Poor customer service, not enough staff to meet client demand, and obvious lack of concern to provide customers with what they need. If it were not for my tight time schedule, I would have walked out and gone else where.

The truck was beat up pretty bad. There were lots of scrapes and dents, leading to me saying that the equipment was not well maintained. However, it was clean; no question.

I had a very frustrating experiance. I had wanted the truck for 24 hours, I would have not agreed to it if I could only use it for 12 hours. I was not informed of needing to return it after 12 hours until I picked it up. I felt the woman who was helping me didn't really care or try to help my situation. I ended up leaving work to move when I wasn't planning on it and inconveniencing my friends who helped me for the night. I did go into the store a couple days later and let them know, they would not give me a refund for the $29.99 but I was issued a $10 in store credit, which is better than nothing but not what I would have liked.

Service of staff is very friendly and helpful. Truck is not in very good condition. Very bouncy on the road? Shocks getting worn out. Tires look worn too, but we did only 80 miles and made it back safe.

1. Trailer lights didn't work. Good thing I checked them, because the workers hadn't. No excuse for that. 2. The paperwork they issued for the replacement trailer was for a different person than me, and the due date was over 2 weeks before I even picked the trailer up. It took some talking to convince the return facility in Houston that I wasn't making it up, as they wanted to charge me the late fees. 3. I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas. It was below that...closer to 1/8. Not a big deal, but lazy that the Lawrence store didn't put a couple of gallons in it.

When I brought the truck back - a lady walked out the door and greeted me - as I pulled in. She asked about the experience - and asked if I would like an email receipt. "Yes." She then said, okay, you are welcome to go - I'll email you the receipt. That was great service.

When we arrived at the U-Haul store there originally no one inside at the counter. Once an employee he said nothing to us. A significant time later another employee came in and she also said nothing to us. There was no I'll be right with you or any greeting by either employee. We stood inside for over 30 minutes before an employee finally came back and acknowledged our presence. By that time there were 3 other customers in the store who had also been waiting a significant time. It didn't seem like good customer service.

Provide instructions on returning rented equipment, i.e. how to disengage a 6'x12' trailer. The staff was helpful with suggesting alternative rentals and replacing the coupler on our truck. They seemed to work together well.

We should have been told sooner that we were going to have to travel to another town 30 miles away to pick up our truck. We did not have internet service because we were moving. It would have been better to have been sent the email days before, not less than 24 hours before. Or, to be texted this information the day before. We almost did not find this out so that we could adjust our rented moving help time.

When I returned my truck, they had a sign out saying to stay there with your equipment and someone would be there to check you out. Nobody came after about 10 minutes, then I had to go wait in line inside to basically hand them the keys.

Don't make us drive 30 minutes away to pick up a truck that was not there and then have to wait another 30 minutes or so for the truck to show up from the last renter. There was no communication before the time to pick up that there was an issue with our reservation. Truck was not cleaned out before renting out to us. The whole situation should have been taken care of prior to our arrival which was confirmed by me calling and talking to a representative two days prior.

Customer service could definitely use some MAJOR improvement... The employees act as though you are putting them out by requesting they do a walk over of your truck. I returned a truck and was asked if I was "ok with an emailed receipt", I stated yes, that was ok, but that I needed to know what the final charge would be. The employee lost his breath and walked away without a word to me, walked out the door (I presume to check my truck), was gone for 4 min, then came back in and began working on the register. He then stated my total and asked if I needed a paper receipt. I'm ok with an emailed receipt, but I am not going to accept a receipt for an unknown total!

The truck was given to me with 7/8 tank of gas, staff I insisted it was full and marked it as such. I drove 22 miles and the. Had to add 4.18 gallons of gas. When I returned the truck at Full, the lady at the desk said you cannot issue refunds for overfueling. I returned it on full to avoid paying a filling fee, but ended putting in far more gas than I used. I am dissatisfied and told he that upon return of equipment.

Good thing I checked to make sure I had the pads, otherwise would have left without them. Truck was pulled up and left running, no one checked me out, had to do it myself. Also express check in does not work on the website.
