Need more staff to assist with renting a truck. On Sunday 7/27 it took 1-1/2 hour waiting in line for someone to assist me and I had a reservation. The staff are great they just need more staff!

I had an online reservation to pick up a truck at 9am. When I showed up, I had to stand in line for an entire hour in order to get the truck. I won't be using U-Haul again because of this.

I made a reservation for a truck rental 2 months before I needed it. I lined up able bodies and had a plan in place to move the contents of my house to another city 50 mile away. A month before my reservation I received a phone call telling me my reservation was lined up and ready for me on Saturday. I called the Concord office back and told them they made a mistake, my rental was for July 19, not June 19, they fixed the problem. Then: Two days before my reservation date of July 19th I received a phone call that the 26' truck, which I reserved two months ago, would not be available, I was down sized to a 20' truck. I had to make three trips, pay for the extra gas, mileage and bridge tolls. Why was I not informed in May, when I made my reservation that there was a possibility there might not be a truck available. I used U-Haul because I was moving on a budget. That budget was exceeded because U-Haul could not keep their commitment.

I made the reservation on tuesday for sat pickup and went to the concord location on friday to make sure sat pickup and they said no problem but they called me on sat 30 minute before my pickup time and send me to Antioch and I was very upset. Concord location employees sucks!

When I went to pick up the truck that I was promised at this location I was told it was not available, even though I reserved it 2 days prior. I watched as 2 people that came in the store after me were given trucks as I was told that If I wanted a truck I would need to drive 30 minutes away to Antioch in order to have a truck. Terrible customer service.

Staff were very friendly professional, and helpfull. On a side note...they could use a soda vending machine for customers and staff in the lobbie. It was hot as sadies outside and a refreshing cold drink option would have been great. :)

1. Had to wait a long time to get trailer because there was only 1 agent processing orders. 2. The 12' trailer I was promised and booked wasn't there...."computer error". So I had to leave household items behind requiring another trip from Danville to Rancho Mirage. 3. The small trailer had problems with the right tail lights and turn signals.

I called in 3 times and all 3 times they could not find my reservation by my name. The rental truck was very dirty on the outside, windshield was not washed. You have a sign in the truck about saving $25 for clean returns.

This was an after-hours drop-off so I can't really comment on much except: 1. The dropoff instructions were somewhat unclear, but my vehicle was processed without issue the following morning so that's good. 2. Not sure if this is typical of a Sunday evening, but there were so many vehicles being returned, they spilled out of the driveway and you had to get creative on where to park the vehicle. Recommend a better layout to handle this.

I had reserved a 24ft Truck, and confirmed it two days in advance. They did not have the truck and I had to travel to another city. They just said too bad and took off $50. I however lost hundreds in what I had to pay my movers for the extra trip I had to take. The guy who helped me at the end was good. The computer tried to charge me a wrong destination drop off. Total Bullshit.
