and would not waive our fee. It was a terribly frustrating experience. I am now a former u-haul customer.

I picked up my uhaul and drove it 1.5 miles to my movers. As it turned out, I didn't need it as part of my contract was to have the moving company finish the move. I drove the truck back within an hour and with just under 3 miles on it. I explained the situation and was charged almost $60. I understand charging me for the truck, but they also charged me for the 12 pads that I had rented. I never even opened the truck, or the bag of pads. They said that it is corporate policy to charge if I took the pads "off property". They were still in the sealed bag! I would like the credit back on the pad rental. Thanks!

The trailer was very clean and fully functional, however, one of the trailers tail-lights was pushed inwards and not sitting securely in it's mount. The tail light was fully functional, but it did cause me to speculate on whether or not it might jiggle and cause me to incur a violation for lights not working. THe customer service at this location though on pickup and drop off was excellent. Very friendly staff. Just wish they would have fixed the tail light prior to renting out the trailer.

The location is too congested!!! There is not enough space for the number of trucks and trailers kept on the lot. Also, the one entrance and exit are poorly located and add to the congestion problem. Highly recommend expanding to a larger location, storing some of the inventory at another location or somehow reconfigure the lot for better flow. Almost need a fulltime person to manage parking around the storage facility and returning vehicles.

I would appreciate friendlier staff and maybe not having equipment loaded into the truck and held by zip ties in an attempt to tempt me to use them when I didn't order it. The dolley and furniture pads loaded on my truck took up valuable space that I paid to rent but was robbed of. I should not have to arrange my stuff around things I specifically said I did not want.

There is VERY limited customer parking which is now being used to market "that U-Haul rents trucks" by parking them there and customers are directed to park across the parking lot and hike to the building. Your U-Hual.... people know you have trucks they don't need marketing ESPECIALLY at the expense of keeping you customers happy.

Lady that opend on Sunday did not lock the trailer down to the ball and when I got to sandpoint the weight of the car foxed the trailer upward. And when confronted she denied it was her fault and blamed it on me. Customer is always right

The only thing that I can say that was a little bit of an inconvenience was that the truck was not completely filled with gas; it was just over 3/4 of a tank. Not knowing how many miles to a gallon I was going to get or how many gallons a quarter of a tank is when I was filling up at the end of my trip/day I ended up filling passed where it was at to start, therefore, I paid more in gas then I fill I should. It was no big deal really, though it would of been nice to have the tank full so it was obvious to where the end point on filling up should be upon returning the truck. Other then that it was a great price and help to make my move thank you.

I am an active duty soldier stationed out of state. Tried explaining this to the manager because my license shows expired but its not in the system because my state has a policy that until I leave the army it dosnt expire. Manager was rude and after I explained my situation told me I was no longer in my state and that my license had expired. Maybe the managers should be trained that different states have different laws. Didn't seem like he was aware nor how to be polite while dealing with someone.
