Wonderful Staff. As soon as the truck was pulled in they took over got me to the front to finish closing out the contract i could see them from the front office area already detailing the truck for the next customer.

You pick your location then get switched to a location " that has the equipment you need" which costs the consumer more money. Nice job u Haul. Then you ask if you can return it to a closer location and are told NO. Ryder here I Come. Truck was a nightmare to drive. Should be put out of its misery. Would be shocked if it could pass any kind of inspection.

Major improvements need to be made at customer service speed and customer recognition. I spent 45 minutes (with only 3-4 customers ahead of me) to pick my vehicle up. I spent another 45 minutes when I returned the vehicle. I was particularly irritated when I was given my return slip within the first 15 minutes and told to wait for the next person at the desk and proceeded to wait the last 30 minutes only to learn that I didn't need to wait around at all. Given that the location was only open 8 hours on my rental date, I spent an 1 1/2 of it waiting in line instead of moving. Very disappointed.

I was told during the quote process (Sue), that I could bring my AAA card the day of pick-up for a discount. Joel said at pick-up; no. Joel did not take me out to look at & walk around the truck to inspect. I felt rushed & had to ask for a receipt.

I returned the van 5 minutes late and was literally walking to the door when the customer 'service' rep locked the door on my face. He was standing on one side of the glass door pretending to ignore me, and I was on the other side of the door pushing the key and contract through the night return slot. Absurd. I did not expect him to take back the van and process the paperwork at that time, but it would not have been difficult to received the key and copy of the contract from my hand. Very rude.

I would say one or two more counter people to check in customers but then again, I don't know for sure if that location is busy like it was all the time on Sundays. I do know that my CSR was friendly and courteous, explained everything to me. Even though there were many customers, these guys did check us in as quickly as possible. They did a great job.

The Castleton location was clean, efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, the call center (800-GO Uhaul) was inconsistent, at best. My first call to the call center was outstanding. I called back to change the date for my rental and was greeted with indifference. The call center employee was very curt with me and didn't seem to know what to do. In seeking to change the date for my rental, the original location did not have the equipment requested for the new date. When I asked the CSR to look at some other locations in the area she said "where do you want me to look?" and did not offer other nearby locations that had the equipment. Only my knowledge of UHaul's area locations allowed me to find the equipment. Additionally, NO ONE mentioned to me that I needed to have a 2" ball instead of a 1 7/8" ball. That required me to return home during rush hour, change hitch balls and return to the location to pick up my trailer. That oversight cost me an additional 60 minutes in travel time and also caused me to miss my appointment to pick up my cargo.

Old truck, very hard to drive, ehaust fumes in cab. Trailer compartment leaked rain water on my oriental rugs. I will say customer service very good when I made the initial reservation. Hope they are just as good when making restitution for inconvenience.

It was the best Truck rental experience that I've had. The truck only had 220 miles and the cab still had that 'new' smell. The process was well organized.

Trailer has rope left in it tied on the inside of the trailer from the previous renter. It was a little dirty inside as well. Defiantly not wiped/cleaned out. The guy that hooked up my trailer and did my check out and return was awesome! Very nice and made the process simple! I wish I could remember his name
