Look beyond the body of the vehicle. This truck engine did run rough when driven, and did not start smoothly after second overnight parking. Did make it back to U Haul yard after repeated ignition starts with accelerator use in "park" to get motor to warm-up and idle for drive.

They didn't have the truck reserved for us that we made reservations for. In turn we needed to make two trips instead of one... had we had the truck size we placed a reservation for we would have been able to do the whole move in one trip.

I didn't get the dolly I paid for and I was charged for 2 days instead of 1. I need a refund. I talked to Greta on Saturday and told her about the dolly, she said she would make a note on the file not to charge me and this did not happen.

learn employees how to use the programs in the computer so i dont have to wait to rent for 45 minutes just on my rental to check it out, also double check the the trailers to make sure they are tight on the hitch mine was not all most came off , i had to tighten it 15 full turns to make tight , also dont send texes to customer to return trailer to different location , when i returned it they couldnt pull up my contract , very sad that it took longer to check out and check in than i used the trailer , look at my times of rental, worst experence renting i have ever had , next time ill use a tow company with less problems to move my car if i have too, Roger duckworth

They did not tell me the equipment would give me all the trouble and gas I has to use to go 1000 miles. I use one before on the same trip and it only cost me like 350 not 760 I am very did happy with you all this time and will never rent from you again not my assistance

the drop off location was to far from here I live. I checked on line for the nearest drop of location for me when I got there I was told they were not taking any more equipment and had to go to the York St. not happy to drive all the way out there and had a hard time finding the place...lost a lot of time while I could have been unpacking.

Better trailers that are fit for today's highways, the trailer I had was an antique, putting lipstick on a pig doesn't change anything, it's still a pig. The rental area was rundown out dated. Looks the same as it did 40 years ago, just added computers doesn't make it look updated.

I received a call after only having trailer for about 18 hours and they wanted to charge me for another day because someone said I was returning trailer at 7 AM. Other than than it was a great experience

Have personnel available to help attach and unattach the trailer to the vehicle. My husband had to lift the trailer onto his Jeep Cherokee by himself and now his back is out. I would not recommend if someone was renting a trailer because of this.

I reserved a pickup truck more than 24 hours in advance(directly from the store not the 800 number). I was at the location on a sunday morning to pick up truck as scheduled to find that there was only one person working at the location and 8 customers in front of me. I waited over an hour & 40 minutes for my turn at the counter, to then be told the total charges would be $10 more than I had been quoted. When I mentioned this to the U-Haul employee, I was told "was it me?" I answered no, and he then said "well, I don't have to honor the price then. You can call corporate to complain; but it won't matter. U-Hauls a big company and they just don't care." If ten customers are reserved for 9:00am on Sunday, why not have more than one person working at 9 on Sunday? Perhaps send the one employee to customer training. It's NOT apropriate for a U-haul employee to anounce to a line of already fustrated cumstomers, that he's contacted his superviser, and when she's done having breakfast she'll call and see if he's still busy. He even went as far as to offer all of us customers his supervisors cell number, so we could each call her.

I want to make it perfectly clear that this shop is the only reason I continued my rental with Uhaul and will only recommend this shop to anyone else in the future. If I need rental vehicles in the future this will be the only place I will bring my business to. Bill Fuller was monumental in getting our truck problems resolved and us safely back on the road. Gary the shop foreman if I remember correctly had our truck fixed in an hour and a half once they figured out the problem and what needed to be repaired. The story goes like this. Our trip was substantially delayed due to a problem with our truck and the extremely slow road side service we received. A 2.5 hour wait for a service tech to get to us on the road who was really not able to fix anything anyway. After an hour with him and a few more miles up the mountain for the problem to show up again after the vehicle had completely cooled down from the wait. He determined the vehicle was unsafe to continue and they would have to tow us to a service station. Several phone calls and another 2.5 hours until the tow truck got to us we still did not understand why things were progressing so slowly and why we had to go back to Denver when Silverthorne was only 17 miles ahead of us. Several more people were involved by now as I tried to speak to supervisors to get answers and was not successful. As it turned out another 3 hours to get back to the York St service facility was in fact the best thing that happened. We were very frustrated with the situation and now an entire day was pretty much waisted. The move was 30 miles behind its starting point and a full day in time. Along with a day of work lost due to the delays as well. Another 2 hours of inspections problem diagnosing and several more phone calls to customer service trying to make a new plan or attempt to fix this one. Bill Fuller was getting bits and pieces of the problems and sensing our frustration. He was putting the pieces of the puzzle together to get the real magnitude of the problem. The shop guys were working on the truck to get it and us back on the road as quick as possible. Once Bill got the story and how long we had been dealing with this and the number of different people involved he took control to get the truck problem resolved. As it turned out we also needed to re distribute the weight in our truck and actually added another truck to the mix so we could travel to our destiny in Utah with out risking any safety issues or problems from happening again. For that we are greatly appreciative. At that point it was too late for us to start our move to Utah that same night. The next day we started our trip early in the am and made it to our destination safe and sound with no problems along the way! I know this is specifically because of The York St shop taking the time to help us, educate us and do what was the best thing for all parties involved for a safe uneventful move to Utah. Again for this we are truly grateful and th
