Make sure that the truck is roach free before renting it out and waisting two hours of my evening bringing it back instead of moving like I had planned we had planed.

The pickup went smoothly. The truck's fuel gauge was terrible -- would flip from 1/4 to 3/4 full. This made it very difficult to judge how much to put back in it!! The reservation itself was a nightmare. I was NOT able to pick up my equipment where promised. I have claimed my $50.00 guarantee with Jake.

I will not recommend UHaul to any of my friends. In fact, I will recommend that they use other companies. UHaul needs to revamp its policies to allow customers to pick up their trucks in locations closer to them OR it needs to give customers additional notice about where trucks will be. I recognize that pick-up locations must vary a bit to accommodate the location of the trucks, but it seems like UHaul could try a bit harder to put the trucks a little closer to its customers. An extra 120 mile round trip is a significant burden on a day when the customer is trying to coordinate an across country move.

We scheduled the pickup nearly three weeks ahead of time for PITTSBURG, KS not Joplin. We were informed by email Sunday morning (about 10:30am) that we would have to pickup in Joplin. When we called the national 800# to raise hell about it, we were told that they had called us WHICH WAS A LIE as there were no messages on the answering machine for our land line and no calls on our cell phone. Your customer service rep was very rude and her comment to us was "What do you want me to do about it?" REALLY!?!?!? This our second bad experience with U-Haul, there will not be a third!! Let's see if you post these comments for public viewing.

The actual Customer Service@ 800.go.haul is terrible. We were double charged for our rental. When calling Customer Service to try and sort it out several of the agents hung up or transferred to a line to search by name or extension. Unprofessional!! What is worse is in advance we knew the charge and which card we wanted to use, double charging us resulted in a negative account balance and unnecessary overdraft charges. Unhappy with Uhaul's Customer Service. The location and employees there were polite at least!

My mileage was taken down by the store as 3 miles less then what I started out at. The truck I reserved was not available, my dolly I reserved was not in the truck and I had to load it myself while the attendant stood beside me, the gas gauge was a "floater" and it was stated that it was a half tank at time of departure when it was under 1/4 tank. I overfilled the tank with 11 gallons, when I only used 6 gallons and it was still stated on my contract that it was at a 1/4 tank when I returned it, I took a picture per the customer service associate I talked to on the phone yesterday. I haven't ever had a good experience with this uhaul location, unfortunately it is the one that has the most trucks in my area. I'm calling cust service again today for a refund.

Tell ppl when they pay the final bill with their debit card that the hold placed on the acct when they leave with the truck does NOT get dropped right then. Moving is expensive enough. Then u get the surprise of a hold for the estimated price still in limbo after u pay the bill. Rather inconvenient when u dont kbow this ahead of time!
