Don't call and try to extend a day because they give you bad info and add two days to your bill. And watch the mileage... they charge too much. Find a cheaper company.

The service was okay. I rented a pick up truck and I asked the cashier where was the nearest U-Haul to Long Beach she proceeded to look up the location and she said Carson & Cherry. Never once did she mention that Pick-up's must be returned to the location they were picked up. I went to drop it off at a different U-Haul and this is where I was told I would get a wrong destination fee of more than $150.00. So after putting gas in the truck, I had to drive all the way back to Gardena. When I reached U-Haul the gas was barely, below the point it was given to me. I explained that the cashier never told me I couldn't drop it off anywhere else. The inspector still insisted I put more gas in it. They never ate there mistake and I ended up having to pay. I wouldn't suggest using them unless absolutely necessary. They also hold you deposit forever. I am still waiting to get mines back after the 5 business days I was told.

some of your staff needs to be retrained in handling of customer concerns an focus on their jobs instead of some female customer rear ends very disappointed with this location . but on the other hand your location on western off of king blvd were overly helpful in helping me solve my towing issues kudos to that team they restored my faith in the name -U-Haul thank you much

The truck return process was horrible. I waited outside for 10 min for someone to come take the keys and check the truck. After no one came I went inside and waited in line for another 10 minutes. Once I got to the front, I was told to step aside and wait again whe she helped another customer who just walked in. When I pointed out the problem, she got an attitude, rolled her eyes and had me continue to wait. By the way, there was another man working the counter, so either one of them could have helped me (1) customer outside and the second employee could have helped the only other customer waiting.

Make sure the amount of gas in the trucks at pickup is the same amount on the paperwork. Verify the amount in the truck before you ask the customer to sign the paperwork stating the amount of gas in the truck.

Terrible customer service from the store manager when checking out truck and even worse when bringing it back. Paid for an entire day rate but was charged double when the truck was brought back same day after 3p because they "missed another reservation" this was never explained despite me asking if there would be a penalty. This location just has a under-trained staff and a poor manager. Use a different location!

I notice the customer service rep that assisted with my rental had already rated herself on my paper work. She write "Dre was good", although I did not have much of a complaint about her, I still would of wanted to fill out that part myself.

We had a reservation at another location (Normandy), but once we got there we found the place closed on Sunday for Easter!! We only needed a 10' truck, but there wasn't one available at Van Ness, so we had to rent a 14' at an additional cost since that was the only available choice and we had to move that day.
