There were known problems with the ignition, in which the key wouldn't turn easily. I believe this was because a new key had been cut, and it still required some filing to fit properly. These problems should have been made clear at pick-up, along with a demonstration on the tricks required to get the van started.

I was told that my box spring and mattress would fit into the moving van. One of the girls at the desk told me that it would fit al sizes up to a queen, but not a king. My bed is a queen size. I tried multiple ways to get the mattress and box spring into the van and it would not fit. I later returned to return the van I was told that it should've fit and that I would still be charged the additional milage for the trip that I wouldn't have even made had I known that my mattress and box spring wouldn't fit. The representative whom I turned the van into said that people have gotten king sized beds into the van, which is a contradiction from what I was originally told, she then later changed it to say that it was too small for a queen. She suggested that I try bending the mattress and box spring, that would result in the box spring being broken, obviously.

The representative not the manager used foul language towards me and insulted me. I returned the equipment I rented and the door was locked while the representative was on her phone. I finally got her attention after 5 minutes and she opened the door with attitude. She told me I should have just left the equipment there. Then she made a noise towards me to get my attention and when I went to the counter she was sitting at I asked her for a paper receipt and she said I can check my email. I asked her for her name because I was going to contact corporate about her rudeness and she told me to Google her name. I was very disappointed and left very upset. This person should be reprimanded. Please follow up with me by email. Thank you.

Check the mileage matches the receipt before leaving… they deliberately printed less miles on the receipt. When I returned the truck it looked like I covered more mileage so increased the cost. I showed the guy a photo I took of the mileage gage before leaving the depo. I did not notice the receipt stated -10 miles that was actually on the truck. I covered 6 miles and they tried to charge for 16 miles. Check the receipt before leaving!!

Allow parking in your lot. I couldn't believe when the guy told me I had to park somewhere else. It was raining and it was not much fun walking back and forth. At least you could point us in the right direction rather than just saying not to park there.

The staff was very helpful and friendly both checking in and returning the vehicle, and all the charges were fair and reasonable with no surprises. My only complaint was that the inside of the van smelled AWFUL, like a zoo. It literally seemed like someone had taken a horse in there and not cleaned afterward.

There are only 4 parking spaces, so I had to drive back to my house to park car since I could not park it u haul office. U-Haul needs to advertise there is NO onsite parking at this location!

Patrick and david are great! I rented a pick-up to get my wardrobe boxes home to finish my packing . I have been nervous about this move but after visiting with Patrick I feel much more confident that I can do this. They were nice enough to help make sure I had thought of everything I needed. I pick up my 10 footer next Saturday. I am utilizing the labor link as well- I will let you know how it all turns out!

Improve by training your employees on customer service. The overweight young man who attended me was more interested in his Cheetos than anything else. Gave me a truck with the wrong mileage, probably the wrong truck, and then tried to blame it on me. A total idiot.
