Rented trailer to get our car from Sugarland to Magnolia 5/18/2013 (because it broke down out there) and signed contract to bring back to original location on 5/19/2013. We had a medical emergency that morning and called to take it back to Magnolia. We were told it would be double of what we rented it for ($120.00). So when we took it back to the location closer to us they said it would be $400.00!! Needless to say we took it back to the original location, which is about 60 miles away. (hour there and hour back) We are very unhappy that U-Haul did not work with us due to our emergency. We will not be renting anymore trucks, trailers or equipment from U-Haul and will let our friends and famiy know what happened. Most of our family said looks like you have lost any future business from them. By the way, have a sister and brother-in-law that had reserved a truck to move from Houston to Dallas next week....the cancelled and are using another company.

This site is great ... nice selection of vehicles, lots of packing materials, and nice staff. The following comment is about UHaul's system and not this rental site. Without notification the rental location was changed (7+miles farther, different city) by UHaul. The email notice for early check-in did not specify location change. If I had not noticed that the location address (small print) was different then on the day of rental I would have been at the wrong location. I called the original location and they never answered their phone (Fri). I called the new location and they confirmed the change. If UHaul changes the location then it should clearly state this in its communication. I give the new site A+ but I give UHaul system a F ... no explanation, no notice of the change, wasting my time trying confirm, and added anxiety night before move.

The engine of he vehicle that I used had a tendency to overrun when I attempted to stop in traffic making it hard to handle and unsafe.

We had reservation at Voss Storage down the street from this location. I told the lady that we would be there around 1 pm to get truck. We got there at 1:05 and it said gone to lunch till 2 pm. Went down street and found this location. I had to get bigger truck because that is all they had. Digovanni (think that was girl's name) gave me bigger truck for same price. She went above and beyond to take care of me. I really appreciated that.

When I rented my truck for a one way move I was told I would get one month free storage ,when I arrived in Aurora Colorado I was told no we don't have anymore ,and Ed at the Havana store was very rude until I told him I wanted to talk to some one in the corp.

Customer service at this location is decent. Beware if you call directly to make a reservation, they may transfer you to a reservation line without telling you which happened to me and the reservation was for another uhaul location. Thankfully I noticed it and was able to clear it up before rental pick-up.

When I returned my rental the customer rep noticed the plan that was given to me and how many miles I had used, she then stated we should have been offered the plan that would have given me 100 free mileage. I told the rep I had not been offered the opportunity to choose a plan, she then asked her boss could she offer that plan to us and he said no. I was also precharged for an extra day on my card without my consent, although, I stated to them the time and date I was returning.I was going to continue with a new rental contract, but with all of these discrepencies I decided not to. Thank you

My pickup at Hwy 6 was complicated by a wiring problem on my vehicle, but thinks to a young man,( the name on my receipt is Samuel Nunez,) with good and courtesy skills was able to make this bad situation a whole lot less painful. Thanks.

Need to double check the trucks. I received the truck dirty and I was about to get charged for a dirty truck from a past customer. I trusted that it was clean before I left the facility, but I was wrong.
