It takes too long to check in to get the rental and it takes too long to check out when you bring it back. It doesn't matter if you are renting something or just coming in to buy boxes, etc. It takes too long and we dread that part.

understaffed, often empty front desk leaving patrons waiting for extended periods. I found a note on my checkout paper that was not disclosed at checkout for an UHaul repair on the truck I rented which asserted responsibility on me for water damage due to a non-permanent tape repair.

Pierce, the employee that we worked with was extremely helpful. He offered suggestions which made our rental more affordable. For example, we learned that if you let it be known at the time of pick-up that you anticipate driving over the allotted mileage, U-Haul can authorize some 'extra' miles at no charge. Thanks Pierce!

The wait time when returning the truck was quite long; I was finally told to just leave the vehicle and they would email me my receipt - but not after I stood around for almost 15 minutes. Why not tell me right away?

William was on task, friendly and helpful while assisting 4-5 customers. He was very understanding regarding a problem that was making it difficult for me to return a trailer on time and he took time after I left to follow up on getting me on the mailing list for a free month of storage rental.

I was in Corvallis to move my granddaughter and she assumed we could do it with just cars, never assume. We needed a truck and your employees came through for me with flying colors, a clean truck ready when I got there to pick it up with a moments notice. Thank you very much, without them it could have been a very bad day.

First of all, I will never use UHaul again. I made a reservation a week before my move. Within the first 24 hours I got a call saying I needed to change both the equipment I wanted and the location to 45 MILES away from my location. SECOND, I received a total of 5 phone calls to change my reservation, they changed my equipment twice, I waited for my RESERVATION for an hour past pick up time because there was ONE employee. I was overcharged, underdelivered, annoyed, frustrated and angry. FURTHERMORE, there is a giant billboard outside saying "guaranteed reservations" which is a load of crock apparently. Not to mention the employees promised my queen size bed would fit in a cargo van, which it did not, AND the employees forgot to give me half my paperwork. I will never use your service again, and I will urge my friends, family, and coworkers to do the same.

I reserved a 15ft truck a week prior to my moving day. The day before I was supposed to move I received a phone call telling me the truck I had reserved would not be available. I was given the option of going to Salem to pick up a truck and bring it back to Corvallis. I wasn't going to waste my money in gas getting to Salem only to have to back track. After about 45 minutes on the phone, I was given the option to rent a Cargo Van. A Cargo Van would have required me to do multiple small trips instead of one large one, because of this we settled at a discounted rate of 0.59 cents/mile instead of 0.79. I was moving between Corvallis to Monmouth. I had a new reservation for a Cargo Van now. The next morning I got to the U-Haul site and waited about 20 minutes before I was helped. After the paper work came out, it said 0.79 cents/mile. I told them I should have received a different rate and they said they would fix it. He then told me to tell the guy I was retuning the Van to and he would change the charges. Okay, I was a little suspicious, but I went with it. They pulled up my Cargo Van, I did the remaining paperwork and I was off. I had to return the Van with a full tank of gas. When I left I realized the tank was bone dry empty. I was a little pissed off. When I got to my apartment, I looked over the paper work and saw that it said the van was given to me with 411 miles on the dash, I looked on the dash and it has almost 1200 miles on it. I then looked at the equipment number ad verified it with what was written on the Van and realized they gave me the wrong van! I went back, told them and they played it off as no big deal and just gave me the correct van, even though their mistake already lost me almost an hour of my time. When I returned the Van, I told the guy about the rate I was told I would get and he told me that he would change it. When I got my receipt, I realized he didn't do anything. I was charged full price. So, U-Haul made my one trip move (I was originally to drop the truck I requested off in Monmouth) turn in to multiple trips and a return trip to Corvallis to drop off their van. They charged me through the roof for a moving trip that was supposed to me significantly cheaper. Most importantly though, they wasted numerous hours of my day making me drive multiple trips. It also irritates me that they waited until the last minute to tell me my reservation wouldn't be available. I wasn't even able to use a different moving company, because they were booked. I felt very scammed by U-Haul and would suggest to people they try elsewhere. They have some very incompetent employees.

The staff was moving at a snails place, answering all questions, and not moving the line along. They had a 15 person line and a 30-40 min wait time just to speak to a person.

It was run by a group of kids that didn't know much about what they were doing. They were constantly asking for help from their manager and at one point nearly charged me $300 extra dollars.
