I had several issues with my truck rental/reservation as well as my storage reservation. Moving is never an easy task and while U-Haul is supposed to ease the task in turn made it worse. Upon arriving at the facility, 2 hours prior to closing, I was informed by Hanna, customer service representative, that my reservation was essentially void as they didn't have any climate-controlled storage facilities nor did they have the size storage I reserved. Imagine moving across state lines with all of your belongings and not having a storage to secure your belongings in! I phoned the General Manager, Rebecca, and left a voicemail. After visiting another U-Haul, which was recommended by Hanna and approximately 25 minutes away I learned that the storage would not be able to accommodate my belongings. I was left without a storage and a U-Haul truck that was due to be returned the next day. Also, Hanna changed my drop off location without my approval. Exactly an hour later, I received a phone call from the General Manager who informed me this hadn't happened before and would phone me once she obtained a list of facilities that would accommodate me. I estimate receiving a follow-up call an hour and a half later. Rebecca informed me I would still receive the free month of storage (included in a one-way truck rental) as well as a $75 VIP ticket to use at U-Haul, and an additional complimentary day for the U-Haul truck. I was agreeable because I honestly had no other choice. I also had to take an additional day off of work. I knew I should have used another company for my storage needs, but still used U-Haul (non-climate-controlled and a smaller storage than originally booked). To my surprise, corporate tells Rebecca she is unable to issue both the VIP card and the first month free after I've signed the contract and moved my belongings in! Once I have move my belongings out, I do not have any intention of using U-Haul again! I phoned reservations, U-Haul traffic control, and left a message from the manager of storage, which was never returned. I also left a compliant, which was never followed up on. If the customer has an issue resolve it! As a manager, don't offer to provide something you can't deliver on. Poor customer service and very deceptive!

There was some discussion on the computer application of two day rental vs one day use. I think that if the customer delivers the equipment in less than 24hrs, there shoul;d be some type of incentive.

Rebecca greeted me when I entered the store and kindly and efficiently went through the rental contract with me. Luis received the truck when I returned it and likewise was friendly and efficient. It was a no hassle, no time wasted experience, and I will definitely use this location again when needing to rent a truck.

Everything was in it's and their proper place. I enjoyed the clerk at the desk that checked me in and Eduardo all helped me hook to the trailer and also John that disconnected the trailer when I brought it back. Everyone had a perfect attitude toward me and other customers, thanks uhaul!!!

This isn’t in reflection of the employees at this site but the manager. The yard was not manned; several customers were waiting impatiently; not enough staff present to handle the customers; one lady was PO’d about something and left; the reception area was dirty, crowded, disorganized, dilapidated and HOT; the A/C wasn’t keeping up the heat and the employees had a box fan running; the yard needed cleaning, sweeping, striping, and better signage. Overall it was one of the poorest condition dated facilities I’d been around in quite a while. The employee that helped me was courteous, knowledgeable, and obviously stressed by the lack of support but doing her job as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances. This facility was in stark contrast to the site I dropped off a trailer at in Plano Texas 2 weeks before. That site was orderly, manned properly, clean, and ship shape. I would advise U-Haul to consider a 5S scored site survey at each facility for corrective and preventative actions to improve service deliverability . They did a great job helping get a truck on the last Friday of the month with no reservation. They could have just said we were booked. But she gave truck from 8:45 - 12:00. I actually returned it at 10:45. Thank you for trusting a repeat customer

We rented a Cargo Van. When refilling with gas and being math- minded, I used the chart in the pamphlet to calculate how much gas was needed to return it. We overfilled because as we learned when we returned the van, it's based on a truck. It does not state this. We probably lost at least $20.00 due to this false information. I asked about credit and was told they do not credit for overfilling. I feel that there is some deception having it in print, but not honoring our good faith. This is my only complaint and it would make me hesitate in the future. Knowing the issue, if they had offered to reduce our rental even by $10.00, I would have felt like an effort of good faith was offered. As it is, I do not. It's not good business sense and there are other places to rent from.

The truck was not 10x15 the dolly took up space..they did no walk around. And tried to over charge me for miles...
