The truck had damage on the right door that made a sound each time you opened the door. It wasn't swept clean as it was suppose to be, had dirt.

Waited 15 min for someone to ask questions. Finally as I left I took down presidents phone # and called him. Got a call from manager later that day. Poor service.

Told Rep complete details of my plan.Told him I'd been in the Rehab & Nursing facility a block away for 13 months from being badly burned in a kitchen fire early last year. I told him l had to use The Ride to get back to Malden & was getting the last Ride @ 12:58am that nite,never did he warn me to make sure l'm back before 11:59pm or l'll be charged an extra $36.00 for an entire extra 24 hours!!! Dam that's COLD..one hell of a house warming gift from U-Haul. Talk about dissapointed( the young brother was super cool too). Needless to say l called and got a rude girl who could care less. Never again,had it w/this company.

Made my reservation 2 weeks in advance. I show up to pick up and they did not have my truck, also told me there were no other trucks available in the area (lies, since I ended up renting from Mass Ave location) claimed there were no other size trucks available but person that came in after me was given other options. When I asked for the $50 reservation guarantee I was told it would be a voucher towards my next rental...like I would ever rent from here again. Tried contacting UHaul customer service but they were just as bad as this location. Worst experience of my life. Save yourself some aggravation and go to the Mass Ave location.

I reserved the truck + Auto transport + dolly at Uhaul.com I got a quotoe for around $200 something, but I ended up paying much more. I picked up the Auto transport from this location as it's closer to my house than Uhaul Norwood (where i picked up my truck). Please refund me the extra charges. But the guy (forgot his name) was extremely helpful. I brought the truck 1st and went back home to bring my car, when I came back the Auto transport was hooked up to the truck and ready to go.

These people charge me extra money. I hope one of you will contact me and give me my money back because I return this truck at the time this location open. They had a long line, so one of the workers took the key from me outside and told me I will receive a receipt through my email. Then they have the nerve to say I brought the truck back at 10.40am. I need my money back.

The telephone customer service was very, very bad. Much misunderstanding, holding, calls not returned. I spoke with an older gentleman named Bob (?) at central customer service, who was clear and kind. The other customer service people pretended to understand what I was asking but they didn't, and in an inappropriately perky tone. I thank Bob for his attention, sobriety and help.

Much better than Lowell. ONE man working there, 3 trucks all being returned and he moved everyone along quickly and with great service. Even though I still wont rent from uhaul again, the man at Hyde Park location was great!

I arrived before 9am in which I walked inside to drop off van and I feel I was treated unprofessionally. Instead of a good morning but we're not open yet, he greeted me as if I broke into the place. So i waited til 9a in which he later yelled he could see me now. Once he realizes i was dropping off he says, "oh we could've closed it out outside". Well had he greeted me in a better manner, I may have said good morning to you as well sir, I'm here to return your van, but instead he was defensive on this early Sunday morning. And the last thing I'll mention is, I have a history of renting from you guys at this location. I've always returned my vehicles with gas etc, and I just noticed I was charged an $8 gas fee when I already gassed up prior my returning and it's a significant amount. I returned the vehicle the way I received it, and somehow you've charged me for gas. I've never had any issues in the past, and I've noticed you have different employees. I guess I'll have to eat this one...

After we picked up the van, there were no issues, but, before that, they changed out pick-up time with very poor notification. Two weeks ahead of time, we booked a 17' van for a 4:15 pickup. A week ahead of time, I received a confirmation email with that time, and even did the express check-in using that time. Three days before, I even went so far as to call Hyde Park and confirm our pick-up time and location as 4:15 at Hyde Park. Then, the day or two days before we were to pick up, I received another confirmation email, this time suddenly with a 6:30 pick-up time. I called and asked what was going on and they replied that they wouldn't be getting any vans back until 6:30 and we'd have to be stuck with the new time. Fortunately, we didn't have anything else going on and were able to make that time as well. But, it didn't seem right that, after that many confirmations of the 4:15 time, they would be able to change it that short notice. Or, I guess more importantly, that they wouldn't call and explain the situation or something, to more directly inform us of the need for a change.

The layout of the parking lot is confusing. Customer (non uhaul vehicle) parking should be labeled better. Multiple customers appeared confused by the parking situation during my time picking up and returning the truck.

I requested to pick up the truck at a location 0.5 miles from the moving site. Upon confirmation, I was instructed to pick up the truck at a different location 20+ miles away. Very time consuming and annoying - please honor customer's location request.
