The paper work was not in the uhaul system and it was a pain getting he information needed. It would be helpful if uhaul had their paperwork in order.

I had gone to the location the night before I was moving to see about reserving a truck and I will admit that it was close to closing time but the guys who were working were standing at the door and told me everything was reserved for the next day but when I got home I reserved online at that location without any problems. Also, I was not informed ahead if time that they preauthorize for the full trip and then when I was finished charged the full amount so both charges are pending on my card for possibly 5 days.

The truck I used was not maintained very well. The window was off the track and would not roll up. The hood was bouncing around and about to come unhinged. The inside of the truck was sticky and not clean.

It only took 15 minutes to be waited on here to drop the trailer. Although the attendent verified that the roof would leak, he could not address the situation as there was no manager on site. I was told I would have to deal with it Monday. This is only a guess, but I would think that trailer will be rented out again by then and other people will have ruined items if it rains.

If you have a vehicle that averages 5 miles a gallon, and the customer has to pay $25.00 in gas for only 40 miles of travel, then this should be taken into account when settling up for the final bill.

I came to pick up the truck at 8AM and no one was in the front office. The manager eventually walked out but was talking on her cell phone wiht her boss about her recent closing of her house. I was irked that I could not get business taken care of because of a personal (not work related) conversation she was in the middle of. Eventually, she waved me over and started checking me in (still talking on the phone). She was a very nice person, but the process took a long time to get started. It would have been more appropriate to hang up the phone and take care of customers. The truck itself was very beat up and rough, but operational at least. I did NOT appreciate the fact that square footage that I rented was taken up by a furniture dolley and covers that were for rent inside the truck. If I wanted to rent those items, I would have done so at the facility! Those items actually prevented me from loading some items during my move that I had to go back for in my hatchbackVery annoying! The return process was quick and I appreciated the fact that the u-haul rep did the final walk around inspection with me present (most other companies don't do that).

the seat belt sensor on the truck was defective, so the light and bell rang constantly for the 1st 10 minutes of each drive. Also the roll-top door hung up in the left track making it difficult to operate. Both items were reported at drop off, but no price adjustment or other concession was offered.

I'd like to talk to someone, higher up than customer assistance over the agony I went thru with your company!!! Sure, I rec'd a credit; but, I deserve much more. If only someone had an hour to hear my story! I'll never use you or recommend your services to anyone!!!

The truck i rented from U-haul was completely unsafe and NOT should have been put o the road. When i talked to the people at your store that is the only one they said they had so i had to use it. I was treated very poorly and the location where i went no one was concerned or worried including the manager!

The personal was fine, the cab was lacking. There needed to cruise control and satilite radio or at a minimum a CD player in the cab. Trying to control a 20ft van while hauling a car while changing radio stations frequently was a scary proposition.
