The guys working at this location needs some communication skills BIG TIME except for the GM Darren as he was extremely helpful..BUT those other guys need to be educated on there job functions so they can better communicate the process to the patrons. I rented a truck and storage unit from this location online when I first got there the day b4 my rental to pickup my boxes I was told I needed to pickup the boxes the same day of the truck rental cause Uhaul didn't charge me for the boxes which I later found out they did..so I was charged twice for the boxes..The GM refunded me without hassle...then on 8/11/14 the day of my truck and storage rental when I returned the truck after hrs (8pm) I was NOT aware that I would not of been able to enter the storage unit but found out the hard way as the card did not work..this cause a huge inconvenience to me as I had to call out from work the very next day 8/12 and use more gas to drive the truck back to Roxbury to park it in my moms driveway as the stuff I needed to put in the storage unit was in there..long story short no one told me that the storage closed at 7pm and neither was any of that information noted anywhere on the contract given to me..lastly on 8/12 when I returned the truck a Female Manager I didn't get her name but she was Darren's boss took care of all the drama..I personally think this location needs some on the job training for there employees as communication skills is definitely lacking..

Don't schedule a truck pick up and a tow-dolly pick-up in separate places, 40 miles apart. And certainly don't schedule it for the same time. And DEFINITELY don't say that those 40 miles count against the mileage allowance. Don't leave the new guy who has been there for 2 months as the sole representative of the store on August 1st. That way, it may not take an hour and a half to pick up some furniture pads.

Keep the gas tank full. Then it should be returned full. I had between 1/4 and 3/8 of a tank at pick up. It was difficult to return it with that amount of gas. I ended up returning with more gas then pick up. It is easy to return full.

When I walked in to the Uhaul, the guy at the counter was signing a truck out for a woman. I was next. It took 20 minutes for me to get my truck. Although the guy seemed personable, there was no urgency to get me or the other customer set up with a truck.

Hello I rented an auto transport, I went to the uhaul in Roxbury first I was told that they didn't have the auto transport available I ask them if they could help me find a location that had one that I can rent I was told the they couldn't help me they told me to call 1800 go uhaul and that this was the only way they can help me. I called them and supplied them with all my info the lady then wanted my credit card number without telling me where I would be able to pick up the auto transport. I told her I didn't want to give my credit card info without knowing where I was going to pick up the auto transport I was told she didn't know where it was... She said that I can call store one by one and ask if they had one. I then hung up and began calling u haul stores one by one to find the product needed I called around 5 stores before I found what I needed I feel that there should have been an easier process then this and that the first store should have given me more customer service and help me find the product I needed. I felt that that customer service rep was to busy for me and couldn't deal with what I wanted or needed as a customer

Bring your advertising more in line with actual prices. $19.95 omits a $10 Boston fee plus taxes, recommended insurance etc.

My overall Uhaul experience was great. I had to change my reservation a few times but everyone I spoke to at Uhaul was very helpful with that. Then the guy who helped me at the pick up and drop off did a great job. He was efficient and helpful.

The truck had damage on the right door that made a sound each time you opened the door. It wasn't swept clean as it was suppose to be, had dirt.

Told Rep complete details of my plan.Told him I'd been in the Rehab & Nursing facility a block away for 13 months from being badly burned in a kitchen fire early last year. I told him l had to use The Ride to get back to Malden & was getting the last Ride @ 12:58am that nite,never did he warn me to make sure l'm back before 11:59pm or l'll be charged an extra $36.00 for an entire extra 24 hours!!! Dam that's COLD..one hell of a house warming gift from U-Haul. Talk about dissapointed( the young brother was super cool too). Needless to say l called and got a rude girl who could care less. Never again,had it w/this company.
