I made a reservation for a car hauler online. The online reservation was apparently made for 9:00am. I had some delays in obtaining a pickup truck to pull the trailer and subsequently showed up at 11:00am to pickup the trailer and was informed that my reservation was cancelled because I didn't show up within an hour of my reservation. I didn't receive a phone call, email, or even a text message from Uhaul with any concern about whether I was going to pickup the trailer. I was put in a very difficult position, with my entire plan to haul a vehicle now put into jeopardy. The best the Uhaul representative could offer me was to call the 1-800 number. I was furious and very disappointed.

Came in first thing Sunday morning & there was 1 person working the register, with 5 people in line. Customer at the register had a problem & it took 20 minutes to solve it, while everyone else waited!! Not the first time & not out of the ordinary. Very poor service.

the guys that worked here were very nice the problem is the location, it is VERY busy in there and it seems the lot isn't equipped to handle the business they receive there. when we went to drop off the truck my husband was stuck 1/2 way in the street and almost got rear ended because the lot was so full of trucks being returned and trucks going out, it seemed like there wasn't enough people to handle the business.

The equipment was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful. My major issue was with the checkout process. I showed up on time to pick up my reservation, stood in line, then was told I would need to go out to my vehicle and have the trailer hooked up and tested before I could begin any paperwork. So I went out, waited for an employee to hook everything up and check the equipment, then had to come back inside and wait again in a much longer line. By the time I was finished waiting in line for the 2nd time, the computers were down. I noticed people that came in after me were finished and on their way because the person helping them took care of the paperwork and then went out with them to hook up the equipment and do a final checkout. At this point I have waited in line twice and now had to wait for service to the computers to be restored when instead service should have been switched to a manual paper process. I was finally able to depart with my rental well over an hour after I had arrived. I understand unexpected situations can arise however I feel that much of this could have been avoided or handled better. Had my checkout been processed like everyone else's I would have been finished within about 10 minutes from my arrival, instead of over an hour.

I waited over an hour for my truck. I was told I couldn't have a truck because it wasn't available. Then I found out there was one but it went to a uhaul employee. Then the service center lost power and after an hour I gave up that I would be able to relocate. I would have to get 2 uhauls. Finally the truck came in and I must say it was a horrible experience. I have never had a problem renting a uhaul. It was DEFINITELY not the employee's fault but it is uhauls fault. Next time I will check out moving companies and your competitors. You all gave me a stressful situation. Thank goodness for great employees or else you all would be out on your butts with no customers. And yes I will have to relocate for my husband's job in 2 years and yes I will think 10 times before renting from you. You all need to step it up. Just my opinion if it actually matters.

I hope never to have to use u-haul again. You charge too much. Hidden fees. I don't like doing business with companies that are just looking for ways to get into my wallet.

Though everything was "functional" truck was old showing all sort of wearing... gas mileage was way below average for this kind of truck we though due to age of it. Service was also average. Workers mostly were not speaking with customers doing their job (good) but customers didn't know what to do "next". I've seen few people hanging around on return, not knowing what they have to do. It would be super simple to fix having person on return saying to client - " OK, I got your car, stay here and wait for me to check your truck.. I will take just a few minutes."

Attempt to keep the day laborers back a bit at the front gate. After picking up the 20 foot truck I rented, I was attempting to pull out onto Monument Blvd, but could see oncoming traffic due to one of the laborers blocking my field of view.

On this visit we referenced our last reservation, wherein we did not receive the size of truck we reserved. We asked about the $50 guarantee if uhaul doesn't have our truck and we were told that it didn't apply to having the wrong size of truck, only if we can't get a truck at all. But upon further review, your website clearly states that we are due $50 even if you guys just don't have the size we reserved. That was my only really negative comment about anything, experience-wise. I'll send a contact form separately.

Make sure that if a change is needed in the order that the money from the first order is not held 5-7 business days.it makes it difficult to continue with moving plans if UHAUL is blocking the money from being used by the customer.

To be honest the only way you could have made the experience better would have been to come pick me up from home. The process was fast, smooth and professional. I remember the old days when it took 20-30 minutes to pick up even if you were the only patron and even then you weren't guaranteed the vehicle would be at that particular office or even the specific vehicle you wanted. So this was a very pleasant experience. After reserving on-line I got an email updating me that I was guaranteed the vehicle that I reserved and the time I chose to pick it up. Then, picking it up was a breeze. I was the 3rd person in line and I was still in and out in under 20 minutes. When I turned the vehicle back in I only had 27 minutes until the bus was scheduled to arrive down the street. I was greeted outside for the check-in. I walked into the office and made it once around the room just browsing and the guy came back in to let me know all was OK and I had some money coming back to me. He sent a gif copy of my receipt via email. He also printed out the receipt and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes! That's not a typo TEN minutes! I don't ride the bus often so I was quite happy because of my tardiness I had expected to be running for the bus instead of waiting for it. Even if they don't pick me up, my kid's going to be doing a more permanent move soon to the Bay Area and I'm sure that I will be using these guys again.

Took my information and more money gave me my receipt, Then left. Didn't help with unhooking the car from the trailer. Thank goodness I had someone with me (teenager who doesn't drive) to get under the car to make sure everything was disconnected and gave me instructions on backing off the trailer. I was shaking and scared. I'm a senior and this isn't good customer service.

The customer service was great! Jorge Figueroa was very helpful with our needs. I recommended him to my friends that will be moving in 2 weeks. However, it was a disappointment to find out that Jason from EAlert customer service at 877-653-0490 was extremely rude and unprofessional! In all the years my family & I have used UHaul services I have never experienced such behavior! This is bad business for UHaul! Apparently, this kind of behavior has been happening frequently lately with customers as well as the employees at that work site.

We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to get to an agent, so maybe more staff. However, we had a great experience. We checked in online so it didn't take long to get through the process. They had the truck ready as we requested, we were running a little late so the agent pushed out time by like 30 minutes to make sure we got the full 2 hours we needed it for. The 8ft pickup truck we rented was brand new with less than 1k miles and really clean. The gas mark, and mileage matched the paperwork exactly. Upon return we were processed very quickly. They had multiple people receiving vehicles. Also the employee was able to do all of the return info directly from an app on their iPhone so we didn't even have to go back inside. I would rate my experience as a 9.5/10. I would have given a 10/10 if the wait upon arrival was shorter. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

When I left the facility, I made it about a half a mile and the trailer jumped off the hitch. A quarter mile farther and I would have been traveling on the freeway. The guy who hooked it up neglected to lock the trailer on the ball after insisting that I stay away and allow him to connect it since he was an expert. This resulted in damage to my truck. Needless to say, I would never recommend anyone to this location.

This was not my initial pick up location, but the wonderful customer service people on the phone were able to transfer me here and I'm grateful that they did. This location was busy but the check in process itself was easy and they still checked me out even after they were technically closed ( for 3 minutes!) My only hope for improvement would be having furniture dollies at this location!

Polar opposite of pickup location. VERY organized, efficient and helpful. One employee checked the mileage and fuel level and the equipment in general while another employee assisted me with getting my car off the trailer. I was extremely happy with the easy drop off procedure after a very long drive!

The gas that was in the truck when I received it was less than the amount that I was charged for. The employee who inspected the truck when I turned it in had 0 customer service skills.
