Great experience. Quickest I've ever been both checked in & out at a Uhaul. They're up-to-date in the regard to their use of technology in the rental process, which shows both professionalism and good customer service. Next time I need to rent, I'll try to do so from the Roper Mountain location.

This facility is in a bad location because of the traffic and no available parking on site. I would probably try to rent from another facility unless I was renting first thing in the morning to avoid the traffic.

Got an unexpected insurance charge on my bill that the company said they could not take off. Said it was the cost they had to pay to insure their vehicles. Total BS. Why don't they charge another dollar $ to pay the attendant that's screwing me. If they want to charge $4 for a $2 dollar box, that's ok. I have the choice of YES or NO. When you get bushed when you're paying your bill and you don't have a choice, i've got a problem. Rented from U-Haul for 45 years. Had problems, but never felt like i was screwed U-Haul will now be an absolute last resort. Sorry this took so long but I had to cool down. Richard Watson

I had scheduled to pick up my U-haul at 9. When I got there, I was informed that I would not be able to pick up my truck until 10. I made plans to have people help me move based around my U-haul pick-up time. Luckily I had not used professional movers, because I would have lost an hour of the time I would have been paying because the truck was not ready when I had it scheduled. If the truck wasn't going to be ready until 10, I should have gotten a call, or I should not have been able to select a pick-up time of 9.

I arrived within 2 minutes after my reserved truck was ready. When I walked in I was then told that oops we gave your truck away and they said they were you. I asked again what? The long and the short of the story is they made a mistake that ended in me waiting an extra 45 min while they found a truck. When I asked why this happened nobody had anwseres. They did go and get another truck but I lost out on 45 minutes of paid time that my movers has to wait on me. Then to top it off we made one trip and the truck cut off three times and would not accceralerate over 40 mph, after the first load was done. I just returned the truck. It was a waste of time and a terrible experience. I will definitely not use Uhaul again.

van was new, drove well. If possible vans should be more energy efficient. $16 in fuel replacement to drive 86 miles. picked up on full, returned on full.

I had reserved an appliance hand truck. When I arrived I was told it was not good to make a reservation online because no one ever checks to see if accessories are available. I was then directed to another location to get handtrucks. Upon return the place I rented the truck called the place I rented the handtrucks to see ifitwasok to drop the handtrucks at this location and they would not allow it so I have to drive a k to the second location to return just handtrucks. UHaul aleader in one way rentalls? I don't think so.

I made a reservation online but they didn't have it. I asked for a dolly & almost drove off without them putting it in. I was then given the wrong one which did me no good. A piece kept falling off of the driver window handle while I was driving, which was very dangerous. It kept going under the pedals. Truck was very dirty inside. I asked for the dolly charge to be taken off when I returned it b/c I was given the wrong one, but the rep would not take it off, even after I explained that it wasn't the one I needed & that they added it in the truck when I was already being dropped off so I was given the wrong one. NEVER will use this location again.

I would recommend it because of tge friendly staff, but I would warm them about the dolly scam! I did not ask for a dolly, but one was on the truck and positioned so that to get all of the big items we had on the truck, we had to move it. This cost me $10. Yes, ten dollars to move something I did not ask for, but was placed there as a convenience to me... Yet there was a cage full of dollies at the check in point. Seems that there should have been a truck without one that I shoukd have been rented. Nice move UHaul to conveniently take an extra $10/truck! Truck also gas some transition issues, grinding popoing and sliding in/out of gears. But we did get moved, so thank you for that. Wonder if Penske has that same "convenience" policy....

I think advertising $19.99 for a van is misleading. It doesn't make sense to me to post that but then have a mandatory $10 insurance. Sum it up for you and everyone I know a Uhaul $19.99 van will cost you around $50.

My experience with this U HAUL location took a turn for the worse upon vehicle return. Absent of Customer Service friendliness, was only then advised to read all signs posted around the building and packaging of supplies provided. Ultimately overcharged for supplies and walked away with an unpleasant overall experience.

I was lied to about being forced to pay for insurance over the phone. It was a ridiculously high amount to rent a truck for 40min and 15 miles as my total was 45$, not anywhere close to the quoted amount of 20~ as I was told on the phone

I was very disappointed with my experience with U-Haul and especially this location. The reservation I made (with Anya) was for Friday through Monday, but when I went for the truck, I was told that it was available only until Saturday. The Roper Mountain staff make no efforts to help me. In fact, during the hour that I waited there, I noticed they were uncooperative with everyone that entered their doors. I was on the phone and waited for over an hour to get this resolved. After we left the office with our truck, we were informed by someone at your call center, that a larger truck could be picked up for the same price. We were already on our way, and our very tight deadline was looming over us. I did not return that call or take that offer. I did not have time to go through the process, travel more, etc. Our weekend was VERY difficult because of the mistake your people made. I would appreciate a response and some remuneration from you. To answer your original question, you can be more responsive to the needs of future customers and take responsibility for mistakes your staff make. Thank you!
