1st you can reimburse me for 1 day of a 2 day rental price. I rented the trailer in Newnan GA but I was told I had to drive 45 minutes to an hour to p/u the unit. I went to p/u the trailer, waited 1.5 hours before I left with the trailer. I returned the trailer about 1.5 hours late and was charged another complete day. NO compensation for my inconvenience, terrible customer service? This location needs more qualified U-haul associates and the key rental times.

Everything better working vehicles that don't break down leaving you stranded for 2hrs. Customer service at the jonesboro GA location needs work customers are waiting too long.

It rained while we were moving and the windshield wipers did not work making driving conditions very hazardous and unsafe. Additionally, I had to extend my rental by another day because I wasn't finished in 1 day. When I called the uhaul location directly 770-471-7956 spoke to Steve Fauge to request additional rental day and he spoke to me as if it was an impossible task. He said they couldn't extend my rental because there were reservations on the truck. I'm thinking so what am I to do I am not finished moving. Then he says well your gonna have to bring the truck back for us to check it in check the miles and recheck it out to you. I then said that doesn't make sense. I would have to incur cost for mileage so that you can check the miles. Next he comes back and says ok well we can do it but you must pay the $39.95 for an additional day + safe move fee $14.00 + .99 cents per mile + $50 cost because you are cutting into someone else rental and we are losing business. I said to him what about my business as a current customer. I call this customer no service at all. Will write a review with others , and yelp.

When we first pulled up, we were told to park on the side of the building, which we did. We had a very long wait inside: even though there were many personnel walking around, only one was was at the desk. When we came up to the counter, I was told that we needed to move the truck to the front, and I explained that when we were at the front, we were told to move to the side. The lady helping us said, "oh" and then we were told to wait on the side while she had someone move the truck and she helped other customers. This was a horrible check-in process.

After totally messing up our other reservations in Alabama we ended up having to go to Georgia to even get a truck and trailer. The gentleman who made my reservation for the Jonesboro location was amazing but I would never use or recommend Uhaul again.

Uhaul rental was completed on line for Fairburn location in Douglasville, GA on Thursday, July 10th @ approximately 4:30 am. On Friday, July 11th, approximately 4:00 pm, I received a email from Uhaul which indicated pick up location was changed as well as pick up time. It's unacceptable to reserve a truck where no truck was available. My pick up time went from 8:00 am and ultimately 10:00 am. Upon returning, I was informed payment couldn't paid via cash and remove charges from credit care, since it was a one way rental. My experience with Uhaul wasn't satisfactory to say the least. I was given the wrong truck. I asked for a truck with a ramp, because I had a concession stand that needed to be taken to an event. I was a vendor at this concert. I drove the uhaul to the location to pick up the concession stand and noticed when I opened the uhaul it was the wrong truck. (On a time Schedule) The truck that was given to me didn't have a ramp. I made sure that I asked for a ramp, and I even explained to Louis why I needed a ramp. This was 4th of July weekend and traffic was horrible. I was late setting up with this new entertainment company that I was doing the vending for. I returned the uhaul back to the location and I had to wait in line, even though I called the help desk on the phone prior to returning the uhaul to be replaced, and asked them to have one ready when I got there, because I was running behind. I was told that it would be ready when I got there. It wasn't ready and this made me even later. I had to have someone pick up the concession stand and take it to the concert, so that I could get the concession stand set up. After the concert was over I pulled out the ramp and noticed that the ramp wasn't wide enough to roll the concession stand up on the ramp, so I had to have the same person that took the concession stand to the concert, come back and pick me and the concession stand up. I could have avoided all of this if I had gotten the truck that I ordered the first time, I would have known that the truck wasn't going to work and I could have returned it right then without putting all of those miles on the truck that I'm being charged for. I spoke to the owner Louis and he still wanted to charge me for the miles on the truck eventhough, I had to back track and do everything double because of the wrong truck that was given to me. I couldn't replace the gas because I had someone following me to get me home. I was charged full price eventhough, it was Louis's fault that he gave me the wrong truck initially. I called to see if he could adjust the rate and he told me that he would call me back, I didn't hear anything from him, so I had to return to the location to speak with him again, and he treated me as if he was doing me a favor by considering to make the situation right, when it was his fault for giving me the wrong truck in the first place. I looked at my bank account and noticed that nothing has been adjusted. I felt like I was treated so unfairly, not to mention that I didn't use the truck for what I rented it for,and had to sit in traffic and his neglience caused me to be late. The customer service on the South side is ridiculous,I can't understand how a owner can see the problem that they caused and still do absolutely nothing to compensate. My equipment was not ready and I waited 2hours to get my truck. Whoever make reservations should provide clear instructions regarding them. I thought I had a truck for 24hours, got to the location to learn I only had it for 8. No happy with that part of my experience.
