Your mileage charge is ridiculous!! I needed a bigger truck but you didn't have it so I had to spend a fortune on mileage when if you had the equipment I needed I would have saved money!! Never again with Uhaul!!! Next time I move I will spend a little more to hire a moving company! I saved very little because I had to make several trips back and forth!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!

The truck I rent was an old truck(yr.2000) that's an 15 yr old truck that made me feel very unsafe( unstable and didn't have airbags), the gas gaged didn't work properly(the level wasn't reading it proper) and I paid the same price as if I would of been driving a newer and safer truck. Truck should be retired ( out of commission ) due to in safe to your customers. I love u haul but this was not fair I feel I should of paid cheaper

My wife and I scheduled a pickup with this location and accidentally scheduled a drop off at the same location. My wife called this location specifically asking if the drop off location could be switch and the representative said "no problem, just let us know when you come in". I advised the representative behind the counter he said that this truck that was being assigned had to be returned to this location and no exceptions could be made. At this point I needed to move and could not argue with the representative. I had no choice but to agree. This took me 30 miles out of my way and 2 hours in traffic. The inconvenience cost me an addition $60.

The renting experience was not great. The CSR would not allow me to change my vehicle at the store. I had to do it online to get what I wanted.

The location and the young men who assisted me were great. The scheduling of the pick up - not so much. U-Haul unilaterally changed my location and then the location seems to have changed my pick up time by 3 hours.

Equipment was clean but the vehicle had transmission problems. On many full stops, the transmission would shift into neutral and slip. This can be treacherous on inclined roads and hills in traffic. After a full stop and trying to give gas again, the truck would just roll backwards until finally engaging to move forward. Transmission should be checked.

Of all the rental options, I get the chance to rent a truck or car and if I bring it back with more gas, I get a credit for the amount of extra gas. Not something your team does. Although a small return, the customer appreciation goes a long way. Secondly I needed to return the truck a few hours later than I expected due to heavy traffic and it was very clear that I had to pay for a whole day and had to keep the truck for much longer than I needed. Two small things that could go a long way in the customers decision when choosing Uhaul or one of you competitors.

I would prefer to receive the vehicle with a full gas tank. This way I would just fill it back completely on return.

At the time I pick up the van, I noticed that the gas meter is different with contract, and I informed the employee immediately. Your employee asked me to mark it on the paperwork and they will revise it when they get the paperwork. Then I marked the correct oil level. Before returning the van, I already refill the tank by 1.694 Gal. I drove the car for 11miles and returned the van in the morning of 08/17/15 by night drop. When I receive email receipt, I realize they never revise the gas level and still charge me according to the wrong gas level. When I went to store to talk about this, the employee refused to help me. And say, because it is night drop, they can do nothing. When I mentioned, they can double check with the contract, the employee say they don’t keep the copy of contract, which means there is no prove of what I talked about. I still keep the copy of my contract and gas receipt. That can prove what I stated. I am so upset with this experience!!

The key stuck in the ignition and had to be thrashed around to get the truck started. The treads on the appliance dolly were stuck, rendering it useless. The employee I spoke to when I first arrived was incredibly rude. However, the employee who checked the truck when I returned it and finalized my bill was pretty awesome. He should get a high five. Oh, and your website should be more clear about the price per mile, and that they're more expensive on Fridays and Saturdays. My final bill was twice the estimate I got online, which was pretty shocking.
