Make sure you check your mileage in AND out. They must have transposed some numbers because they charged us for 45 miles, I google mapped everything we did I could barely come up with 35 miles. Ended up being more expensive then anticipated since it was a late saturday drop off, too late to call them to complain

John was very helpful when I picked up the u-haul. He called to let me know about my 1pm appointment even though I was 2 hours late but he managed to move my appointment up so a truck would be available upon my arrival.

First of all I had schedule a pick up in Pacifica, CA and three hours before I was suppose to pick up the truck I received a text stating that my reservation was moved to Daly City. Why was this done a few hours before pick up and not the day before? Bad customer service and disregard for the customer and consideration for their time! I also had prepaid for supplies and was told to go to the Pacifica or Bay Shore location to pick up my supplies by the woman who checked me out. Are you freakin kidding me?? That was utterly the worse bad and rude customer service I have ever received! Why would I drive 10 miles away to pick up supplies, waste .99cents a mile when the Daly City location can simply give me the same supplies!!! Ridiculous! I did not deserve that treatment by a stranger, I paid for the truck and rental. This location needs to implement and practice better customer service, common sense, train their employees on how to deal with customers in a better manner and be a bit more proactive with the customers. Instead I received rude, condescending and bad customer service. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I rather rent from a competitor instead using U-Haul again. Thanks for a BAD first experience with U-Haul!

The agent was 8 minutes late arriving at the location. The tardiness only worsened the experience as several customers had to wait. I got my truck at 9:38. I was disappointed.

Terrible experience. I called and scheduled a pick up for 1:00 the next day after being put on hold for over an hour while the employees laughed in the background. The next day when I went to pick the truck at 1:00 and there was a group of employees sitting in the main lobby. I stood around for a minute until one of them said, "come back in 20 minutes." I explained to him that I had an appointment at 1:00 and they replied, "we are on lunch come back later." I waited 30 minutes and went back, finally they gave me the keys and didn't even take me to note any prior damage to the truck until I asked them to. The truck was extremely dirty inside and out and a lot of the existing damage was not indicated on the vehicle. Also it was parked on a hill so the gas gauge was not reading accurately. Fast forward to dropping off the uhaul. I parked the truck in front and the same guy who was extremely unprofessional and RUDE took the truck did a burnout and parked it in another area. I told him that I added extra gas and asked if I could be reimbursed and he said they didn't do that. My brother explained that he had dealt with the corporate location in a similar situation and they did reimburse the extra gas and the employee said that since they were a franchise they don't do that. This was the WORST customer service I've ever had. I've never had to deal with someone so rude and unprofessional in my life. I will no longer use service from that location ever again regardless of conveince and will be trying penske or budget on my next move.

The receptionist is very efficient and smart. She had the vehicle pulled before I stepped into the office. She explained everything clearly. The only thing I am not happy about is about the fuel tank. It should be fully filled up so that when I return, I just need to fill up the whole tank. I hope this can be improve when I rent next time. Thanks.
