The trailer had dirt in it plus there was a vehicle floor mat in it. We assume from a previous use. Plus once loaded it had a nearly flat tire. We took it to the pick-up location and had to wait 2 hours for road side to come fix. The desk person was empathetic.

The customer service was excellent. Unfortunately the steering wheel on the truck shook a lot as if the alignment was off and the check engine light was on when I picked up the truck. Also had a hard time getting the vehicle cranked

When I arrived to this location to drop off the vehicle I wanted to make sure that the problems with the truck were addressed. When I approached the manager, Amanda Williams, I could tell right away that her demeanor was less than customer friendly. I told her the problems I had with the vehicle and she proceeded to laugh in my face and say, "You should have pulled over and requested a replacement vehicle." While I understand that calling the road side assistance line common practice, I wasn't aware of this as I wasn't made aware it existed, not only that but I felt I shouldn't be punished for paying for a faulty truck and be expected to unload my contents in the rain and put them in another vehicle. From there she got very rude and aggressive. With her hands flailing around and her fingers pointing at me, she insisted I was to blame and nothing could be done because I should have followed the proper procedures. At this point the problem rose to not only the equipment but also her horrible attitude and behavior towards customers. I told her I felt she was being very rude and unprofessional and she once again laughed. I informed her that I was going to end this interaction and proceed by contacting the corporate office. She once again laughed and handed me her business card stating, "Here is my name. Nothing will be done and it will be forwarded back to me since I'm a manager." At this point I felt it was best to leave the establishment and no longer deal with this person. I spent the next week trying to resolve this issue. I called customer service on 4 separate occasions, each time being told that I would receive a followup call within 48 hours. It is now nearly two weeks later and I have not received any feedback whatsoever, and every time I call I am told someone will contact me within 48 hours. I do not understand how this kind of behavior is acceptable. I believe the manager was correct in stating that it would be directed back to her and nothing would be done about it. At this point I am requesting a full refund. My next step is to contact the better business bureau. I have supporting documents, proof of the faulty vehicle, and an eye witness to actions of Amanda Williams.

the people were fine, but the truck was in need of a lot of maintenance. Key wouldn't unlock doors. Ramp would not go in without extra effort and time consuming.

The person that checked me out this morning was great. The person that check me back in appeared upset that I interrupted his playing on his cell phone. He never did inspect the trailer and advised me to pull around to the back and "drop it". I unhooked the trailer myself. Maybe this is the correct process.

Employees were not friendly at all. When I arrived I stood there waiting until the girl who was texting on her phone looked up and asked what I needed. Not very good customer service. The truck was fine but it didn't come with a dolly which I wasn't aware it didn't come with one. I wasn't even given the option.

When the equipment (cargo van) was picked up the left rear view mirror was missing the top mirror. Since I was not the driver of the vehicle I was not fully aware of the problem until we had reached our destination about 12 miles away. We were on a tight time schedule and going back to the office to exchange the van was going to put us behind time. I called the office to report the problem and was confront with a belligerent young man named "Doc". I asked if I could be compensated in some way since I was paying for a van in good condition and it was obvious that the van I had was not. The young man was argumentative and told me the company would not compensate me that I could take the van back. I explained about the time schedule. He then began another tactic. His conversation appeared to be an attempt to belittle and talk down to me saying I cared more about money than safety. I stated this was not true. At this point because of his tone I requested to speak to his supervisor. He stated there was no supervisor available but he would take down my info and his supervisor would call me. No one has called to date. I understand that maybe my request may have seemed a little unusual but his response was inappropriate. If you're going to be in business dealing with the public you should know how to respond to requests in an appropriate manner that does not make your customers feel you'd rather being doing anything else. I did decide to go back to the store to exchange the van. Upon returning the van was not exchanged instead the mirror was repaired. I feel the mirror should have been repaired before renting out the van if it was such a simple thing to do. I don't feel this particular location cared enough to fix the mirror before sending it out. Or maybe they felt I would accept the van in any condition. When I went to the manager she did agree to credit me 10 miles since I had to come back. There was apology for the inconvenience just the comment that she'd credit me 10 miles and that $3.00 wouldn't hurt her. By the way, when the van was returned I was not credited the 10 miles.

