The rep we dealt with was great. We ha do keep the truck for an extra day because we just voiding finish everything we needed to do in one day. It was not a problem at all. He was more than happy to assist. I would certainly recommend this location to family and friends.

This Mandarin U-Haul location is the "real deal". It is large, clean, organized, professional, and accommodating. Each time I've rented from them I needed to extend my rental duration. There is nothing at this location that needs to be improved. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. When I arrived to drop off I asked where do I put the trailer once I un hook it. He looked at me very surprised and said we will un hook it for you. I said where I got the trailer they told me u haul's new rules are the customer hooks and un hooks their own trailer. He said you were given miss information and a trained u haul employee has to hook up all trailers because a customer could hook it up wrong and cause a accident when it comes un hooked from the vehicle while driving.

Just a smile can make someone's day. I understand work is tough. But work is work! You can't expect it to always go well and everyone understands that. But to be in a moody mood that really ruined my day. I didn't mind the wait but attitude totally needs to improve in order to get any positive feed back.

The place was very busy which is good, but only had one person working the desk while one was moving trucks outside. After a couple of more people were in line after myself, the one inside asked the other to come help. The trailer I rented had one light out on the top and when asked about repairing it, I was told that it wasn't important and would be okay. I do like the location, just a once happening!

When I made a reservation for a particular location, i expect to pick up the vehicle there. When we arrived this morning there was no vehicle. I was given an 800 number to call. I was told my res. ervation was at another location and that I had been called the night before to let me know. No, i was not called. When we arrived at the second location I was told they did not have a vehicle reserved for me . Someone else came and said yes, you do have a vehicle, but it is not the suze you reserved. Then they said oh wait we do have one for you. After that all went well . Right hand doesnt seem to know what the left hand is doing. What's the purpose of online reservations if it is nort accurate. When a reservation is made and credit card submitted, remove the vehicle from the system.

This experience was a debacle from the beginning when I rented a van with the weekly rate totaling $341.86. When I returned the vehicle, they could not find my contract in the system. Then when they did, it appeared under someone elses name. Problem was my contract listed one vehicle and I was given the keys to a different vehicle. Thus the other person's name appeared on "my" vehicle. I was issued a refund by the attendant of $276.20. I told him that had to be wrong. He assured me it was right. Rather than argue with him I called the manager this morning. I explained to Bernard that I was given a refund I was not entitled to but the refund had not hit my account yet. I told him I owed for the 77 miles of over mileage. He said he would charge my account $23.00 which I authorized. In checking my account this afternoon, I see that ANOTHER $276.20 WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT. I called Bernard again and he said I TAKES A COUPLE OF DAYS FOR A REFUND TO SHOW UP. So in essence, they have nearly $300 of my money tied up while I wait 2 or 3 days for the refund to hit. I told him NOT TO RUN THE $276.20 UNTIL THE REFUND HAD CLEARED. But no, he went ahead and did so anyway. I called being honest to advise him of the problem yesterday and that I was told by his employee I would receive monies (that I was not entitled to). Trying to do the right thing and now I have nearly $300 I cannot use for anything while I wait on them to get the refund to process. There is something wrong in that office because the young attendants said that the mixups with wrong vehicles being given out seems to happen fairly frequently. If this is what you have to go through to rent a U-Haul vehicle, I will not do so anymore. I had to bring their mistake to their attention and then Bernard never even thanked me for doing so. Next time I will just sit back and let them figure it all out. Nice consolation for telling the truth and being honest.

Wipers on the truck did not work, nor did the parking brake. Was also told that it was a flat $7 fee to use the 2 wheel dolly and was charged $7 a day!

Normally had very good experience with this location but if I am to use my last experience as a template...I could not recommend it or U-Haul to anyone. The Truck drove very rough and when I informed the U-Haul Dealer, it wasn't taken seriously. Informed there had been no complaints on the truck from previous renters. I drove over 140 miles in the worst vehicle I have ever been in and then paid over $200 for it. I will find an alternate plan next time.
