Double check reservation information. Update on site parking information. Train your employees in customer service. Don't threaten customers with police for an administrative error. Don't share my personal contact information with strangers Also, once again, I am not Rene Arroyo. I am Jeanna and I had a separate contract at one time.

The passenger side door could not be opened from the inside, as the handle was broken off. This should have been noted on the forms so that I would not have to be concerned that I would be blamed. Otherwise, very positive experience

Went to drop off the truck I was met in the roadway because the driveway was blocked with cones and told I had to drop the truck off on the other side of town at another location because they were full. On the way to the other location I called your 1-888 number and was told that the employee at the first location should have not sent me away and also the new location was not set up for after hour drop off and she sent me to yet another location which I could not locate. I called her back and she told me to take the truck to the first location and drop it off which I did and I called her when I arrived so she could tell the employee who sent me away to accept the truck which he did after talking to her. Needless to this situation cost me over a hour of my time.

More space, there is no room to park, you can't leave your car there when you take a truck.

This facility worked well enough to lend me a cargo van and there was no fuss when I brought it back. Simple

Traffic configuration in the parking lot made for an awkward exit . Could be from their large inventory.

I dropped off after hours and trucks were piled up to the entrance. Then I was charged 16.00 for gas but it was returned with the same amount given. I tried to call the store and got someone in another state saying they are just answering the store calls. No help at all.

Very organized, in and out in less than 5 minutes, never had to exit my vehicle. Just what I needed after a hard days move.

The CSR I delt with was very nice, efficient and a true gentleman to the lady ahead of me and whom was overwhelmed and emotional. One suggestion, when a customer orders a dolly, put a system in place to make sure it is in truck. I forgot mine and drove away without.

I waited over an hour and a half to receive my U-box and when I drove it home, I found that the doors were bolted shut. I went back and was asked why I didn't have any tools to open it (my tool were locked in the U-box) and had to wait until the next day to unpack because by then it was close to closing time. I slept on the floor that night because my bed was in the U-box. When I called corporate they did not seem to care at all what had happened.

I usually have no problem with U-Haul. This location did a bait and switch. I had reserved a van (reservation # 22575747). I had made the reservation with the U-Haul website. When I arrived at the site with my son, and presented my reservation number, credit card and NY State license I was told U-Haul no longer rents vans to out-of-state customers...."especially from NY as there has been much theft of vans". The job I had to do was not that big, so I though I would just make a few trips with our rental car. Anyhow, as we were leaving the rep stated "but I can rent you a truck." Not wanting to get into the nonsense of New Yorkers being theives, (and why a truck is ok to steal) I rented the truck...also I work in risk management with a focus on customer service - check me out on LinkedIn. Name is Richard Carris, CPCU, CLU, CFE, CIPA, CRMA, APA, ARM (By the way, the CFE stands for Certified Fraud Examiner...but I did not get this credential because of being a potential thief.) Anyhow, I rented the truck - which was kind of funny as an SUV would have fit the bill. It was silly running around a college town, University of Florida at Gainseville, with such a big truck. So, I returned it a bit early and finished the move with our car. Honestly, I was not comfortable driving the truck. While I have been driving for 40 years, my driving is very limted - as a "thief", of course I live in NY. I don't drive much - 3,000 miles per year for my auto insurance. While I never had one accident - personal or rental cars - I am careful - practice personal risk management - but that is also due to limited exposure of driving - I take subways and buses all over...in fact taking Amtrak back from FL to NYC. So, in the end, I think the U-Haul rep needs training, should not insult out-of-state customers, thieves or not from NYC....I can understand the thoughts - I do know there is crime in NY - but again, I did not realize I was one of the suspects! Anyhow, I made the $50 claim (Reference 926403). When I returned the rental truck, the same rep that had checked me out - checked us back in...seemed to forget who I was from 20 hours or so prior. I educated the U-Haul rep about the $50 liquidated damages guarantee. He said, in effect "no, we had the equipment but I was not elgible being from out-of-state". I said seems like a wrong Corproate Strategy - especially for a company engaged in the business of people and goods moving around the USA. This is not my business, but something, if true, should be evaluated by senior management. U-Haul is a great company - I once worked at an insurance company that insured U-Haul so know something about the company. Anyhow, besides the $50, the above story gives me a good case study I can now use...I have a cousin that writes for the NY Post but I am not going to tell him what occured - the bad press is overkill for what occurred - but please train your staff. Please foward this note to your risk manageme

Make sure your trucks have all the equipment requested because I had to go back to the location just to pick up a dolly that was suppose to be inside the truck. All the trucks should have locks on the back door. The truck I had did not have a lock so since I was moving my furniture inside it and leaving it on the truck over night. I had to purchase a lock for the door. They should have better communication with their reps because I talked to one rep about holding the truck a little while longer and she mentioned to me about the location offering waiving some of the fees. But when I talked to someone at the location they did not know what I was talking about and I had to end up calling them instead of them getting in contact with me like the rep told me they would.

Only complaint is that we had to wait longer than expected to pick up truck. However, the lady who helped us was apologetic and very courteous.

The man that checked in my truck was rude and unhelpful. I had a question about the mileage overage and he made absolutely no effort to assist me. VERY poor experience!!

I travel every 13 weeks as I am a travel nurse. This was by far the worst experience that we have ever had. We were to travel from Ocala, Florida to San Antonio, Texas. About 30 miles in to the trip, the axle on the trailer shifted, causing it to run into the second axle. A wrecker came to pick up the trailer, didn't try to fix it. We followed him for about a half-hour to a new location at The University of Florida. The store was busy, to say the least. We had to hook up to a new trailer, empty the old in the parking lot, and reload the new one, all while it poured rain. We are now in San Antonio and I am anxious to see if Uhaul makes this right.

You could release the holds on credit cards in a timely manner ESPECIALLY when a customer pays in cash. You could have better flow to the interior so that customers are not tripping over each other. How about specific lines designated for certain transactions so that everyone isn't waiting unnecessarily for a simple transaction?
