They have no communication, they lost my trailer, then sent me something saying my trailer was returned late and 4 days after I had already returned it. Customer service can't even get ahold of them. Not a happy customer right now! Great location but not good customer service right now!

I was told when I made my reservation with customer service that I would be able to pick up the trailer in Diamondhead, MS and that I would receive a phone call to schedule the best time for pick up. Instead I received a text saying that I would have to pick up the trailer at a different location and was told the time not asked what would work with my schedule. Luckily the staff at the Gulfport location were very friendly and helpfu! I was extremely mad that UHaul had said my reservation was in one city but then it wasn't. This caused me to have to add extra time and gas to my already long trip. After driving 12 hours I didn't expect to have to add an extra hour and a half to the trip just to pick up the trailer!

Respectfully commenting:Rented a pick up truck and it wasn't cleaned; then the truck when given to me was literally on "E" had to go straight to a service station and the entire time worries that it would run out of gas. Lastly I had rented the truck for a week, after 1 day/ day and a half with the truck my son was hospitalized and medi-vac'd to a hospital out of state and I returned the truck. U-haul charged me the weeks rental fees minus $2.22 even with me turning in the truck way Way early. Then with the worries of my son I left my motorcycle ramp in the back bed of the truck( which I realize was my own mistake) however they never looked over the truck which could've spared me from leaving that behind. My thoughts to that was either an employee took it or they rented it out without checking "again" and the next person to rent it got it. Over-all very bad experience. Thank you for your time and listening.

This location was excellent. However my reservation was at another location, they arrived late and did not have the trailer I reserved. I was forced to go to the other to get what I ordered.

I'm very unpleased that I was charged a late fee when I turned the truck in the night before it was due. Sunday at 10pm instead of Monday 8am. Also when I started the truck it was not at 1/4 of a tank it was on E. I did go in and get an employee signature to prove it was on E. I do expect a change to the total when I call customer service in the morning.

Normally this is a very we\ll run center but manager was off and help is worthless. The guy that did the hook-up walked away without checking lights. I checked and found LH Turn was not working. Drove up to office with trailer attached and asked agent to check the lights. She signaled me that they were OK, I asked her double check the LH Turn as I knew it was out and she checked again and said it was not working. She called the guy that did the hook-up and he tried to start by checking fuses in my Rv. I advised that Rv signals were working but not the dolly. He than checked the connecting plug and found it Ok. That left the cable to the signal or the signal. I asked him to change the signal or bulb and he said he had no way to do that. Again, for second time in 3 weeks I had to connect my magnetic signals and not us the U-Haul signals. Normally I would not complain..but..I like U-Haul and cannot understand why equipment can't be checked out when it is returned and made ready-to -rent asap. My time is as important as the U-Haul staff, the difference is that I am not being paid to do their job. Additionally, I was supposed to receive a call advising that the equipment was in and ready to rent. No one called. I finally called and was told..Oh Yes, that equipment is here and ready. As long as I am complaining about stuff: The hook-up guy stood directly behind the RV (Class A) and tried to give me back-up instructions. When I cannot see a guide person, I STOP. I went back to tell him he must stand in my mirror vision and he said I should go to Wal-Mart and buy a back-up camera. I don't work like that, if can't see you I stop. Anything can happen to someone behind me and safety is #1. Without an active, intelligent manager, like Amanda, on duty things fall apart here. Best, Ed M

I am 80 years old, it would be helpful if the receiving agent would assist in removing the dolly from my tow vehicle. Almost every time I return a dolly, I have to do all the work myself, usually (except at a U*-Haul company store) the help refuses to help.
