We were charged another day a couple days after it was returned and have had a very difficult time getting reimbursed. We have been trying for 2 weeks and nothing has been done. This is very frustrating that we have to keep calling back. You need to take care of this right when when it happens..... I don't know what to say - I have never been through this where we call and have to tell our story over and over and still nothing done about it......

I ended up needing the truck longer and called the location as soon as I realized this that evening. They said it would be fine and to call again when the location opened. I did this the next morning. The person who answered the phone was rude and said I had to have it back. I explained that it was not empty and I could not. They said I would have to speak to regional dispatch and transferred me to a voice mail ( which ended up being a private VM for an ex employee). I called back again and got another person who said there would be an additional $50 charge which WAS NOT disclosed to me at pick up. She said she would contact the location to let them know. The several hours later the location called me asking for the truck. I explained that I had called three times and that they were supposed to have been notified. Apparently not ! (for the record, all three times I called I called the drop off locations phone number) Poor control and systems management on UHaul's part. I returned the truck to an attendant who was smoking the whole time he checked out the truck and I was charged this undisclosed $50 when I paid up. This was a crappy experience and I will look for alternatives when I have to rent a truck again in about a month. I will also be sure to tell people about my experience. Thanx.

When I made the reservation I was quoted a figure. When I arrived to pick up my van I was told that there was a mandatory insurance charge of $30 for a one day rental. When I picked up another van the next day at another location I was told that the insurance was optional. If the insurance is mandatory it should be included in the quoted price. The personnel were not friendly or helpful.

On one of the busiest mornings of the year, there could have been more agents available to process customers arriving for their rentals. I arrived on time and waited 25 minutes to get my truck. Four or five extra labor hours - 1 additional person, between 7 and noon would have made a big difference in the customer experience. This after I did the on-line check in! The truck was fine and the service was good, too. The wait to get going was too long.

there was only one Customer Svc Rep on a very busy day. This was the long holiday wkend and line was out the door. Once reaching the desk the CSR was very pleasant but the location as a whole not so good. The truck was in good condition but management needed to have more people on site for a college move in wkend.

Site was clean, employees helpful. Even though clearly marked on the truck, I didn't notice the low overhead sign until after banging my head-maybe the employees could give a head's up on that as part of the rental spiel. Overall, a good experience.

Didn't have my truck even though I had a reservation for 7 am. Apparently they emailed me about the change, although I never received it. Why wouldn't they have called like a normal business? Instead I had to come back at 2. The guy at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and really and all around jerk.

I rented a cargo van assuming to pay $19.95 plus $0.59 per mile, but actually saved money when U-Haul automatically charged me the one day rate with 100 free miles. Saving money without asking. What a concept! Thank you, U-Haul of Leominster. PS. An emailed receipt within 30 minutes of drop off, at 10:30pm!!! Amazing service. I am very impressed.

I initially reserved my truck for pickup on 8/29 and it was to be returned by 9:00 am on the 30th. I later contacted Uhaul and requested to pick the truck up one day earlier on the 28th. The representative told me I had the truck through 8/30 at 9:00 am, which was confirmed by email. It was a 2 day rental. When I showed up on the 28th to pick up, "Adam" told me I was only reserved through the morning of 8/29. I explained that I had confirmation for 2 days with a return of 9:00 am on 8/30. Adam told me that his records didn't show that. I had planned for 2 weeks my move and needed the truck until 9:00 am on 8/30. Adam told me I had to have the truck back by the latest for 7:00 am on 8/30. I did the best I could, but could only get the truck back for 8:00 am on 8/30, which is 1 hour earlier than I had planned for. I could have used that extra hour with my move. When I returned the truck, I was charged for three days as "I had returned the truck a day late". I politely attempted to explain my position but was continually interrupted and treated rudely. I will be reporting this the the consumer fraud division of the Massachusetts. Attorney General's consumer fraud division, as well as the Better Business Bureau. I will also be contacting my credit card company regarding the overcharge which is clearly in violation of the confirmation I received via email as well as the Uhaul representative's statements to me when I extended the length of the rental to 2 days.

Check in and check out was to slow. Ended up having to pay more than original estimate. I was going to Springfield, MA from Leominster and the estimate was for 20 miles. I wasn't pleased I had to pay $40 more.
