I had rented the vehicle for three days. On the second day I received a call from uhaul stating that someone had rented the same vehicle and that they needed it early for them. This was very inconvenient and poor planing by the uhaul staff at the Jackson location. They guilt tripped me into leaving work early to unpack a large truck so I could deliver it 11 hours earlier then expected with no adjustment to my bill. The part that really bugged me was that I was somewhat threatened that if I didn't bring it in on time I would receive penalties even though I gave no indication that I would. This place left a very sour taste in my mouth. I will be contacting the manager about the incident.

The people on the front desk including the manager are not helpful. I am talking about your office at Jackson St., Hayward, CA. On September 23, 2014, I deposited the amount of $141.70 and rented your truck. In the afternoon I returned back the truck thinking that I could get back my overpayment. Instead I was asked to return the pads. Next day, I returned one pack of unused pads and cleared my account but I got $18.69, sort of $50.34. Today, October 9th, I was able to speak to your general manager and ask for my overpayment but I was made to understand that it was applied to the supplies I got. My question is, they did not credit me on the unused one back pad and your general manager was not nice to me as a client. Beside, how come that they did not credit me on the returned pads? They also did not explain to me that the $50.34 was used for the supplies which I thought it was included on the bills that I paid. I rated your branch office at Jackson st in Hayward including the personnel and the manager as poor.

This was a horrible experience!! I was charged for a Appliance Dolly and DID NOT have one. I called 3 different times to get this charge removed and it is STILL on my charge card!! I will let EVERYONE on facebook, twitter, Linkedin, google plus and other social media sites how bad U-Haul customer services is!! Get this charge OFF my card and the interest for this amount! BAD BUSINESS uhaul!!!

On site person tried to tell us we rented 2 trucks. He just walked away. Another person at the drop off stepped in and helped us return the truck. I would probably not use Uhaul again because of this.

I used vans a few times from this place and I think it's stupid that you always give us vans with half a tank. It's an annoying and obvious trick for you to either charge us more money or get free gas. The vans should come with full tanks.

The were helpful with the problem I had refilling the truck to the amount on the gauge -- when the gauge did not work. See prior note. This change in practice seems like a scam and should be discontinued. I will never rent a truck that is not full of fuel again. The staff was helpful in elevating this problem

Clean the vehicle prior to use on long road trips. make sure the equipment is in working order. Our trailer blew a tire outside of Gallup NM the emergency service number provided to us was not manned by a human instead there was only ROBOLady. kept disconnecting us and putting us on hold,wasting our time as our phone went dead. we were stuck in the middle of nowhere for 5 hours with no recourse. It was extremely stressfull and the problem could have easily been avoided by manning the emergency phone line and being responsive to the dilema.

I called and requested a truck that would be able to fit thru a 9' tall opening and was told that the 17' or 14' would work but you only had 14' available so that's what I got. Well apparently in a 14' truck you need more than 9' and had to haul all of my stuff across a warehouse I requested a truck that would fit in that opening and got lied to!! When I called to speak with a manager I left a message and never got an answer back. In stead of doing a quick move and being able to drive my stuff in and out I spent all day trekin my stuff across a warehouse I'm completely did statsified with this customer service and even more angry at being lied to.

I did an express check in so I don't have to wait, when I got there I still have to go to a long line and waited 20-30 minutes . When my turn comes the guy said initial here and signed here which I did . He said make sure you check the mileage and if its not the same as the paper come back. The lady put the truck on the drive way , I'm still checking everything and trying to get familiar with the truck she wants me to move out because I'm on the way of other drivers going out. Nobody explain to me that when I return the truck I have to make sure its clean. When I return the truck to the rental drop off the guy was charging me $25 because the truck is dirty he said . It has can and its so dirty which is not true. There is no cans and the only thing that is on the floor of the truck is a small cross that does not belong to me and a small bead that also does not belong to me. I was explaining to him that no one mentioned this when I pick up the truck . I know its my fault for not reading what I was told to sign. But I thing charging $25 for a truck that is not dirty based on the standard of the rental company where I pick it up is not right. His attitude and customer service needs to be improve.
