It was way to expensive for the mileage for a same day move I felt . The gas mileage was under a half tank when I got in truck I felt ripped off. However it did the job 300 bucks as I had to use a lot of gas....be ready for an expensive move If it is a 123 miles round trip.

We were supposed to drop off our ridiculously expensive rental at the Rio dell location but then u haul MADE us drop it off in eureka instead. Then they didn't have a storage unit for us. We will tell people to never use u haul.

On a reservation, I'd do a proactive check as I lost an hour as the got me a truck with lights that worked, do that before I get there. They were not able to clean the windows of the secondary truck, I had to do it my self, I am a bit handicapped.

I'm disappointed with your online reservation system. I reserved a trailer at: Arcata Petro Mart 3197 Alliance Rd Arcata, CA 95521 (707) 825-7882 master order number: 25513023 that you emailed to me. I received two calls after wanting me to call back. When I did they wanted me to pick it up a day earlier for a much cheaper price but I wasn't in the area. They never said anything about my reservation changing location. I called from the "reserved" location and the lady was rude and didn't listen but repeatedly talked over me. If u haul needs to change locations you need to inform the customer. You already had me on the phone asking me to pick it up from a completely different location altogether. Why wouldn't you tell them/me? I also tried to sign up for your express check in but it didn't allow me to. I tried to get help from your online chat but he couldn't help with that feature. Moving is never easy but always stressful as you probably already know. Why didn't I get the same discounted price because you offered?

Mr. Clark was wonderful. I however want to complain about a couple of items. Another employee mentioned that the week before they were giving tow dollys out for $. Not only did I have to pay $130 for mine, but, I had to go to another location to pick it up. Not convenient. Cost me time and money! Also, the truck I had, the steering wheel was on crooked, so for 900+ miles, I had to resist making the steering wheel straight to drive down the road. Very maddening.

I am very DISPLEASED at the obvious SCAMS going-on there: They deliberately ignore the extended milage rates from web-site until you beat-it out of them, then they very DELIBERATELY give you vehicles with lots LESS than a 1/2 tank of gas, making you fill-up 15-30 minutes after departure and nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get a gas gage back DOWN that low, thus I gave back $10 of gas, and they laughed at me. I could prove from speedometer saying $184 miles to empty, but they have a scam and are not interested in evidence. With no competition you get away with those SCAMS, but eventually some cleaner consumer FRIENDLY operation will END that crap. BR [Otherwise nice truck, at decent price, after I learned your "games"]

Contacted customer service to submit complaint and request reimbursement. Faulty equipment and gas gauge resulting in significant delay an extra day of rental and a late return. manager refused to return two phone calls and would speak about the issue when I returned the vehicle. Worst experience I have ever had and a simple one to solve with some basic customer service. I also asked that I not be charged until the issue was resolved which the manager did not do. I will be requesting a refund and filing another complaint with consumer affairs.

I thought the van was WAY overpriced and the dome light did not switch off. I had to call roadside assistance because it made driving at night quite difficult after a long day. I got no break on price either. The location seemed a bit understaffed too on Sunday's.

Great service and equipment. We rented the truck inexpensively for two extra weeks for storage before our new home was ready. Also, I recommend their 'moving help' for expert loading and unloading at both ends. D&D in Sacramento was excellent.

We weren't able to pick up our u-haul where we wanted to. We had to go two hours out of our way to get the u-haul since the company would not provide a u-haul at the u-haul station in the town we lived in. Given u-haul would not provide a 20' or bigger truck in Willow Creek and we wasted extra time of our moving to drive to Eureka and back, paying for extra gas, if I have a choice, I probably will not rent from u-haul again because they made it very inconvenient not letting us get a truck at the station 5 minutes from our old home.

U Haul Eureka was exceptional in customer service and equipment. Unfortunately, U Haul of Redding was terrible! U Haul of Redding failed to provide the guaranteed storage space we reserved, and, after Corp Customer Service provided 3 additional days with our rental to obtain storage elsewhere, we discovered additional charges to our credit card. Redding U Haul is NOT to be trusted in any manner.

The back of the truck completely reeked of marijuana, so now all our mattresses, carpets, furniture, and clothes stick! Totally unprofessional and completely unfair. Next time I will demand a different truck or go somewhere else.

They stated that they weren't going to charge my credit card and that I could pay cash when I returned the equipment. I extended my rental for one day and they only let me pay cash for last day. I didn't appreciate being lied to and not consenting to charging my card.
