Truck Smelled combination of POT and cigarette smoke. The signs say stay in your truck for an associate when you return equipment i had to go inside after 10 minutes. There was a girl and another guy working and this girl had a lineup of customers and no help from second employee. Truck once i got smell out was very useful.

We rented a brand new Ford cargo van for about 8 days. I LOVED that van. I hated to give it back! Check-out and check-in (late drop-off) were fast and hassle-free. Very nice.

I did place an online reservation for the use of a 26ft truck and when we arrived to pick it up there was a mixup with the truck that was planned for our use and the rep switched things around and got another truck for my use in no time at all. very pleased....

Store hours was supposed to be open at 7 am. I arrived to drop of truck at approximately 7:07 am and store was not open. Waited until 7:15 and then left, only to be charged for another day and after looking at emailed recipt saw they had noted drop off time was 9:49 a . Not happy with being charged another $118.00 for the poor work ethic of this location.

My truck kept rolling backwards and forward when on a hill even with the emergency break on. Also the appliance dolly wouldn't tighten down to hold the appliances on.

I had no problems with the employeesame but do have a problem with policy. I rented a car dolly with the intention to move a car I'm restoring to my son's house to sandblast. After further discussion with my son I decided no t to move it. I rented the dolly afternoon and called before 2 to let them know I decided not to use it. Since it takes over 20 mins. To get to u-haul and pick up the dolly and over 20 mins. to get back it couldn't leave the time necessary to make the move. I have also rented several times in the last year without any problems so I figured that would give further credibility that I didn't use it. I felt there would not be an issue with refunding my money since I had not used the dolly and had made u-haul aware very soon after leaving with it but was told there are no exceptions and your managers hands are tied. I would agree with that decision if I had the dolly long enough to use it then deceive your company and try to get my money back. I understand there are those people out there. However, I felt there should be the descrepency to make a refund in a case by case situation but was told that is not the case. I feel you may want to reconsider this policy with your loyal customers before they are no longer loyal.

We moved from one state to another. Ran into some rain during the drive. Our truck leaked and got a few things wet. U haul needs to better inspect their trucks for leaks.

The call center that I reserved my truck thru failed to tell me they actually reserved a van for me which wouldn't have accommodated the job I had to do. I was told I had a small box truck reserved at .59 cents / mile and $ 19.95/ day. When I got to the location I found out the van was what was reserved. The attendant told me there wasn't another small box truck available but gave me a 15' truck at the same price. However, I wasn't told when reserving my truck that I would be responsible for filling it with gas not top of the mileage charge, which I wasn't aware had stepped up to .79 cents / mile until I returned the truck. All in all between gas and the increased mileage charge I ended up spending $25 more than I anticipated. It is what it is and having the truck made the job easier. The call center failed miserably and the store had to deal with the issue, which they did. I'm pleased with the way the store adjusted my issue, but can't help but feel I wasn't fully notified of everything I was getting into. This made my additional expenditures unsettling because the problem came for the incompitency of the call center whom I couldn't speak with to compensate me for the screw up. Again, I was pleased with the store but am left having to suck it up and pay the entire bill even though I was blindsided in my opinion.
