Hire more than one person. You need at least one for customer service and one in the shop. I applied for express pick up online and it took one hour and 3 minutes to get the truck this morning. One person on duty the day before a holiday weekend. Ridiculous! Also was told by phone by two people and at the Governors location as well that I could turn the truck into any other site. We returned it to a south Huntsville location and had to go pick it back up and take to the Governors location. You obviously need to do more training with your employees and hire additional people. I will never use your trucks again - will go with someone else instead We were paying movers to sit while we waited to pick up truck because you are understaffed. Thanks - you made a bad situation worse. We were moving my mother to skilled nursing.

THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT THE PICKUP LOCATION IS CLOSED ON SUNDAY, THEN SEND YOU ACROSS THE CITY, AND REFUSE TO DISCOUNT THE MILES FOR THE DIFFERENCE IN DISTANCE.

Act professional as if you had some real concern for the customer. Don't be late opening the store and don't tell people to put the blankets they rented out of the truck and on a ramp across the parking lot. Not their job

I was very disappointed in the pick up of the rental equipment. I reserved the equipment at one location (in Madison), and got an email about 30 minutes before hand telling me that the truck was going to be at the Governor Drive location. I went to the Madison location since I had received a call from them the day before (I called to confirm and played phone tag with the rep as I could not get anyone to answer the phone). When I arrived in Madison, the rep (Brian) proceeded to tell me I had no equipment reservation there. I said ok, and thought that may have been why they called me the day before, and he proceeded to say that it was only 6 miles down the road (that's 6 miles he didn't have to drive). Ok, so that pissed me off already at his "whatever" kind of attitude about the situation. If I had known that, I could have picked up the truck earlier at the other location, instead of getting the email 30 minutes before hand. Ok. I then get to Governors Drive location to pick up the truck. No preinspection done. Ok. But then my car tow was not with the equipment. It was at the Madison location. Are you kidding me? I was just there and was told I didn't have anything there. Ok. So I told the rep at the Governor Drive location that I would prefer to get it tomorrow since I just left there and I had friends arriving to help me load the truck. Ok. He changed it to the next day. Good. Ok. So I get 30 minutes away and I am then in the process of loading the truck and (Brian) the rep from the Madison location calls me (and speaks to me like I wasn't just there) to tell me my tow was ready for pick up. Seriously? I'm midway through loading the truck, and now you want me to come pick up equipment that you JUST told me I didn't have? Then tried to tell me that I really needed to come pick it up. I'm livid at thus point and told him I would pick it up the next day. I arrive the next day (after he called me AGAIN about coming to get it) and not only did he act like he did NOT want to hook the equipment up, he also did no inspection of the equipment as well. I had to move the truck around to the equipment instead of bringing the equipment to the truck, and another rep at the location proceeds to say that she didn't touch the equipment after it was rented out since that was "on her" if something happens. Are your employees not insured to drive your own trucks? I then asked Brian if he knew how to adjust the mirror since I could not get it to move into the correct position without breaking it, and he proceeded to tell me that it must be superglued in place since he could not get it adjusted either. What? No call to have it fixed or adjusted since it was not working properly? No concern whatsoever about me having to drive 700+ miles without the use of a right rear view mirror? Ok. So if your own employees don't seem to care about your equipment, I guess I'm only concerned because I'm responsib

Makes sure the furniture pads are clean before you rent them. Mine was dirty with a strong stinch of dogs i got the pads to cover my sofas but they smelled so bad I didn't use them. Very unacceptable

The person that checked me in was extremely nice and very helpful. I did not have my receipt for the boxes I purchased so I couldn't get my money back on the boxes I returned. They gave me a store credit that I will be able to use later when I have a hitch put on my car.

I picked up a truck going to melbourne fl and the check oil change light was on and I had to buy 2 quarts of oil. Also the transmission was not working right so I had to put more gas than I should have to drive to melbourne.

Your customer service person, is not up to date apparently on how people pay for the equipment they come to rent. When we called to confirm the truck we needed we were told we could use cash, or credit card. We took cash in and were told the price to be $100.00 so that they could take all charges and fees from the $100.00, this was fine, but when we went to pick up the truck we were told we needed to have a credit card and the money available on the card. So, we had to go load our credit card, which there was a fee for, and take it back to the u haul store where they held $80.00. The truck we used was a pickup truck, and was to cost $19.99 for the day/ 4 hrs. is how long we had it. I put the gas hand back where it was when picked up also. So all in all a @$55.00 truck ended up costing me $80.00????? I am not happy, and use u haul for all my needs, this incident will make me rent elsewhere, and family members also. I was to receive an unused portion in the amt. of $19.00 credited to my card, that is still not shown up on my card. Very very unhappy and disgusted with the whole experience. William Vernon

This location made up for the experience in McCalla. They took off the trailer quickly and actually fixed the wiring that broke due to the lack of help at the McCalla location. Made me want to use Uhaul again!

The return process was very disorganized. Customers who arrived after us were checked in before us which ended up making our return process take over 30 minutes. There should be better communications between staff and customers to insure everyone has been helped appropriately.
