I have used Haul numerous times. I have never been put in a vehicle that I was afraid wouldn't get me where I was going...until this time.
This 24 ft truck needs to be retired. First, it didn't want to start. The driver door came open on me 3 times and rattled to the point of me wondering if it would fall off. The air while nice on such a hot day would only blow full blast. This mixed with the door noise was quite the distraction. Brakes...wow.
Very disappointed.

We picked up a 17' truck in Kenner Louisiana, headed for North Carolina. On the way we picked up an auto transport (car completely up off the ground) on Pass Road in Gulf Port, Mississippi to tow a Honda CRV. The car was placed on the transport in the back of the business and then brought to the front for us to get in and go. Later that evening at the hotel where we stopped for the night, we could not get our suitcases out of the car because the doors would not open due to the height of the fenders of the transport being higher than the door edge. We could not figure out why this would be the case.
The next day when we had the car taken off the transport, we watched as the man simply pulled a rubber latch and the fenders folded right down. We were stunned.
The agent at the Gulf Port, Ms. outlet had neglected to show us prior to hitting the road how to access the car by folding down the transport's fenders. We were quite annoyed after seeing how simple it was, as we had no access to our personal belongings during our hotel stay.
Please be sure that all agents show customers how to work the auto transport.

Cargo van I rented was virtually new and ran beautifully. William, Jonathan and Larry provided outstanding service as has always been my experience at this location, over numerous rentals.

Found the employee somewhat rude when asking about the use of the car tow dolly, which I have never used before. He seemed to correct himself when I became abrupt with him.

It was raining and no one came out to help us even though the sign said to stop and wait for someone. We waited about 15 minutes and then finally went inside for help. No one came out and helped us unhook either. Not sure if they were super busy or not.

I made my reservation weeks in advance, there is a U-Haul place 3 miles from my house and you sent me over 20 miles for the pickup. That seemed very unnecessary and wrong.

Checking out the guy was fine but checking back in the guys where busy on the phone and we had to get the trailer off our car by ourself
They didn't seem interested in helping

The truck I rented was not available so I was given a van which made my trip more difficult. I was told that my first hundred miles would be free for he inconvenience, When I returned the truck I was charged for mileage. It was a different person checking the van in than before. She stated I had hundred miles but didn't go over them. It made no sense. I would like someone to contact me concerning this matter. Michael Indest 504 451-5812

Whoever helped me today was incredibly nice. It was pouring rain when I returned the equipment. The representative ran outside to meet me and even ran my receipt out to me. I stayed in my car the entire time!

Even though uhaul online gives you the choice where to pick up your equipment it seems im always sent to the opposite side of town....wouldnt be an issue if charges didnt include milage. Otherwise this location and staff were very helpfull.

The manager at this location was extremely rude. The truck contract said the tank was 7/8 full when it was 3/4 full. The mileage was also overcharged, and it took an argument to get things right. I will never rent from this lcoation again, as my brother had problems as well.
