The front desk ladies, Naomi and some other woman, are completely incompetent and the management is completely oblivious and careless. They have absolutely no concept of customer service. I would never recommend this location, on Louisiana st in midtown houston, ever to anyone. I had to call the corporate offices because of their incompetency to do a simple job.

The male agent/manager was extremely rude and unnecessarily inflexible. He kept yelling and talking to us in an insulting tone when we asked simple questions. There should also be some assistance or suggestions for where to park your car at this location, which was missing. I would not recommend this location until at least the level of customer service improves.

Have trucks closer to building I have very bad back pains and agent had me walk to the very back of location to get truck even when another agent offered to get the truck because he saw the pain I was in but the agent told no and I was okay to get it on my own and that very rude of him

I had a 9:30 appointment to pick up a van. I got there at 9:15. The agent confirmed my 9:30 appointment and made me wait 15 minutes until HE was ready. The balance of the rental experience was fine.

Improve customer service tenfold. We were attempting to move and reserved a dollie and pads. Neither made their way into the truck. This was partly our fault because we should have known better than to trust a staff that was already rude. They were "nice" enough not charge us for either. When asked what additional things they could do for the complete inconvenience we just received a blank state as if we asked then to solve cold fusion. I am sure there are better Uhaul facilities and suggest you use them.

The side mirror on the truck was broken which made for a very dangerous driving situation. Otherwise, the truck was fine. However, the broken mirror put a damper on the overall rental experience.

The Uhaulmtruck was not well maintained. It only drove up to 60 mph, if you tried any higher , it felt like if the tires were going to come off. The driver side mirror was not usable, kept moving down and would stay in place, made ID a very dangerous vehicle to drive. It just appears that vehicle was and is not being maintained. I hope no one gets killed in that vehicle.

We went to the store on Monday, 8/4 to reserve the truck around 6:20pm and the girl working was closing up when the store was supposed to stay open until 7:00 pm on that day. She refused to service us until I told her that it was an emergency and that I needed to make sure to get it reserved. She hesitated but finally let us in (which was our right given the store was still supposed to be open for 30 minutes). When we got into the store, there were 3 other individuals in there and were also quite unhappy with the service being provided. At our turn, she said we would have to leave a card on hold but it wouldn't be charged. I told her I would rather pay in cash at the close but she insisted on us leaving a card, which we decided to do. I had a friend drop off the U-Haul on Wednesday and our card was immediately charged even though we had cash in hand to pay in cash. When we asked for a refund to the card, the cashier refused and said there was no way he could issue a refund. After some 30 minutes of arguing back and forth, he agreed to refund the card and we paid in cash. Needless to say, this has been by far the worst U-Haul experience ever, the employees are completey useless and very unfriendly and of no help whatsoever. Also, as an owner of this facility I would be very wary of the missed opportunities of losing business due to your employees closing your store 30-45 minutes before the designated close time, due to their own personal wants to leave the store right at 7pm. I'll know next time and make sure to recommend friends to other U-Haul locations or to none at all. 1.The customer service was lacking. 2.The girl at the counter didn't take me to the truck to inspect it, she told me a general location where the truck was and told me inspect it. 3.The equipment that had been ordered was not on the truck as it was supposed to be. 4. The truck was not clean. 5. The girl at the counter didn't seem to care. 6. I was told I couldn't leave my vehicle there due to a lack of parking. 7. The girl managed to erase my reservation and my information that I had entered during the quick check-in at their website. I really wonder why any one would rent a vehicle or storage from this place.

Naomi was the only one theres She was running the place and she was great. I think she did an awesome job. However, no parking on site is a huge drawback. There was an empty lot right across the side street. Rent that and let customers park there. Parking is your only problem, but it is a major one...not sure about returning when I have an option. Give Naiomi a raise...she is good.

I just have one comment , last time tha I rented a cargo van, I made the reservationa the day before to have the van for one day, when I got there, they told me that I only had it for four hours, I do not know if that was a miscomuication issue or what,the thing is that I had tu rush all day to return it on time
