After driving two hours to pick up our UHAUL truck, we were met with a totally rude associate by the name of James, who could care less if we rented a UHAUL truck or not. We were finally taken care of by another associate, Marc. My husband even had to ask James to end his continuous verbal spat, so we could continue to work with Marc. Even after my husband made this request, James continued to be problem to the situation rather than a solution. He should be reprimanded for his unacceptable behavior. That store is full of cameras which can verify our complaint.

Originally sent to a site that advertised 24 HR dropoff. Not true. Lot entrances were blocked with equipment and cables. This caused inconvenience and a delay of my trip (at 8am).

Upon arrival at Uhaul, the trailer was attached by 2 Uhaul employees. We went 5 miles down the road to pick up our vehicle. Upon putting the vehicle on the trailer, the trailer came off the ball of the truck and smashed right into the back tailgate of my truck causing major damage. It had not been attached properly and was barely even screwed on. It was not my responsibility to double check what the Uhaul employees should have done correctly in the first place. we then had to call Uhaul and talk to a representative to file a claim for the damage to our truck. The woman i spoke to - Laura - was very rude and condescending. This took up a huge amount of time before she would even send someone to look at the damage and further assist us. We were 4 hours from our destination and this put us behind an extra 2 hours. Now i have to go through the hassle of trying to contact Uhaul's insurance company and get my truck fixed. If the trailer had come off the ball while we were driving on the highway (and it would have) it would have been a disaster. Not only would it have caused us to wreck, it would have caused a major wreck with multiple cars. All because 2 employees of Uhaul couldn't do their job correctly. Extremely upset regarding the practices of this Uhaul Company!!!

Take the Uhaul I rented to a scrap yard. Don't use it for another customer. I thought part of the truck was going to fly off while on the interstate. A large piece kept flapping and caused HORRIBLE fuel economy. Seriously, run that thing off of a cliff and don't look back. On a positive note all employees were very friendly and professional. All locations were very clean.

Would suggest that employees spend a little more time orienting drivers to the truck as I had indicated that I had never driven one before - it would be helpful to know which side the gas tank is located, review the instrument panel, how to operate anything inside the truck, i.e. air conditioner, radio, even the windows as I had not seen manual windows in decades an it took me a bit to figure out that they was not a button to let the windows up and down :-). The employees were friendly and professional. In regards to the online booking process - a bit cumbersome as it kept adding items to my cart that I did not want. It indicated and booked a truck at a location convenient to my home, but after confirmation of the booking, I received a notification that the truck had to be picked at an inconvenient location much further away. The truck came with limited mileage and when I expressed concern that I was using extra mileage to get back to my original location, the u-haul representative gave me extra mileage to cover the extra distance we had to cover. I was appreciative and the mileage worked out so I did not have extra cost for mileage overage.

My drop off point was picked from choice of 4. Upon arriving, a dealer was 3.5 miles from storage. Asked to change to closer store. Refused extra 9 mi. drive to drop off point.

The only complaint I have is that I was told one price when I reserved the equipment but when I went to pick it up I was charge over $100 more. And the person helping me was not very friendly .

The manager was argumentative when we accidentally brought all of the paperwork in and handed it to him. It seems I accidentally picked up some paper that should have been in the glove box when I stored my paperwork there and he flipped out and would not accept my explanation of how the paperwork was not in the glove box where he addiment it should NEVER COME OUT causing me to be confused and finally angry. He would not stop asking me about an accident. There was no accident and I have no idea why just because some paper was not in the glove box but in the office is beyond me. Please review the CCTV system and speak with the manager. Also the guy checking in vehicles was talking on the phone the who time about what they were going to do right after work. I was standing there looking at him in the heat while he was just talking... what on earth is going on at this location?

I was charged for gas even though I took a pic of gas gauge upon renting and returning and it was in the exact same spot. I should not have to pay becsuse the place I rented it from was to lazy to check the gas and write down the correct amount. I have proof. Very poor experience and I will let everyone I know know how you are a rip off and steal from honest people.
