Not to allow the call center to say there is a truck at 12:00pm and send one to the location to find that all are gone and not until 5pm can one get a truck. What saved me and my family is that they happen to have a pick up truck. The location was not the problem but the call center making reservations. Debbie Hussong

Need to remodel this location. This is the OC and this facility doesn't represent south OC at all. The customer service is awesome and for that alone uhaul deserves my business. Great customer service!

There is a guy that works at the lake forrest location, jas very long dark hair, looks like Native American..he was so so rude. Angry in his tone when he speaks to you. I rwnted truck for 24 hrs but finished early so tried to return same day. Arrived at 6:59pm n they close at 7pm. When I walked up to door, I could see he was still therw but door was locked. Knocked n tried to ask if he would take the key, he looked up n yelled "we are closed," n continued soing what he was doing. I said but it just turned 7pm so u had to have closed earlier. He ignores me. I stood oit there looking thru glass for 4 mins till he then opened the door n said "can't u read the signs, no parking allowed. We have no night drop." I said but I was here at 7sharp n customer service goes a long way and your tone is so rude. You don't have to be rude. The way u are speaking to me is horrible. He said, "you can park the car and tossed your keys under the door. I'm doing u a favor by letting u do that. I don't have to do that." I left the truck and took the cars and had to return again the next day to do return. He had a right to go home on time, that is clear, what is not okay is the horrifying anger in his tone in how he spoke to me. I left there shaking in anger and disgust. I was frankly uncomfortable to be standing there in the dark with this creep. He is a moron who has no concept of customer service. When the public patronizes your business the favor is being done for you not the other way around. This worker is angry and clearly doesn't enjoy his job. He will cost the company to lose money by mistreating customers. U haul should consider aa replacement with someone who wants and enjoys the job. will never return to this location and will think twice before usins U Haul.

Van was dirty. Not washed. Windshield dirty with dried bugs. Wiper blades rubber coming off so much that windshield was being scratched by the metal. Peculiar odor could be smelled

I called the number shown in the Google search for El Toro Uhaul to set this up and they didn't advise me regarding two locations being within walking distance of one another. I went to the wrong location first which was very frustrating as my ride had dropped me off and I had to walk several blocks to get to the correct location. Your AZ staff needs to sharpen up. Also the truck I rented was full of small gravel pieces and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. Had I not noticed this it would have beem an issue as i had no way to clean it myself and it would have destroyed my furniture. I was told the truck gets 8 miles per gallon and that I would be charged $5.50 per Gallon if I didn't replenish gas. I drove a total of SIX MILES and was charged $19 for fuel replenishment. The dude at Uhaul had no explanation and told me he was too busy to explain it to me but any idiot can do the math. Not a pleased customer and will go to Budget in the future.

my bill is not correct. They forgot to add 6s miles to the milege wen I went out. it was 90012.4 not 9006.3 Now I need to take the time to go back to the location to adjust and correct the billing.... not good...... another trip back takes time.

The truck was on poor condition. The Drivers side review mirror did not The Cab of the truck was filthy. In addition the location was short staffed for first thing on a Saturday Morning.

I had booked the 26 foot truck at least one month ago around 07/30 and got a confirmation to pick up the truck on 08/31 at Irvine station. I even got email and phone confirmation on 08/28 to pick up the truck at the Irvine location. It turned out to be that I could not get the truck on 08/31 from the last minutes notice and need to go to lake forest ( a different city and it was 15 miles away ). I had flied in SNA from SJC to pick up the truck and waited for this move. The regional office manager even threatened to me that leave it or take it. I had complained about the default was due to U-haul's fault and asking for compensation. The regional manager said the company would give back $50 back to my credit card within 5 business day of rental. It is 9 days after the rental and I have not received the credit card refund of $50. May I know what is the problem from your regional manager. Please respond to my issue immediately and my email is chinchunchen@hotmail.com

Not sure I would recomend u-haul over its competitors. I purposely picked a different location with 24 hour drop off, as I planned on leaving my car in the parking lot. I got there and they told me no, your equiptment is at another location....not like someone told me ahead of time or anthing. Now, I am in a section of town there is no way I am leaving my personal vehicle for any length of time. SO I had to load that vehicle on the tow trailer, take the extra drive back home, which added some mileage I had to pay for. Unload my personal car, then re-load the actual vehicle being transported, then get on my way. So, now I am out time and mileage. This bothers me as I did all the early check in and everything. I asked at the first location if I could return everything there, she said no, you can drop off the truck, but we wont take the trailer, not sure what to do with a trailer when I dont have a truck to pull it. Honestly, I would expect more out of a older large company like u-haul

I had to ask to have my original rental agreement returned to me after the attendant took it. He was surprised that I wanted it back. That doesn't leave a good impression with customers.

The wait to get the equipment took 30 minutes - only one person was working the front. It would be nice to be able to fast track customers who have checked in online (have a separate line for them so that they don't have to wait for the person to explain the insurance, mileage, etc). I also specifically asked for a furniture dolly, but didn't get one. I realize I'm a woman, but I know the difference between a furniture dolly & an appliance dolly (besides, when ordering online, the pictures make it "fool proof"). Yet, I didn't get one in the truck. The site is small and hectic, probably because not enough workers to keep people moving. However, I'm not sure there are many choices in Lake Forest.
