This is the 2nd time I've used uhaul and gotten ripped off by hidden fees. We returned the truck with what we thought was an adequate amount of gas. This location charged usan additional $28 for gas and $30 to put it in!!! Last time they charged us $25 to clean the cab for a small piece of paper that got under the seat. I will NEVER use uhaul again...not even tobuy a box!!!!

I was concerned about the security of the after-hours key drop off. The metal key slot door did not spring closed, and the truck keys were just lying right there on the floor. If I had a clothes hangar I could have fished them back out. There was a vehicle running in the parking lot and I was nervous about leaving the keys. I did check back with the manager (Guy Holt) that Monday, who acknowledged the situation and did say there was at least camera coverage on the door.

I had to drop the equipment off earlier and at a different location because I had a crisis. The incent would make me a 3 day late or more, so I had to turn in the tow dolly. The manager was not flexible and charged me $125 plus tax to turn it in at his location. I was more than upset. You people robbed me while I was looking you in the eye. I want some feedback from you on ths. I still need to move my vehicle, but I don't want to pay you full price after I had to pay your $125 plus tax to drop it off. The contract is wrong. The one way rental was for Lake Charles to Baton Rouge. The truck broke down after 28 miles total. The Truck then had to be towed. A power steering pump fitting came loose and blew a rubber o-ring/seal out. Also the truck has a bad right rear spring, it is riding on the snubber.

Rent trucks with a full gas tank. It's too difficult to try and match the amount of fuel when it's 75% you are trying to meet. This would require stopping in the middle of fueling to turn on the truck to see where the needle is.

We reserved a large truck and it was not available on the date we reserved it; a van was available. Apparently, the location oversold for that date b/c we have confirmation for the large truck and a photo of the truck to make sure we were reserving the correct size truck. This caused us to have to send someone a second time the next day to pick up the size we originally reserved, once one was returned by someone else. Not good customer service!
