I had the absolute worst experience with the call center. I called a local location and unbeknownst to me, I was transferred to a call center. I merely wanted to check availability but the lady on the other end was asking questions that should be reserved for renting the vehicle. I asked "is this the location I am speaking to?" and she explicitly said yes. After I had enough of the questions I simply asked if a 10' was available. She said I need to get more information from you" as if that's going to determine availability. I once again asked her availability and pricing. She cracked slightly, gave me a little more information and then kept asking me for more personal information. Mind you, I'm just checking price and availability. She refused to give up a price on something because I hadn't given her a certain piece of personal information to the point I asked her "how is me giving you this piece of information going to dictate the availability and cost?" Her response was a short, rude "look it's available but I need more information from you, that's how this works". I asked "I need to know if this is the location because it may be closed due to inclement weather and she said " you called the uhh.....(reading off her screen) 1234 Intended Location Dallas,TX." She lied to me from the get go. And then she immediately asked what credit card I wanted to use at which point I, admittedly used a word I am not fond of, ended the call. Hands down, worst customer experience. She was pushy, rude, impolite, non-informative and if it weren't for last minute, I would have gone elsewhere. I've worked in phone sales and am a rental coordinator at my current position and that was just unacceptable. That's a cancer to your business if that's the front line of who customers speak with when calling in. I called another location and was unfortunately transferred back to the call center where I spoke with someone who was acceptable. Still short on responses, both had "I didn't want to be here attitudes" and it was clearly conveyed through tone. At no point did either representative ask questions that would have allowed me to answer without giving information. I don't want to give you my to and from address yet. Just simply ask "Mr. Hess, will you be doing a in-city trip or will be going out of Dallas?" It's that simple. ***The physical location of my rental was impeccable and how the situation SHOULD have been handled. They were the saving grace in all of this***

The worst service Ever, I had 24 hr service and I couldn't get in , they transfer me with 7 or 8 different person . I got in after 2 hr.

As far as equipment being clean, it seemed to be a very old trailer and the locking mechanism on back was pretty loose. The trailer was not 'dirty' per se, but was fairly worn-looking on the outside. It served it's purpose for us traveling with luggage and equipment. I am glad that I used a personal locking mechanism for the door since without it, the door would open on some bumpy roads.

When I returned the truck it wasn't on contract but I did get charge for it. The tow dolly was more then I was told. They did take off some money for my inconvenience . I think it was a bad renter because the lost time and the smaller truck I had to work with.

Make sure sensors are good. Also make sure the website properly notes any truck size limits. I reserved a 20 foot truck, but got a 26 foot one since the site's policy was to only rent out 26 foot ones locally. The website should have known this. The checkout process also needs to be better integrated so I can just pickup the truck and go, not wait in a long line and go through all the things at once. I should not need a separate process after reserving the truck for this. The local manager did make things right be taking care of the gas for the rental, but that should not have been required.

This location charged me $25.00 extra for gas, when I had already replaced the marked amount of gas required when returning the vehicle. Taking my business elsewhere

Pay better attention to detail at beginning of transaction they assigned a local truck for a long distance trip and when they switched the trucks they forgot to put the dolly inside the new truck. We were pressed for time so we didnt go back to pick it up. This made the move harder, but overall customer service was good. I would definitely recommend this location to any and all customers in the Omaha area!

The two counter people were nice and competent but there were only two on a Saturday morning...no one to go get the vehicles so that the counter was left unmanned...the line was long...took us over 30 minutes to get our vehicle.

The general manager was very rude...i do not want to play the race card but other than him, there was only one other person working. My husband and I arrived at 11:15 and the other employee was busy with another customer. The general manager was off too the side. About 11:40 while still waiting to be seen another couple comes in. He immediately helps them out, and then after he helps them, he proceeds to help us. If i didnt really need the uhaul, i would have walked right out of there without it. Other than that situation every thing was kosher.

rented twelve online for $10.00 Uhaul worker behind the counter told me they where in the truck. Uhaul worker who pulled up truck and checked me out told me they where in the green bag on the wall. when I got the job location there where 6 blankets in the green bag. not 12. As a result in moving we broke 15 glass shelves. When we pulled out of uhaul there was so much we could not pull out. we waited 10 mins for a attendant to move trailers out the the way and pull out the incoming traffic lane. Did purchase online and confirmation check in to speed process. seemed to be no different than the last 10 times I rented uhaul. Good not truck did not break done.

I called to see about renting a pick up truck. The rep. I talked to was very courteous and efficient; a delight to speak with. By the time I got off the phone with her I had an e-mail confirming my reservation. When I went to U Haul to get the pick up truck I dealt with the General Manager. He, too, was a delight to deal with and also very efficient. It has been a long time since I have rented from U Haul. The reservation and return process has made incredible changes for the better. Excellent customer service in every way.

The vehicle was filthy. It had not been washed and we found someone's shaving kit and a nearly empty bottle of wine in the cab. I threw away the shaving kit and wine bottle. When the representative in the store called to verify phone numbers it would have been helpful if she identified herself as being from UHaul. The parties at the other end of the line were caught completely off guard and were very suspicious.
