not sure if I was charged for pads, decided at pickup I didn't need them and Jeffery said he'd take it off the bill. didn't look before I packed invoice, hopefully he took the $$ of my bill

We had to sweep out the trailer as it was not clean and it smelled of chemicals. All our fabric furniture we moved had the smell of the chemicals. Not a good experience!

What's the point of making appt online if when you arrive you still have to wait in long line? The personnel were very polite & professional, just were very busy with large number of customers

Make sure your employees are actually paying attention to customers when they drop off equipment. Instead of standing around talking. I had to go in and get someone to help me with my return.

The moving truck I rented had roaches all inside of it. We were having to fight them off. When I purchased the truck the gentleman in the store said, "I think it has about half a tank." I brought it back two days later and am being charges 100 bucks for a rental that should only be around 60-70 bucks.

First truck had a large rip in the roof- they knew I was going 1400 plus miles never mentioned it (I had to find it after signing for the truck, scam) After getting another truck- no dolly or pads were ready Had to go & get the dolly & when asking for the pads, the girl smartly sated they were right there by the door- I grabbed the bag & left. When returning this unit in MI- they charged me for 12 blankets I never got $65- this is bull- poor customer service, they never gave me the pads- only one bag with six in it (how was I suppose to know the bag only had six, she never got off her ass to help!) The truck was turned in short on gas but $205 is ridiculous- 50 gal tank- with a ¼ tank of gas leaves around 35 gallons to fill up- when I asked to see the gas receipt from the U-haul shop in MI, they couldn’t produce the proof. Even at $3.90 a gall it doesn’t come close to $205 dollars for gas- SCAM The car dolly was a new one when I first signed the contract in TX- three days to load the truck & when I returned, the piece of Crap they gave me- nothing worked. The clamps did not stay tight; the drivers side tire wheel cover (metal) kept fallen over sticking out & wouldn’t stay. the tire straps kept falling off & the vehicle on the car dolly almost came completely off the trailer when all straps & chains fell off- I had to left air out of the front tires & then fill the tires back up to keep the straps from becoming loose & yes0 the U-Haul in TX installed the trailer & hooked it up before I left- piss poor service & equipment. I was ALSO told in TX that since I picked up the car dolly three days later that it was under a different contract & if I turned it in early I would get a discount (BULL SHIT- I turned it in early in MI & they would not give me any discounts on early return BUT STUCK IT TOO ME FOR ANY LATE REURNS.PISSING ME OFF!!!!!!1 The trip was a living hell, no cruise control on the truck- just a mess. POOR SERVICE, POOR EQUIPMENT, PISS POOR! SCAM WHEN RETURING, BY OVER CHARGING ME FOR ITEMS THEY NEVER GAVE ME, OVERCHARGED FOR GAS ON RETURN, BS COMPANY! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Hard to find this location. A bit off the beaten path. The staff were good overall . The equipment was good. However, Many auto GPS systems can't even find them on any map. Not so good. ( This was honestly mentioned to me over the phone so at least I wasn't surprised and they gave acceptable verbal directions.

I had originally reserved a 6x12 trailer, but due to a mechanical issue with the trailer had to settle or a 5x8. However the people at the branch were very nice and apologetic for the situation. Only suggestion would be to try to keep a backup trailer of each size if possible.

Went from worst haul center to the best. Send some of these Texas employees to Shreveport to teach what customer service should be delivered.

Not really sure who the lady was that helped me when I rented the trailer, but she was awesome!!! Wish everyone who worked in the customer service industry treated their customers like that. Anyways, give her a raise or promotion or something. She made my morning!

Next time, record the correct mileage. I was charged double - 32 miles. I recorded and plotted my mileage.. I traveled 16 miles total... from Uhaul and back to Uhaul... I will never rent from Uhaul again.

Needed for local moving and first rented a 24Ft truck but it was realky old and it was very noisy and shook really bad, radio was missing nob to turn it up. So went back in and exchanged it for 17ft truck which all so was older truck and had damage all the way around it with little sticker saying claim settled by safegaurd. Tow/haul always stayed on which made you use more gas. They told me newer trucks was for long distance use only. Rubber passenger door trim was hanging down so I had to put it back best i could so my son could ride with me. Gas gauge took like 20 minutes to go to full after filling up. $.99 cents a mile seem high for local use when I had to truck back early due to someone had it rented for next morning.

Make sure the lights work! Uhaul sent me down the road, telling me my lights checked out, and the tail lights were NOT. Thankfully, a trooper stopped me before somebody plowed into my trailer in the interstate. NEVER take the attendant's word for something this important.
