I arrived to the place the salesperson was not to knowledgeable to what he had in inventory, went outside to look for my van and returned 20 mins. later to tell me that the truck was not there, he grabbed another set of keys & made me walk to get my rental which about two blocks away in the scorching heat, van didn't have any gas, I spent more time trying to get my rental than I spent returning it, finally received my rental almost an hour late,bad experience, will not rent from U-haul again, next time I will go to Home Depot instead.

I RENTED A AUTO TRANSPORT LAST YEAR FROM Y'ALL & 1 TIRE WAS MUCH LARGER THAN THE OTHER 3 TIRES. THIS IS A GROSS NEGLIGENT SAFETY RISK. THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY SAFTEY BOARD SAYS "IT IS ILLEGAL TO OPERATE A TRAILER IF THE TIRES ARE NOT ALL OF THE SAME SIZE." I CALLED CS & FILLED A COMPLAINT WITH UHAUL & ON THIS FORM. I ASKED YALL TO CALL ME. I NEVER HEARD FROM UHAUL. SO UNTIL YOU CALL ME I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT YOU BETTER INSPECT WHATEVER YOU RENT TO MAKE SURE THE EQUIPMENT IS SAFE. BECAUSE UHAUL DOESN'T & THEY DON'T CARE IF IT CAUSES A WRECK OR KILLS YOU.

When I turned the truck and trailer in to U-Haul, a young man at check in told me that I would have to pay an extra day because I was a few minutes late and then could not read the fuel gauge accurately. Little things like this do not leave a customer with a good impression. If it were my business, I would ensure the people who come in contact with the customers are bright and personable.

There was a lot of wrong information given to us at this location. When we picked up the truck, we were told by the woman at the desk to return the truck with 1/2 of a tank of gas. When we received the truck, it had just over a half of a tank. When we dropped it off we were told that we had to go fill it back up to the exact amount it had in it when we picked it up, even though we returned it at half a tank as advised by the original rep we worked with. We also received a call while we were using the truck from the girl who did our rental paper work. She had no idea which truck number she gave us, and needed us to stop what we were doing and read her the truck number. This location seemed very disorganized and made the rental experience more hectic than it needed to be. We won't be renting from them in the future.

Staff seemed pre-occupied. It seemed very odd that they required 4 different phone numbers (during initial paperwork) to reach me at. I would understand a primary and a backup, but 4 seemed ridiculous and excessive. At pickup, I was told to go “down there” (pointing in a general direction) and someone will be there to help me. No one was there. I waited for a few minutes, and went back in the store and they called the guy “again” to come help me. FINALLY he showed up. Then when attaching the trailer onto my car, he rammed the trailer tongue into my bumper!!! It did put a good scratch on the bumper. He struggled with the chains as if it was his first day. I actually had to ask him to step aside so I could properly and safely connect the trailer. Then on drop off, again, there was no representative at the designated “drop off spot”. I went in the store, no one seemed too interested in helping me, but finally when they realized I wasn't crazy and that in fact there was no one there, they said someone would be on their way…..eventually someone did show up. Ultimately the staff seemed VERY untrained and not very professional. I didn't have high expectations; however, this facility didn't even meet those expectations. Needless to say, I will not use them anymore. I will go to a different U-Haul facility regardless of distance from my home for future needs.

We rented 2 24-ft trucks from 1pm-9pm and they charged us two days on both trucks! That's frustrating bc it's happened before. The more infuriating issue that when we call we get passed around and leave messages for the manager and NO ONE calls us back! YOU screwed us and no one will make it right! We've been calling for a week and a half and Brian Massong WILL NOT return our calls. We've called about 6 times now and left messages, always promising he'll call back shortly. THIS IS A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME as I have to explain my situation EVERY time I call!! Not that yall even care! This is a customer service nightmare! This wouldn't have happened if Stephanie Bettis were still there!!!

Well we have 2 24-ft trucks rented out from 1pm-9pm and were charged 2 days on EACH truck. We were way overcharged. We've called uhaul about 6 times in the last week and a half and we've been passed around and lied to. We've been told on multiple occasions that Brian, the manager, will call us back shortly. He's never called back once. Completely ignores and blows off a customer that his company screwed! Unacceptable! We rent trucks there every week! We shouldn't have to call and call and call and leave messages and beg for a simple refund on what y'all overcharged us!!

Not sure everything was handled professionally from check out to check in the only thing I can say negative is the trucks gas lights doesn't register well i drove anywhere from 20 to 30 miles and I placed $30 worth of gas in the truck and it still didn't move so they charged me an additional $8.50 for more gas.

My particular truck rental didn't have a dolly nor furniture pads as the agent stated inside the truck. Went to the location a second time and had to wait for assistance more than 15 minutes, only 1 agent working at desk. When dropping off truck had to wait for check out more than 7 minutes.

Craig at the Garland LBJ location was great when it came to making sure that I had one of the best trailers for hauling with. He also noticed that at times we frequently use trailers from U-Haul and set me up as a frequent user to eliminate constantly having to enter repetitive information over & over.

The young lady was not well trained. Bringing the vehicle back I filled the truck up with more gas than it had when I picked it up. I ask for my mone back the lady told me I could get that back but, was willing to overcharge me for not filling the truck up. That is not good business. I spent more than what was calculated on the internet. I only had the truck for six hours so next time I will use someone else or hire movers less hassle.

Make sure employees hooking up the trailers or equipment have knowledge on equipment and dot requirements. One of your employees told me that marker lights on trailer did not need to work as long as the brake and signal lights were operable. This after i hook up to the trailer and the marker lights were inoperable. Well I didn't leave until all lights were working properly. But he was pretty convinced that they did not had to work. Thank you.
