I reserved the truck 3 weeks in advance, I was supposed to pickup the truck at the Fairview lot in Santa Ana, I lived in Garden Grove. A couple days before the pickup they told me to pickup the truck in Fullerton a lot farther from my house. Your allowed 129 miles I was moving 129 miles away. A blinker was missing on the truck, the yard guy took over an hour trying to fix it taking parts off another truck. They sent me to their fleet service yard to fix it adding more MILES to my trip. I ask if they could deduct some miles, they said no. This was Ridiculous!!! Then you (U-Haul) send me a confirmation to pickup on the 29th and return the 31st before 2 o'clock, I returned it at 8:43 and you charge me 50 miles over limit and an EXTRA DAY!!!! 64 fu@%$&g more dollars!!! I have the confirmation e-mail stating this to be true. If you expect to have return customers you should work on TAKING CARE of your CUSTOMERS. Not telling them oh-well how do you want to pay!!!!!!! Home Depot or Penske will get my business in the future!!!

Answer your phones! I tried to call to confirm the location, since my request had been transferred from the location I had originally requested, and could not get anyone to answer. A recording kept saying that the system was not working!

Want to compliment James, who checked me in. He was checking in another customer at the same time, and he never missed a beat. He was able to alternate while we read, signed, etc., and neither of us had to wait. Excellent customer service. Checking out was also a breeze. :)

Very nice people but seemed to be overwhelmed. The staff made it an easy check in process and was out of there in ten minutes. No ac in the office area and it was hotter inside than it was outside.

Not enough people working there so wait time was long to get truck. A little scary pulling into location due to lots of day workers hovering car. Original reservation as in Garden Grove, ended up Fullerton location since Garden Grove truck had a door jam. Shouldn't equipment be checked before customer arrived to pick up? This was a waste of time for me the customer and so inefficient. I specified a reservation at a certain time and received confirmation for a certain location. Completely dissatisfied with Garden Grove location experience and delayed me by 2 hours. Also, why when I rent a fillet no blankets were proved? For the same rental price I paid in Fullerton for a dolley, the Tustin location provided blankets. Rip off.

There was a confusion with the number of dollies that I rented. Although I rented two regular dollies, the person to whom I returned the truck said that there was also a furniture dolly listed on my account, in addition to my two regular dollies. Yet I did not rent a furniture dolly at the original location. Consequently, UHaul needs to do a better job of communicating exactly what supplies that customers rented. The UHaul worker ultimately did not hold me accountable for the furniture dolly that I never rented. Not having this confusion would help to improve the customer's experience for next time.
