The staff needs a little better trained on the procedures for picking up a vehicle. The mileage was incorrect and our drop on location was not entered into computer therefore a different location was text to me while I was at my drop off location and if the lady had not changed it for us we would have been charged another 70 dollars for not dropping off at location texted to me.. and we would have been overcharged on mileage that representive did not change in computer after he himself put on 80 miles picking our truck up....

25 lbs of air pressure in the tires - we inflated them to the proper level. It took 3 visits to the location to pick up the trailer due to previous customer not returning it. Staff there is great but corporate policies prevent good customer service. Consider adding a penalty fee to late returns especially in peak demand times. We reserved 3 weeks in advance so there should not have been an issue. No phone calls indicating a delay either. My advice to future clients is have a back-up plan

Picked up trailer and loaded Thursday night, got up Friday morning and trailer had flat tire. Spent 2 hours trying to get tire fixed. So much for leaving bright and early. Tire had no tread left. Repair shop told me tire should have been replaced "a long time ago".

I do not understand why my bill was $178 to go from Chicopee MA to Glens Falls New York, when I previously booked a rental from Chicopee MA to Glens Falls NY to Warwick RI. It was the same price. This does not make any sense. When I returned the truck I was not told or asked about the final cost.

My original pickup location was in Ticonderoga, NY. When I arrived, I was informed that the equipment I was to rent was not available at that location. I then had an hour drive to this location to pick up the proper equipment. The fact that the lack of equipment was not communicated to me in advance of my arrival at the location is unacceptable and ridiculous. Particularly in rural area, like where I live, the additional time and effort needed seems completely unnecessary in an era of quick communications. If there were other options in the area, I would not reserve with U-Haul again, but unfortunately they have the market cornered.

Please indicate all inside dimensions of your vehicles on your web site. Fortunately I checked with the rental site and they were able to change my reservation from a 14' to a 17' van the day before our move. They were very helpful.

I was promised my card would not be charged and I could pay cash. They charged my card anyway and defaulted multiple payments in my bank account. I couldn't pay my rent with the overdraft fees and am likely about to get evicted. Thanks Uhaul! Sincerely, Owen R. Steves (518)321-1523

Unfortunately, we were emailed and texted the incorrect information, so when we arrived at the location we realized that it was simply a drop off point and were not able to have any contact with personnel. We called UHaul and they gave us another location. The staff at this location in Queensbury gave us a handcart for free as well as allowed us to keep the Truck until Monday, if needed. Again, it was no one person's fault as, I believe, was simply a computer error.

I reserved a 26' truck 3 days before I needed to pick it up. However on the day of pick up, they only had a 14' available. My pick up time was 5:15 pm on 7/31. I returned the truck @ approx 1 am on 8/1. At 9:30 am on 8/1 a rep of tbis location called me to find out when I would be returning the truck and again on 8/2 they called looking for the truck. Both times I explained where I parked it when I returned it on 8/1 & that I deposited the key in the key return as instructed. Apparantly the truck was rented out 1st thing Friday, 8/1 morning & no one had checked it back in from when I returned it.

Will never use UHaul again. Had the absolute worst experience and dealt with incompetent customer service representatives. The online reservation is a complete joke and waste of time, and even the in-store associates said to never book online because there are always mistakes. However our in-store experience was not much better...we were sent to three different UHaul dealers being told the next location had a verbal confirmation the trailer we needed was there and waiting...that said trailer happened to be a broken/not logged trailer. We ended up being sent to our fourth UHaul before we could get the trailer we reserved days before....and the location was an hour and a half from our home . We spent the entire morning driving to pick up our reserved UHaul, we lost four hours or packing and gas money. When speaking with customer service about the terrible experience they transferred us around so much we ended up speaking with an associate in a completely different state...who again transferred us. By the time we were able to speak to someone, they were rude and could care less about the situation. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not use UHaul!

We dropped the u-haul off and waited 35 minutes to be waited on. The man went out to check the truck and came back in. In front of everyone in the place he says I am sorry folks but you have brought the vehicle back with far less gas then when you took it. I told them it is back the same as I took it 3/8 of a tank. I told him to recheck the paper work because it is circled on there that it is 3/8 of a tank. The man went back out and confirmed this, never an apology. I am going to say I will never recommend U-haul to anyone. If I never have to use these services again I will be very happy. We thought this would be a much easier experience than taking trips with a truck etc. It was not, and the cost was exorbitant.

My issue has to do with a hitch I had installed here on 7/12/14. The first time I used it was this rental. When the light harness was attached, it didn't work. I took it to a local service station which determined that the harness was installed improperly resulting in the wiring being destroyed when it entangled with the drive shaft. The repair was $150. When brought to the attention of the employees at return, I was told the manager would get back to me by the end of the day. They were supplied with the invoice for the repair. It I'd now four days later, and I've heard nothing... Bad customer relations.
