The people at the actual location were great. The people on the phone especially a guy named Andrew were completely inept. Called to make a change to my reservation and he sent me to a location that wasn't open. When I called to go to my original location the woman said my dolly that I had reserved 3 days prior was unavailable. I went anyway and Luis ( who was great) assured me they had plenty. The gross incompetence has me questioning if I'll use uhaul again. And if I do I will only go directly to the location because the phone people are clueless and a waste of time.

I made my reservation over the internet and they gave me a price of 220 plus tax. When I picked up my U-Haul the person who helped me changed the price and I ended up paying 27 dollars more. He told me he can't give me the price I was offered on the internet, that's what I have to pay.

If a customer calls in to ask about solutions to an issue and there has been no heated communication exchanges, do not start out the conversation with "First of all,...". This was not Sandra, but another woman who came in around 8:30 a.m. or so on 3/2/15. Sandra was a very nice lady in person and on the phone. We got disconnected and she did return my phone call to resolve my issue.

Uhaul policy is bullshit. I booked a Friday 11am and when I showed up then, they said my reservation was moved because they called me and I didn't pick up so they moved my reservation to 3pm without telling me. Horrible policy.

Customer parking should be longer. And U Haul pricing more transparent at the time of reservation and booking i.e. extra fueling and price per mile charges took me by surprise. But the staff were very polite, and very helpful.

With the exception of the First Lady I dealt with who had to hand over to a man the staff where surly and unhelpful. I asked for help with operating the van and the guy said it's like any other you should know. I was also charged twice!

More help on the weekends. When picking up the truck the line was almost out the door and when returning it was only one person checking folks out so waited about a good 20-25 minutes to check out! Not good!

We just rented a uhaul recently. We returned the truck after hours so we just locked it and returnd the keys in the drop box. The next morning they said they couldnt find the keys and our card got charged with $150. The heck? Seriously, is this the way you make money?!

Please offer parking for those customer that are renting trucks. There is only 2 hour neighborhood parking. This made the move a lot more difficult to have to coordinate 2 vehicles when the entire point of renting a uhaul was to not have to take multiple trips back and forth. The lot was half empty and it seemed very unjust.

I made a reservation, and then called uhaul to adjust the pickup time. A uhaul representative ensured me that my reservation would be honored, and told me that she would be adding a note about the new pickup time in the system. She never added that note and as a result, the uhaul pick up location cancelled my reservation and I was not able to access a vehicle at the time I needed. To improve, you can: - Improve communication between uhaul representatives who answer the phone when called about reservations, and uhaul representatives who work in the rental location. There should be more checks and confirmations than one computer system keeping track of things like reservation adjustments. - Improve service and guarantee reliability from uhaul representatives who answer phone and make/adjust reservations. If someone says my reservation will be honored, I expect for it to be honored. - Provide more assistance from on-site uhaul representatives when there is a problem related to the uhaul representative that answered the phone when the listed number for that location was called; more assistance connecting customer with customer service, uhaul central office instead of just telling customer to call 1800 uhaul. In general, the manager and employees at this pick up location were flippant about the fact that I could not move at the time I needed to because a uhaul employee messed up my reservation. Manager should at least apologize, offer refund/free services like any responsible business. - In general, a better contingency plan when uhaul messes up someone's reservation. If I made a reservation, I should be able to access a vehicle, even if a uhaul employee failed to input that note into the system. Maybe a fleet of reserve vehicles specifically saved for situations like this one. - Quicker followup. I requested followup from a manager about this botched reservation adjustment and haven't heard anything back yet.

I wanted to rent 6 furniture pads, but I was told someone outside would give them to me. They didn't and I forgot to even ask. Communication between staff inside and outside the facility needs to be increased so customers get the products they want/need.