The woman who we checked in with the morning of the 12th- the day we picked up the uhaul- was extremely rude in a passive aggressive manner . Upon arriving I give her my reservation number and asks me if I was planning to leave the uhaul at my destination. I told her, 'no' and that I was 'bringing it back so it will cost less'. She promptly and curtly replies with, "Well, that's not what you asked for" . I blew it off assuming she was just reading from our contract what the previous representative wrote in the reservation and was 'thinking aloud' . I replied with, 'Well, I made the girl show me the difference in prices in bringing it back or dropping it off at my destination...' - She then preceded to cut me off and correct my verb use by telling me sharply that I ," didn't MAKE anyone do anything' . I told her that , "no I didn't MAKE her, I asked her" . And the conversation went on from there. The whole time muttering how the girl who did my reservation was stupid.

The staff at this location went above and beyond to make my movING experience a great one. I had another location rent me a trailer that could not be towed with my hitch. When I brought it in to this location(fully loaded), the staff here pulled their resources and put me into a truck and tow dolly for my van. They then unloaded the trailer into the truck with us. If not for their generosity and kindness I would have been stranded with my 2 children and pets with no where to go and no money. The staff at this location should all be recognized for what they have done. Especially Amanda Williams, Courtney Turner, and Jason McClain.

I reserved a UHaul from a location less than 1 mile from my apartment. When I called them to confirm pick up time they informed me that they had no trucks. I then called the main Uhaul line and they told me there was a truck available about 9 miles away from me and I was able to pick it up at noon. When I arrived at that location they informed me that they did not have any available trucks and referred me to another location 9 miles away from that location. Finally arriving about 1 and 1/2 hours after my reservation, I finally got a truck. This delay was very inconvenient and the location ended up costing me additional gas and mileage. I have always used Uhaul with all of my moves, however, when I move again at the end of this month or beginning of the next I don't believe I will use your services. Please rectify this situation. Thank you.

slow service, charged me for additional day when I was one hour over and they took 30 min to process me (so really less than one hour late) Despite my calls and promises to hear from someone within 3 days, it has been over 7 days

First and foremost have a friendlier more professional staff. SEcondly, follow up with customer as stated that you will. I like consistency and honesty and I feel as if I was not heard from day one and then I was charged for something I did not do.

The only reason why I would recommend this location is because of Mandy! She at least tried to fix problems I had (and continue to experience) with my UHaul rental. She had a great attitude and was very accommodating. But problems persist!!! I will not be renting from Uhaul again. I will stick to PENSKE

I called ahead to this location at about 5:20, told them I would be dropping off the u haul in the next 15 or 20 minutes, apologized to them because I knew it was getting close to closing time (they close at 6), and also asked them if they had a dumpster because I had trash in the truck. They said it wasn't a problem and they did have a dumpster. I pulled in at 5:49 and as I pulled in I saw the man at the door see the truck, lock the door, and change the sign from open to closed. I understand they wanted to leave and it was close but the only thing I needed to do was drop off my truck. Wouldve taken them maybe 5 minutes to take care of me.

I was charged for 125 miles but there is no way that many miles were driven! We moved from Gulfport to Ocean Springs MS, and the driver picked up a helper in Gulf Park Estates MS. This equaled 50 miles round trip, 60 tops! I had a hired driver return the truck so I don't know if I can even dispute it. The location did not walk thru the truck with me nor check the odometer with me. They were extremely busy and short staffed when we picked it up and when it was returned. Again, there is no way the truck was driven 125 miles, and I have been overcharged a tremendous amount of money! I will never recommend or use Uhaul again, and I am extremely disappointed.

Your online booking experience was not good. First you tried to book me for a truck to pickup in Waveland which is about an hour away from where I needed to pickup. Then when I called the personnel was very helpful after I finally got someone on the phone, on hold an unusual amount of time. The pickup location is in desperate need of more personnel !
