Needed more help with the auto transport. We had never used one before and there wasn't enough help at the location for the man behind the desk to come out to show how to load the car and then check to make sure the car was loaded safely for our trip .

Upon going to a first location I was met with no U-Haul assistance. When I called u-haul directly they scheduled me for a pick up at a location that was inconveniently closed and 30 minutes away. Upon calling back I was told that I would not get the guaranteed $50 per the website guarantee because I did not call the store location (stupid...but I see the fine print catch). Then upon arriving at the third location, the trailer was nowhere to be found... After 45 minutes of waiting on a forth location someone finally called the store manager who informed them it was in the garage... Needless to say this will probably be my last use of your services as I wasted a day hunting down a trailer.

Not once but THREE times we had to convince the U haul location that the auto transport had been returned 4 days earlier. It took to today 7/13 to get this permanently resolved that we were correct on our return. This is very hard when he his getting for deployment and I am many states away. Thanks to last lady I spoke with she worked diligently to resolve and close our account. This was first time we have used U Haul........don't know if we will use again or not. Thanks for asking my opinion

well, yall need to get with the 800 number they told us we could pick up our car dolly on piney green rd between 12 noon and 1 pm, that was not true we drove 20 miles !!!!! to pick this dolly up and it had been rented out that morning and may not be back until 3 pm !!!! so they directed back to the u-haul in S. MARINE BLVD. where they had 1 available they were very nice, but it is not acceptable to have to drive back into town about 15 miles to get one with the price of gas !!!!!!! i was not reimbursed my gas mileage either !!!!! they need to get their act together !!!

I wanted to change my order once I had already paid because I knew that the dimensions were too much for the amount of packing I had done. When I asked the persons whom rented me the truck if I could switch because there were other one-way smaller trucks available they told me it wouldn't be much cheaper and it wasn't worth switching. It disappointed me once I packed the u haul and only filled a little less than half of it. Then I called u haul customer service to try and get a refund for the difference in truck prices for a smaller truck. They transferred me between extensions for twnty minutes and I got no answers. Overall, I would just like to get a reasonable refund for being pressured into paying for a u haul that was too big for the job I needed.

The problem is that the staff is great the manager Jason is poor. Problem number 1 equipment not at location as committed on reservation. I stopped in a day early to pick up supplies and verify my reservation. I should drive a 100 miles out of my way to get a car tower? Truck not available at time promised. 12 noon verses 8 until I called corporate. Mr Tetter who serviced me on Sunday was great. Even though it was agreed to cancel the tower on Saturday I continued to get phone calls to pick it up.

The headlights in the UHAUL trucks are very dim, even the brights, making it very difficult to see in low light. While driving in low light conditions visibility is EXTREMELY poor, especially in the absence of reflectors on the highway. Also, the ratchet straps on the trailer were very rusty and the straps came loose from the towed vehicles tires multiple times, causing me to stop frequently in order to check them creating stress. Other than that - Awesome!!!

I am blogging online about my horrible customer service and overall experience using every social media account of mine as well as reviews this week. Basically my husband is active duty Marine Corps. We had to PCS across country. We scheduled a 26ft truck and auto transport. Receive the wrong auto transport but didn't know until morning of the move when we were ready to put the SUV on and travel for two days. We were on a time line since he had to check in within three days. We lived an hour one way from the uhaul location. He had already drove the fully loaded truck an hour to base(Camp Lejeune) and back to "check out" of his unit. Passing the uhaul place without knowing we were given the wrong auto transport. After hours of calling and waiting on call backs, hang ups and transfers. We were left with being told to go buy our own straps(100 dollars later) and basically to figure it out. Sorry about your luck and our mistake. So after searching and driving to find said straps. We left NC for MO 6 hours behind schedule. We never reviewed an apology and forget about even being offered a discount or reimbursement. I can honestly say this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my short 33 years of existence. Never again will we use Uhaul. The only reason we booked through Uhaul in the first place was because the auto transport was the only one available for our SUV(which had factory stock tires) even though Budget was cheaper. Phenomenal service. My door to the unit was broken and the store was already closed. I called the uhaul customer service and they got hold of the general manager. I waited a few minutes and decided to leave but as I was leaving the staff that I spoke to earlier, Paul, saw me in the truck and waived me to go back and follow him in his POV. He got me switched into a new unit right away, made all the necessary inspections i.e keycards, locks, etc. Afterwards he even asked if I needed any assistance in moving. Paul has earned back my trust in the company and will continue to do business with uhaul! He has gone far out of his way afterhours to ensure that a customer was satisfied with superb customer service!

I encountered major issues with picking up the Uhaul. I was transferred to 3 different Uhaul centers before being able to pick up my Uhaul at this location. This resulted in having to pay my movers over time because the time was so delayed. My order was incorrect. I was also told I would get money taken off for my great inconvenience and then the salesman changed his mind. I am very unsatisfied with my Uhaul experience.

The manager was rude and seemed to be upset that I was inconvenience him. As a patron, I believe I should have been treated as if I was the most valuable customer, but instead I received the contrary. This location will not get my business in the future and my friends are aware of my unfortunate experience.
