Broken rail in the box, and no dolly in which both were reported before we took the truck. Drop truck off at same location and they questioned as if we did broke the rail and lost the dolly even though we reported it before taking the truck.

Not have them sign up for the incorrect amount of fuel. The computer showed 3/4 of a tank when it was 5/8 full I had to put in over 4 gallons to get it back to he 3/4 mark and only drove 20 miles. Doesn't add up unless it's 5 mpg, then you should think about buying new trucks.

Had car issues and needed an auto transport. The folks at the U-haul on the Northgate mile in Idaho Falls, Idaho were excellent. The equipment was ready to go, it worked very well, and I didn't have to wait to move through the paperwork. The only downside was more of a corporate thing. The website didn't want to allow my big 3/4 ton truck to pull the transport with a sedan. Everything being towed was way below my truck and hitch limits and yet the website was trying to disallow the combination. The local folks dealt quickly with the poor website and we moved our car. The car is now fixed, the equipment has been returned, and we are quite happy... Fix your website!!!

If possible, have light adapters that can stay with the Uhaul so the customer does not have to buy one.

Tow dolly wench was not lubricated as requested. However, the truck was clean. My "sales rep" there needs to be trained better on the computer system. Took about 10 min to just get my order correct.

Don't lie to the customer and properly train all employees about check out and payment procedures. We were gifted with a $35 bank overdraft fee because an employee entered things wrong and lied to us, we were told "sorry nothing we can do"

When I checked out the vehicle, as I was driving away I noticed the gas was not at the level indicated on the contract. I took a photo of it to show them on return. I returned the vehicle at the level indicated by the contract, but showed my picture of what I actually had when I left. They refunded me the gas I put in over the actual level on checkout. I was very impressed they took my concern serious and will definitely use them again.

When I returned vehicle they asked about a dent on the hood. I told them I did no do this, so he had to ask manager about it, fortunately the manager knew about the dent. This should have been indicated on the vehicle so that I was not asked. Good thing he remembered or I would have been responsible which would have bee bad.

Their computers were down so had a long wait time picking up vehicle,other customers waiting which added to wait time. No fault of employees, they done the best of a bad situation! Also computers were still down a few hours later when we returned vehicle so we could not get contract or credit card statement on what we were being charged, Douglas Davis

Have employees with some customer service skills. Greet customers with a hello, how can I help you, don't just ignore them and go about your business. When you make a customer wait for over 30 minutes, you can at least acknowledge their presence and tell them you will be with them as soon as possible. When you have to leave the customer unattended in your store, let them know where you are going and that you will be right back - don't just walk out and leave them wondering. When it's finally their turn, you can be pleasant and apologize for the wait. When the transaction is complete, you can say "thank you I appreciate your business," not "He should be pulling that around for you" and then walk away without any kind of courtesy whatsoever. Finally, you can be upfront and honest about the costs involved in renting the vehicle. Over the phone and in person I was quoted a price and told that I could drive the truck for up to 74 miles. Not once did anyone tell me that I would be expected to put gas in the truck. I assumed that by giving me a mileage limit that my rental price covered the fuel but when I turned it back it they informed me that I was supposed to fill it back up.

Very upset 15 min after I left uhual the trailer came unhitched and ran into my bumper 3 times denting it. It was not hooked up properly. Luckily I had not loaded my stuff yet and no one got hurt. I have submitted a claim but I had to pay for the rental I didn't use then I paid for another rental.

Your agent didn't hook the trailer up properly and about 15 min after I left uhual the trailer came off and ran into my bumper 3 times denting the truck. Luckily I had not loading anything yet and no one was hurt. It was not easy getting the trailer hooked back up on the side of the road.
