I have an auction business and use this facility many times a year; I always get great service and Renee and her staff are always pleasant and efficient in getting me the trucks and trailers that I need. And I have never seen a cleaner restroom ANYWHERE! Keep up the good work.

I reserved a vehicle online for $55 plus the $14 insurance. The reservation covered a truck picked up from Lancaster with return to the same store along with 100 miles. When I arrived at my reservation time to pick up the vehicle, I was told that's not even an option and they don't do return trucks, just one-way trucks. They said my cheapest option was a one-way that, with tax, was over $120. Obviously I had made moving arrangements for today and couldn't wait to find some other location to get a vehicle. Not an hour later I received a call from Uhaul wanting to know if I still wanted the vehicle. Confused, I explained what had happened, and the customer service person was also confused. She still showed the truck there waiting on me and said she had no idea why the retailer told me it couldn't be done.

The employees at the Lancaster Ohio store need to be re-trained on how to provide excellence in customer service. I have personally worked in customer service for more than 26 years. The location was notified 10 days ahead of time of the equipment that was needed for our move to Florida. We went to place the order for the equipment previously discussed at the location mentioned and the equipment needed was not available at any store within a 50 mile radius by the day we needed the equipment. We started a contract for a smaller truck, but was told to come back the following day to finish the contract and rental. The price we were quoted that day was not the same price we paid the following day. Due to the unavailability of the equipment needed, we had to order extra equipment to finish the move. In total instead of paying the approximate amount of $3000 the bill was closer to $5000. The employees were informed many times that furniture pads needed to be added to the order, and were added but were not provided at the time of pickup of the truck and other equipment. An extra trip had to be made into town from our home (approx. 30 miles) in order to get the furniture pads. The Lancaster store was informed that we needed an extra day for the move, which would have been Thursday August 28. However, as the truck was dropped off that day at the Florida location, we were told by the receiving store that the Ohio store had scheduled drop off of the equipment for Friday August 29, and we were charged, even though that is not what we ordered or opted to pay for at the time of the contract. Due to amount of money paid out, incompetency of employees, overcharges, and lack of availability of equipment, we will never contract to do business with UHaul again, and will advise others not to as well.

The staff was great at this location. We had a new employee and she did a good job. She had a problem in the middle of filling in the contract and immediately asked the "boss" for help to make sure it was correct. Great store and great location. Definitly would use this facility again.

Allowed no smoking in your trucks or have designated non-smoking trucks and smoking trucks for a choice The smell was putrid throughout of stale cigarette smoke in the truck. Other than that everything went very well.

The1921 Riverway Dr location personnel were warm, friendly, professional, and helpful. The unit rented was clean and well maintained. The conditions of rental were explained well and left no room for questions. The return was quick, easy, and very convenient. A very good overall experience. I do not need to rent moving trailers or vehicles often and it is nice to know this location is as good as it is. Thank you.

Newer equipment and add lift gates to at least your 26' trucks. The ramp on the truck I rented was pretty steep, which did not make it very easy to load the truck with heavy items. The truck was clean, but not in very good shape. Transmission seemed to be slipping, and possible exhaust leak on the truck.

I am not impressed. I was told to have the vehicle returned by 7:00 PM when I picked it up. My daughter received a phone call at approximately 4:00 asking why we had not returned it yet. The question was not phrased politely and felt rather accusatory considering the fact that we were within the parameters set by the gentleman who initially helped me.

The young man who helped me the day I bought my cartons. he went of his way to make my experience great! Renee helped me the day I picked up the reserved truck. How ever I ended up with the wrong truck. if I had went on the mileage it would have been very costly. According to the the fuel guage it was on 3/4th of a tank, with out the additional marks to read the gage. The truck was very sluggish and had an issue with the breaks. After the move was other I went by the scale of the paper I received. according to the scale it would require 19 gallons to bring it back up to the original amount that was in the truck when I rented it. but however when I put the 19 gallons it became over full. I called the number on the paper to correct the issue. but they said I needed to contract the manager of the facility. so when I took the keys in,(which I was late to do it, did not realize I had the keys). Yes I knew this was an issue. However when I got there I started the finalized issues with one of the attendants. The manager Renee came in and was asking me questions about the situation, and she was very condescending with her answers,like "that's ecause you are driving a very large truck that weighs tons". What she does not understand me and my husband had our own moving company with very extrodanary reviews. That is due to Customer Service. I feel she was upset because she did not want to deal with th issues. However I am not unfamiliar with this type of equiptment. She took twenty something dollars to correct for the gas situation and said we actually got to the wrong truck. well that was not my issue or mistake. I did however tell her, her customer service sucked and that she Is being mean. Condescending attitude is being mean and that is poor customer service! due to the customer service disaster after the job was done, I will never rent a tuck there, and would not recommend them to my friends or family.

I am disgusted at how the customer service is and how it took over 3 hours being down with a flat tire before anyone go to me on a major Highway. Over an hour of that was trying to reach roadside assistance. The number in truck kept telling me the number was out of service and the store kept telling me to get in line which I could not do and no time for and they kept hanging up on me while trying to connect. Finally my wife in florida got ahold of someone and I had to wait 90 min for someone to come. Very disgusted by all of this.
