My reservation was changed 4 times in 2 days, right up to 1 1/2 hour before I was scheduled to pick up. The final location was FAR from my desired pick up location in Bonita Springs. And, unfortunately this is not the only time I have had a very bad experience w/ U-Haul. I will be going to a competitor next move for sure- even if it cost me more....

Trailer lights supposedly worked upon leaving the site. Noticed lights DID NOT work when we arrived home for road trip. Brought back trailer. U-haul rewired our hitch, which they installed months before. Took them 2.5 hours to rewire. I requested a $20 refund for the inconvenience of WAITING while we should have been on the road. The Manager, Mike, claimed he couldn't honor that. I reminded him that a $20 refund and good referral was well worth a bad review. I WOULD NEVER refer anyone to their location. Definitely NOT good customer service.

the guy named Mark I've been with deal with him since he's been there I never knew any problems every time I'm going to be a code the way I wanted it was always there when I wanted so was your trailers and I always clean ok thank you

I picked up a car hauler and I found the staff very aloof and preoccupied. I told one woman that my oil light was coming on and she said, oh I'm sure its not a problem and if it is and you breakdown then call the 1800 # seriously! After pressing the issue one of the guys checked the oil and said its ok. I did make it to my destination with horrible LOUD squeaking windshield wipers 14 hours. After arrived 14 hours and having my car taken off the hauler..the person said, you ladies were very lucky and showed me that the car hauler WAS NOT TIED DOWN TO MR CAR WHEELS!!! I was driving a flat bed with a car that was just sitting on top with no tie downs for 14 hours through rain and heavy traffic! This is unacceptable. Your staff needs better training if you don't want to be slapped with law suits or kill someone on the road! I am not a complainer but I am a concerned and repeat customer! Or was anyway. Thank you

Make sure that the ball hitch is secured to the ball of the trailer. I discovered it was not screwed properly after arriving at my destination before loading my automobile for the trip north.

Pick up of the truck was fine. I was told that since I was returning the truck at closing time, no one would be there. I returned it a few minutes after closing and waited around for about 5 minutes because items near the maintenance area were still out and it looked like someone was there. After 5 minutes, I locked the van and put the keys thru the slot as I was instructed that morning for after hours drop off. As I was getting in my car, I heard two of the employees walking up towards the van and tried opening it and since it was locked, started swearing to each other loudly where I could hear it on the other side of the with my car running (note that there is a hotel right next door and there were people outside on their patios). I preceded to leave and one of the guys was walking thru the building to get the keys (I assume) and was just acting very unprofessional as he would go from the walled areas to where a window was and I could see him (pretty much like 10-13 yr olds act when they are smarting off). I felt that everyone I dealt with directly - lady at the desk in the morning and the gentleman that checked me out with the truck were nice, but the attitude and complete lack of professionalism of the after hours crew left a bad image.

it was the worse experience I have ever had. First, I ordered a 20 ft vehicle. when I get there, Mark gave me a 26 ft with a falling brake. on my way, i tried to get in touch with the store,they acted like they didnt understand me, I went back to the store Mark refused to change the truck and obliqed me to use it like it is.., He said" if you want to drive another truck you have to make a new order. and he added "you paid insurance on the truck dont worry if anything happens" I think that Mark didnt care much my safety,

More explanation of the equipment needed. Our loading door became stuck and we had to call for assistance...took two hours! It was a matter of improperly using the latch...which could have been avoided.

Truck was not fuel efisfisent!! Spent $473.00 in gas on a 1000 mile trip with your 15' truck, after paying $1333 just to rent you truck for a 1 way move... Rented larger trucks from you n the past, didn't pay half that amount in fuel!! When I returned the truck to 11401 Clevland. Ave. Ft.Myers Fl.their custermer service was very unprofessional by far, I rent a unit, that was made nearly impossible to unpack an store into the unit, with all of this being said I returned the truck on empty, refuse to pay the diferance on the fuel, as a disabled person paying for your service with my disibity visa, your misresupertatiin of fuel economy, highly unprofessional customer service in Ft. Myer Fl return stop, unavailability to make it easy to load my unit, I took photos, have fuel recipts, and feel this is a grievance U-Haul needs to honor...
