The lady that help me on 10/12 was excellent even though she was the only person there working and she had a lot of costumers she was very efficient , professional..it was the best service I ever had in that location ..even when it was fully staff. She also made a note that the van was not properly clean and apologize for that she was really good.

When I ordered the Uhaul I was given a choice of location, size of truck, and my choice of how to be contacted when the order was confirmed, and offered a $50 discount if these were not met. I ordered on Friday for a pickup on Sunday. So to begin with I was never called at all, figured maybe it was just an oversight and headed out to my new house to set up some things then to the Uhaul pickup location, when I arrived no one was there and the place was closed so I called the Uhaul hotline and they said well we had to upsize your truck because the size you ordered is not available which I did not want because the bigger the truck the harder it is to drive around and more gas it eats up but on top of that they changed my pick up to a totally different location in Dayton, Ohio out by my new house which if I had been called would have been okay but instead it cost me at least 1.5 hours and made it so I could not get completely moved on Sunday like I had planned as I only had help for a certain amount of time that day. On top of that because I had to drop off after hours they have a hold on my bank account for 25 more dollars then I owe and when I called to have the 25 released back they say they can't do it over the phone I have to drive back out to there location to have it done which is a big inconvenience with my work schedule as they are only open til 7 PM. All of this could have been avoided by a simple phone call I was promised, so when I asked a phone rep about the discount I was promised of $50 if my order was incorrect or unprofessionally carried which in both cases it was not based on incorrect truck I asked for which was real pain and no phone call he said I should be able to get that but would need to call where I picked up the Uhaul. So I called where I picked up the Uhaul where he told me I had to come out to have the overage given back and said he would not pull any refund out of his personal money and I would have to call the call center so I started to see a theme of passing around the person who asks for a refund on there good business guarantee. Then I called the customer service line back and he said well we did not call you because we were busy but we sent an email which on the phone when i ordered the guy did not say anything about any thing about an email being sent if they could call because i asked to be called because it was difficult to setup the order to begin with because the online ordering was not working, so I just now check my email which looks like a standard email and say clearly your order is confirmed you have selected the 24 foot truck which is what i originally ordered and mentions nothing of a location change so even if I had been told I may be emailed instead; which I wasn't; it wouldn't have really informed me of anything important and would have just assumed like I did to begin with everything was a go. So when I explained this to the last rep I talked to he said in order to get this refund at this point I

The one thing I am unhappy with is that I was charged for driving 30 miles, when that is impossible. It was 13 miles at the most. I think u-haul had the incorrect starting mileage.

Understaffed and one of the reps had no clue what he was doing .. He did not acknowledge me when I arrived waited 5 min and had to request help.. He then went help someone else leaving me in line another 5-10 min before another rep came to help me get my truck.

Service was outstanding people who work at this facility were very professional and informative.Truck I rented was clean and in very good shape, I felt safe and comfortable that the unit was mechanically sound. Building and site was tight for space and traffic made it a little tough getting in and out of the facility but I would rent here again just for the service they provided. U-HAUL should be proud of the EEs they have working at this facility. Thank you, Mr. Daines

After arriving to pick up vehicle had to wait 10 minutes for the employee to finish what appeared to be a personal conversation with someone outside. Myself and one other customer went inside, only to have to come back outside to get help. Otherwise all went well and drop off was smooth.

The location forgot to put the rented furniture pads in the vehicle, and there were a set of keys and sunglasses in the vehicle that belonged to the person who rented it before me. The U-Haul employee disclosed that the previous family was locked out of their home overnight. The failure to clean the vehicle, and put the pads in, resulted in our need to return to the location twice, first to get the furniture pads, and then to return the keys we found. We left the sunglasses in the vehicle at the new location. They fell on my lap when I used the sun visor when driving. Chelsea who was working in the morning and was the person we interacted with throughout, was rushed and had a line when we arrived because of some issues that had been left to do from the night before. She was visibly stressed and initially short with customers. I'm friendly and generally in a good mood... and her service improved as the day went on. After the issue with two returns to the store, she advised that she was going to refund $10 for gas money. I'm not sure if it's been done yet, but it is a small (but kind) gesture considering the hassle of two returns to the store (which could have been avoided) on our moving day. As far as recommending, I would...but I'd tell folks to check that the rental was clean and that the equipment they rented was in the vehicle before leaving the lot. AND.... to go with some patience and a positive attitude. The same advice could be given to the location's staff...for improved service next time. I think she did her best under the circumstances.

Thanks for Chelsea for accepting the Cargo Van that was assigned to Westerville Self Storage. The Van was packed full of reusable books, magazines, CDs, to be sent out of state from the Lebanon, OH area. I did not know how much would be donated ahead of time. This is my first time to use a U-Haul Truck. The one I used looked to be brand new and very clean even though it had over 30,000 miles on it. I was very happy they were still open at 4:00 p.m. Thank you! Thank you!
