Vehicle had food wrappers on seat & floor, car smelled of heavy cigarette use. I moved a 30 pound picture wrapped in quilts. No heavy or dirty job. I immediately showered when I go home to rid cigarette & other funky odors. Staff less than helpful. Will pay more to go elsewhere next time.

One employee checking customers in and out. I guess between one minimum wage employee, hidden fees, and $12 boxes uhaul manages to survive. I was given my original drop off location in palmdale. When I get there, a disgusting vulgar woman showing her breasts says she does not accept 20' trucks, only 17'. Now I have to waste my time and gas and drive the truck to Lancaster. I really liked her effort to accommodate the fucked up situation they created. Shouldn't they know who takes what equipment. Never have I seen such unprofessional work and productivity from any such company. I was literally appalled. Never again will you get any money from me uhaul.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I had reserved an 26' Uhaul and when my husband got to the location to pick up. The employee stated they "called" and couldn't get ahold of us. So they rented out the truck to someone else. At the end we were given a smaller size truck after waiting for a few hours. Their communication skills need improvement.

Phone rep was a bit snippy wanting us to come to the store to pay for an extra day because we were CASH customers. We decided to not take an extra day because of that attitude.

Took for every to get a third party credit card to stick. Every time I call to make a reservation, it is a huge ordeal. I get transferred to a main location and they are simply clueless. It really doesn't work...Why have a local location if you cannot deal direct? I'm thinking Ryder next time around...

It did take us an hour once we had our paperwork to actually get the truck and tow dolly, because they couldn't get the lights on the tow dolly to work. Ended up switching trucks and then it worked.

In and out quickly once an attendant came to the counter. Someone was in the back office on the computer with their back to the customers at the front counter. Three of us were waiting for about 10 minutes.

Uhaul downgraded my reservation without telling me. when I came into the store the only way I found out was when they grabbed the keys to a smaller vehicle. And they didn't have any bigger ones available which caused me to not be able to move all of my stuff. Great thing I paid $200 to not even be able to move everything I own. Not worth the money, go somewhere else.

I personally didn't experienced this but while I was being helped. (By Aubry, I believe) there was a line of about six costumer behind me. Computer crashed (btw Aubry handled it really well by not rushing my transaction, which I truly appreciated it) while I was being helped and people were waiting I could hear other worker in the back laughing and having a good time (I suppose) in the mean time six other costumer were not having the same pleasant experience I was. Once again, my personal experience was excellent but not sure other costumer waiting had the same experience.

I called and made a reservation specifically stated I needed an open trailer for the size of items I was hauling. When I arrived the reservation was for an inclosed trailer the u haul gave poor service and had multiple trailer for in town use and wouldn't accommodate my need. They wanted me to drive 40 miles to a different town to get a trailer when my reservation was with that location. Well in the end I had to put my large belongings on the side of the road with a free sign because I was left with no choice but to do so considering I only had one day to complete my move out of town and had no way to store the items. Poor service all the way around from the reservation that didn't listen to my need to the location that was unwilling to help me out. Suggestion would be better training on customer service and how a reservation should be taken.. listen to the customer after all they are paying for your service, in this case a trailer. Prices are very high 160 dollars for trsiler for one day is ridiculous.
