We were told we could drop the cargo trailer after hours but then we were told at the site it would be an additional charge to do so.

Much better experience with this double axle enclosed trailer. We had tried an open one before and it was very noisy. Not this one, tracked well and not too much noise. Glad we went up to this level.

Please be sure that equipment is cleaned and inspected prior to customer pick-up. The truck was filthy and full of trash of which I picked up most before the move. I am very unhappy with the customer service at U-Haul overall.

The salesmen, Brandon I believe, was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me. He crawled around under my truck looking for my writing harness, which ended up not being there. So then we went back inside and he suggested me just renting a truck instead, so i ended up with the truck and trailer. He went out and hooked everything up for me and brought it around to me.

Was not happy that if I rented it from rocks in waysburge ohio. It would of been half the cost.. but i would of had todrive 7 hrs with your trail.. used it for 3 hrs.. dropped at hillsdale. auto center right beside my work after I dropped car off at my shop.. my shop is beside them..

I did not receive the 12 extra furniture pads I rented but now on the bill I see I am paying for them. When the mechanic that was on duty told me he put a re-manufactured alternator on it and it was squeaking I was not to concerned. Then he told me that when you get to 35 mph it just quits going and you have to let off the gas then hit it again to get going faster I was shocked to say the least. I feel for the money it cost this equipment was sub standard.

Poor staging area .No room for equipment return , poor design . A real cluster with more than one customer .Also did not agree with a charge for both units that needed cleaned , the truck couldn't have had anything more than a piece of cellaphane from the pads it was clean as a pin .Trailer maybe ..

All was great. I am sorry I did not get the names of the 2 guys that helped me because they were very informative and helped me carry supplies out. Heather was great inside and even brought the closing contract to the parking lot for me. Nice touch.

While 11 people were in route to pick up the 26' truck, I was called and said no truck was available. Men took off work to h3lp me and I was simply said they were sorry. I asked to speak to the manager and I was put on hold for 35 minutes. I asked what would U-Haul do for me if I reserved another truck next week and they offered me a $50.00 credit. Are you kidding me! No options were presented to me to solve the problem and your customer service was pathetic. I will never recommend U-Haul again because you cannot count on their word. The truck I had reserved was out of service with a brake fluid leak. I had to take a smaller truck. The manager was apologetic (not her fault), got me another truck very quickly and discounted my mileage to help with the extra trips I needed to make. This was a local rental. She was awesome and I will be back. She took a terrible situation and made it tolerable. I am happy and she is outstanding!

your prices are ridiculous I had rented a truck to move my furniture and didn't even have but an hour and cost me $58.90 and when I brought it back they wouldn't process it until I put more gas back in it so in all it cost me $68.90 for an hour rental. so if the customer has to put the gas back in it why charge them .99 cents per mile. Im sure yall are making a killing off all your extra fees and what not.

I made reservations online for a 17' truck and appliance dolly while in Columbus on Thursday 5/29/14. Set the pick up time for the truck at 3:15pm on Sunday 6/1/14. My information was lost, and I had to wait an extra 40 minutes to get the truck. Luckily there was a truck available for me to pick up. I thought making a reservation online was supposed to be easy, hassle free, and painless? I had looked at Penkse, Budget, and a couple other ways of moving my belongings out. I went with Uhaul because that is what I am familiar with. I trust that I will have no issues, and be taken care of. I trust the service you provide is top-quality and will give me the peace of mind I want during the process of moving. What is the point of having and making an online reservation, if the end result is reserving a truck in the store...after a error was made and a computer glitch? I understand "new" systems are unfamiliar to employees, but this was ridiculous. When my rental contract was finally printed out the appliance dolly was not even on the initial paperwork. So the price had to be altered and reflected on the final bill. What should have only taken 10-15 minutes, took an extra 40 miuntes!!! I did not set foot inside the truck until 3:55. One guy helped me after 15 minutes of waiting around, he had no clue what he was doing, and finally another guy helped me out. My contract was submitted and resubmitted over 7 times. What was supposed to be quick and easy turned into an eyesore and a painful stay. In the future when a customer reserves a truck online make sure all information if readily available and paperwork is correct. How am I supposed to recommend another moving company to friends when practically the only location is and has always been Uhaul on Elida Rd!?!?

When I was stranded because the movers I obtained off of your site did not show up the only thing your employees wanted to know was when I was going to get the truck back. I called several times to explain what a mess my daughter and I were in because of your movers. I told them I would do my best to get truck back by closing only to receive a nasty phone call that you closed at 8PM. My daughter and I were on our way and did not deserve to be treated that way after the experience we had with your movers not even calling us to inform us that they were not coming. I am a business owner and would NEVER treat anyone the way we were treated. Those movers should be removed from your site. You should not endorse a business that leaves people stranded like that. When I finally got a hold of him, he just said they were not coming and hung up on me.

I was told one time on the phone when I made the reservation then they rented my truck to someone else. Spoke to someone else and again was given a new time only to find out when I picked it up my time was cut in half then at checkout I did in fact have 24 hours. The amount of extra stress you put on people is ridiculous moving is already stressful enough. I brought my truck back as early as I could because I knew from the guy behind the counter the truck had be rerented t someone else at noon. You need to clean up your act or lose customers!

Had my pickup location set for Delphos, Ohio, and arrived and was told to drive back to Lima, Ohio for Truck. I wish I had known this as I drove thru Lima to go to Delphos. Wasted an hour of time and 25 mile round trip. Something should have been discounted for the hassle

I have used this location for the last time. The people are extremely rude and offer no customer service qualities. Unfortunately, they are the only service in the Findlay, OH area, I have made the same complaint before, I guess no one at U-Haul is listening. I had to order my trailer from another state and I was directed to the Lima store even though the Findlay operators would have gotten the trailer I needed. This is very poor service in this area. I drove up to a U-Haul representative in Greenville, TX without a reservation. Imagine the shock I received when the dealer in Greenville, TX took my trailer and handled the paperwork. You have a major problem in Ohio regarding the Lima, Findlay area. The dispatch always sends the job to Lima at the expence of the Findlay dealers. This is unacceptable. I spent more than an hour driving both ways to get my trailer. Luckily, I will never have to be in that area again. But I suggest that you allow the other franchisees to remove the black-eye I am giving for U-Haul for the Lima store"s actions. This store might be great on paper, but they are a poor representation of the U-Haul label. I have nothing left to say, and stop surveying me unless you are prepared to fix the problems. I can also ellaborate on the Lima location because they sent me a delinquint notice a month after I moved my stuff out of the storage there, One more time I had to go back there to get to the bottom of this. So sorry, computer error is not acceptible. All I can say is evaluate the service at Lima vs the service at Findlay. OH Main st. MAJOR difference. Too bad I was forced to use the Lima location once again to make my final move from Ohio.

I could have used a newer truck with better power steering. The employee explained why it was so hard to turn while parking truck. It's the first time I've had a bad experience with U-Haul. Will continue to use U-Haul in the future. Need to call ahead sooner for a newer truck.
